Who said faeries were lovely and sweet creatures?
Well, actually they are... though buDerflies really doubt about it:P

And you don't understand a word of what I'm saying huh?
Then have a at my Barter! ;-)**~~*^* *
We've just visited Arnaud and Pauline today. Arnaud is the future godfather of the shrimpette :-)))
And they're about to join (well, on next february!) the extended circle of *newparentssoonstucktoshortnights* !

Arnaud seems to wonder a lot about his role as a father. How will he manage to create a relationship with the baby during the pregnancy, how will he find his "place" between the baby and the mom, etc etc.
I don't find it that easy for men. But not more for women! hehe
Hmmm, I think during the pregnancy it's important for the future papa to be able to caress the belly, to talk to it if he wants, to try to feel the baby moving and to follow his/her movements. I mean it's important to feel the baby "physically". Because blahblahs are not enough.

It must be a bit frustrating to not be caring the baby. But at the same time, if I remember, I managed to put words on every "physical" sensation I was feeling during the pregnancy. So finally it was not my belly anymore. It was our belly. Hehe **~~* ^* *^^* *

Communication and sharing is the secret, don't you think?

Tadddddddddaaa...!
I have sold a print, I have sold a print!!!!

Ok, i don't wanna hear anything after I tell it's my mama who bought it (hehe), she's a customer like any other!
And she knew all what i had "in stock" since months, but when she discovered the *sunny awakening*, she ordered one instantly!
So it's done, 35 euros in the pocket and a great print in the hands of Beatrice (let's call her that way :P).

Ok, let's see, the invoice is done, I've put it in my account book (lol, second invoice in 2003)!
I'm gonna be rich!
RoaaaaaaaRRRRR
Is it me or something but....

... I've got an house wife question today (yeahhh, dat sounds terrible!)
... ok, let's go:
How much do you weekly spend for the basic shopping (food, house products, etc)?

Because I'm trying hard hard hard to reduce my expense in that field. I do spend weekly about 100 euros, despite huge efforts!
That includes wine and everything but it's still 100 euros!!!
Shiteroo!
Dat's my lil probbie of the day...

At least they deliver everything for that price!

If you're curious about *sunny awakenings*, have a look at that ;-)
Since monday morning I feel like a horse in a race... yup!
Maybe it's because I've started my week with this play-group for Lola. One hour with about 30 babies around is enough to consume your week's energy!
I don't feel really tired, just *speeeeeeeeeeeed*!
No way to go to bed before 1.00 am, usually now it's more around 1.30.
I feel one day I'll wake up with the need to sleep 24 full hours... but in 2 weeks we're on holidays, it will be purrrfect to re-load the batteries :P

Someone has just sent me an email about my website. She saw I was working on the children's story project and.... simply said my style was not adapted at all for kids.... that it was too.... AGRESSIVE!
I tell you... sometimes....
Had to reply I did not use to draw nekkid bums for kids
sigh

Talking of bums, i'm in the middle of a new one (hehe), working on a new painting :)
HAPPY sigh
;-) **~~*^* *
It's too hot, way too hot for someone who'd prefer to live in Finland than in Honolulu!
And it was a bit too hot for our picnic on saturday, but we really enjoyed it, and even managed to have beers then red wine without getting an headache! Yup yup!
And the 3 *octobrettes* looked really happy to bother someone else than their respective parents :P hehe
They were so adorable altogether, the kind of "show" that makes me want to be a multimama ;-)

So here are the pics of the 3 *miniZoctobrettes* as we call dem...Maïa, Gaïa and the shrimpette. Maïa will be the first to get 9 months-old, yup she's the old one.

Gaïa, Maïa and Lola... can you see their t-shirts btw (our creation, yup yup)?

aren't they hmm rock 'n roll? hehe

Lola about to sing Joan Baez' songs :P .... can you see her 2 lil teef?

Sunday, June 22, 2003

I've finally translated my children's story in English (which will be checked in the next days by an English friend of mine), so everything's ready to put it online. We've to work on the design though, it will take a few more days then.
I can't wait that everything's over with this story. It has taken too much time!

Saturday, June 21, 2003

They say the temp' will reach 33-35°C today... purrrfect for a picnic with friends!
Last time Lola saw her goilfriends, Maïa and Gaïa, they were 3 months-old. Now at 8 months-old, I think it will be rilly funny to let dem play together and see their *new* reactions :)

I just hope there will be enough sun for me (yeah I knowwww, it's not guuud, but just a bit of it is necssary for my sunny muuud! :P), but not too much for the goils! I'm taking umbrellas anyway to make shadow. I just can't understand it when I see babies under the sun without protection! I'm kinda maniac about it. I don't let Lola go with such a sunny weather without a hat, high (the highest..60!) protection lotion+ shadow.
Yes! Yes!
I woke a bit before 6.30 to finish painting the illustrations...and now it's 9.50 and it's done!!! Weeehooooooooo!
I need a 4th cawfee now because Lola should wake up in a minute!

The illustrations are very simple, made for 3, 4 years-old *readers* and I thought it will be quickly done. But I needed 2 weeks to finish them! Shiteroo, watta work!
(happy sigh)

My franwch shop on ebay is finally online!
There was much to do about it... writting purchasing conditions... defining a price... organizing the shipment and its cost, etc etc.

Ok, there's only one item on it... and when I find the precious minutes I'll add more. But I'm rather testing it, I don't expect really to sell on here, but I wouldn't want to miss any opportunity!
:-))

And nowwwww..... Lola standing on her legs (she needed a good reason to do it... like escaping from her parc!)

She is not specially quick in learning how to move (I think she nooooooooooes big efforts are not necessary yet! hehe)... but dat's a beginning!
Next week, if she gets up early enough (not at 10.00 as usual, that is), i'll take her to her first "babies meeting". I've found a place where parents take their babies to be in contact with other babies and to discover new environments. And it's free! That's kewl :))
It is official !!!!
Lola is as German as French, she'll get her German ID card in a few days (German do not ask for pictures for babies' ID cards...phewww... but they make it pay 28 euros! ID cards are free here :P)

I'm really happy we did it. It was not "necessary", but it meant a lot to us. Making lil efforts for "uncessary" thingies, I find it really important :)

Wine, beer, bretzel and baguettes, Derrick and les brigades du tigre... Lola has now entered a world of little contradictions and surprises!
hehehe
:-)))

After the German embassy cession, I came back with Lola in the push-chair and crossed half of Paris walking quickly (I had to be back for Lola's lunchtime.. no more boobies safety system!).
Les Tuileries, Concorde, Assemblée Nationale, Invalides, Tour Eiffel, Ecole Militaire... a break for shopping... and wooosh I was back!
I'm a bit broken and I've lost my feet somewhere... but Lola is Frog und Kraut (Fitz's words huh hehe) now**~~*^* * *

Les Seins
Encyclopédie historique et bizarre des gorges, mamelles, pis et autres tétons des origines à nos jours

I'm in the middle of a book (which I recommend!) dedicated to breasts... yup, 350 pages dealing with everything, e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g, linked to boobies!
And trust me it is fascinating.

So many themes .... duel ... eunuques ... geometrie ... griffures (scratches) ... hypocrisie .. position ... portrait ... sectes ... sadisme ... vamp ... censorhip ... canibalism ... etc etc
A cultural/social approach made without voyeurism (though you get lots of pics! lol)
Very interesting book which can make you rilly RILLY shiver or laugh..and learn a lot (like Louis XIV who was known for his royal bites because he was born with 2 teef :P)

Martin Monestier (the author) has also written a few other encyclopedia... including one about the flies (I wanna read it!), another about canibalism (it's oh gawd, forget about it!!!), one about... hairs too!!!
LOL yeah, about hairs. I'm very curious about this one. I've no idea what can be told about hairs!

(I had discovered this book about boobs at Patrick's -mama's hubby, who's a psychiatrist-)

It's not everyday that you get a new Greek friend called Aphrodite and who is as nice as beauDiful!
We're both lost in Elfwood's fantasy world wishing a guuuud generous soul will show us what we're doing there :P
//oO\\
haha!!! Lola's been inspired for her first Papas' Day!
She's found a new (well from 2002) RPG PC game... Warcraft 3!!!

A game full of quests, fights, memorable heroes and terrible dark creatures (happy happy happppppppy sigh).
(I found it on my favorite website for shopping...Martin's company!! hehe... do you know priceminister Jenny?... if you ever look for a book, CD, movie or game....check on it, you can find new stuff very cheap!
... Sowwwy, Martin, but the shrimpette isn't rich enough..not yet!) hehe

Anyway, i'm off to WarcraftLands... a bit late but... we'll have fun!!!
wooooooooshhhh**~~^* *

Sunday, June 15, 2003

After falling asleep 2 times (25% tired, 75% bored), I finally managed to watch the end of the last James Bond (Die Another Day)... Where are all the spices you could find in the first movies? I do my best to find all what makes 007's charms but..... impossible misson!
It was more disappointing than entertaining.
Sooooo, I'm no more a Bond's fan.
Nono, I won't reconsider my opinion!
I know that will break Pierce's lil heart, but it's my last word!

(psssssst Penny One, can you have a cig for me? pullllllllllleeeeeeeeeeeease! hehe)

I've finished taking care of the shrimpette, cleaning, painting... I can enjoy my time now. A glass of wine, goth music (I gotta change that, I need a lil yello submarine again! hehe..), fresh air coming from the window, dark dark night outside, people laughing around candles (lol) in the courtyard... extremely pleasant atmosphere actually... peaceful, zen...

in other words...

...I'm feeling guuuuuuuuud.....**~~^* *

BUT

I'd feel like in paradise with a CIG!!!!!!!! I neeeeeeeeeeeeed a faaaaaaaaaaaaaag!

I'll resist, yeah yeah, but with a broken heart!!!!
hehe

I wonder... if ever i'm walking in the street and one of my excellent *web friends* comes across in the croad... will I instantly recognize him/her and jump towards him/her as if we knew each other since ages (which would be the case!) .... or, will i just wonder why this face is a bit familiar but forget about it 2 minutes later?...
Phewww... I've just finished the drawing part of the 12 illustrations for my children's story!
I've to start with the painting now....
Gawd, it's terribly hard to work 2 minutes here, 2 minutes there... everything takes ages!
(goood *spirits*, gimmme more hours, puleeeeease!)

Tuesday, June 10, 2003

I wonder when our dear Roastbeef cousins will accept using the evil's money (euro :P)
... I gotta say I'm not yet completly used to my euro coins, but it's so practical to "speak the same money" with some other countries!
Like when we went to Hamburg, you rilly see the differences in prices..interesting!
Too bad it's called euro, I would have voted for "ecu" ..
I've watched the first "come back" of Metallica on stage, at Nuremberg.
Oh shiterooooooo, my lil pets are so gooooooooood with their tools (voice, drums and guitar, huh :P)

They will play 3 concerts in Paris on the same day (yup yup!) in a couple of days. Naturally there are no tickets available anymore since ages... booooooooooooooo
So much sun in 3 days! That was rilly kewl :-)))
The freckles are back and I've got enough sun for the next 10 days!
Now I hear some thunder roaring, it's suddenly very dark around... it's so tropical... I luuuve it! **~~*^* *

Lola's 8 months today! :-))))

Lola can sit now without falling on the sides
She can tell many baaaaaaaaaa maaaaaaa gaaaaaaa
She is crazy for remote controls. If suddenly you hear a HUGE noise (from tv, stereo), you know she's playing with one if dem :P
She tests us all the time, checking our limits (so we've to learn to put some! heh)
And well, each time I see her, I hold her, I smell her, I wanna make a dozens of Lolas ! hehehe **~~*^* * *^* ** *^^* *

I had never watched Yellow Submarine before yesterday. Nebber ebber!!!
And I luuuved it!!!! Very crazy, very funny :-))))
I had forgotten the charms of the Beatles' world **~~* ^* *

Oh and I completly fainted when I discovered mr nowhere man. I would have never imagined it this way, great surprise!

I thought transports' strike was organized for last tuesday.. and yesterday again, we've had big troubles to go out of Paris! And I tell you, transports's probbies when you're carrying a baby is not funny funny... I hope they will stop after the weekend (after all the weather won't be that good anymore, good reason for them to start again to work, ne?)... and that people will be able to go to work without problems again.
When I see that, I hope the government won't make compromise about the retirement's stuff. Anyway if the government's proposal is refused then we'll have to follow Brussels' rules, and that would be much worse for the people who're on strikes..

(dancing around!)

sunglasses? on.
suncream? in the pocket.
mood? very sunny.

We're on our way for a freckles'day!!! (=lots of sun, fresh drinks, bbq)
The weather is splendid here, we're going to enjoy the best of it **~~*^* *

Thursday, June 05, 2003

Yeeeeeeehooooooooooo!!!!
Emmanuelle and Arnaud have accepted to be the godmother and godfather for Lola :-))))
And they take it very seriously, that makes me verrrry happy!
I hope the baptism can happen in autumn, that bothers me a bit to attend the catholic preparation cessions, but for Lola, i'll make that lil effort :P

I asked myself thousands times what all that meant to me. Was baptism that important? Yes and no. No because you can live without ;-) ... and yes because in a way or the other I wanna Lola to have the chance to enter some spiritual world. Hmm... it's very hard to explain. I just wanna open that door to her. Then she'll do as she wants, naturally**~~*^* * *^^* *

I just wanted to be sure we would not organize all that just because it's the tradition. Because it was what we wanted.
:-)))

I thought I could do my luggage directly for Heaven (G), but....

The Dante's Inferno Test has banished you to the Second Level of Hell!
Here is how you matched up against all the levels:
LevelScore
Purgatory (Repenting Believers)Very Low
Level 1 - Limbo (Virtuous Non-Believers)Moderate
Level 2 (Lustful)High (yoohooo! I'm here!!!!)
Level 3 (Gluttonous)High
Level 4 (Prodigal and Avaricious)Moderate
Level 5 (Wrathful and Gloomy)Low
Level 6 - The City of Dis (Heretics)Low
Level 7 (Violent)Moderate
Level 8- the Malebolge (Fraudulent, Malicious, Panderers)High
Level 9 - Cocytus (Treacherous)Low

Take the Dante's Inferno Hell Test

PS: my very low score in the purgatory level makes me rilly blush!!! watta shame!
Almost 8 months nursing Lola! Not bad, hey :-)))
But I'm stopping now, I don't have enough milk anymore. booooooooooooooooo :(((
That was one of the most wondeDerful experience I've had. I've got used to be a milk maker (g), that will feel weird in a few days when da breast won't be a mama *tool* anymore.

One of the moments I prefer was when only the breast could calm down a crying Lola. It looked like such a relief for her to feel her mama's warmth and presence that way (happy sigh)**~~*^* *^^* * *

The only kewl thingie is to say bubye to the nursing bras, yup yup. I could not stand dem anymore! Yeeeehooooooooo :-))))))

**no milk today**~~*^* *

Massive destruction weapons (is it how you call dem in English?)
I wonder why they all get excited with the topic. The war was planned anyway, so what..

Honestly I expected The US army with FoxNews and CNN to find a magic box in the middle of the Iraq's desert with the "appropriate" weapons which would have been the proof (according to them)to the world that they had been right.
But they haven't done it yet, let's wait a bit more. (g)
