If I had money to waste (not big lottery, just a few hundreds euros! hehe)... I would buy...

-expensive make-up, just to check the difference with my cheap one
-expensive wine
-2 new pairs of jeans
-a dozen of spring-ish tops
-the new DVD of The good the bad the ugly, which is said to be terrrrrrrific
-a camera
-2 eurostars tickets for a weekend in London
-2 Thalis tickets for a *happy* weekend in Amsterdam
-a lil jewl, a necklace, yes!
-the PS2 game, Baldur's gate #2
-lobsters for dinner
-a pair of shoes for Lola and one for me

Dat's all! (now I'm going to check in my purse, maybe some good spirit has generously listened to my Friday's lil and actually reasonnable requests :P)

I've had to sign my final agreement (bon à tirer) for the book yesterday, meaning : there is nothing to add all is purrfect.
Well, the publishing house sent me that email telling all the corrections had been done and we (the writer and I) just had to give our final agreement.
I told dem I would be kinda pleased to see the last corrections... So they sent me again the files... and no kidding, they had forgotten to add the last corrections: mistake in our names on the cover + graphic mistakes.
Really!
I would have believed dem...oh jeeeez!
Grmmmppphhhhhh
Et voilà, Joe has left for his first cession of chemotherapy.
He looked so well this morning, and he will certainly feel so bad tonight. SIGH. It will be a cuddling weekend, We'll make him forget his chemo, we will try ! RoaaaaaaaaRRRR!

Wednesday, April 28, 2004

Today, my body's warned me... my *supa-top energy cycle* is almost over... Damn!
I can feel it through every bits of it.
I give myself the end of the week, then the weekend to recover and start another cycle....hmm, if it could work that way, that would be kewl!

Weeeeeeee!!!!!
(adding lil suns on my mental diary)... We'll be off to Bretagne for 4 days in May, around the 21st!
Thank Gawd, Martin can take his friday off!
(happy sigh)

Then while we were into the wooopppyyygroooovysunnnyyy *mood*, we decided to organise our summer holidays.
What a luxuary, hm?! well, yes and no. Living in a smaaaall flat is not so funny in summer time. Even less funny when a shrimpette is around. So we're almost *forced* to take holidays, you see.
;-)

If all is fine with Martin's work, we'll have a bit more than 2 weeks, from the 23th of July to the 9th of August.
Where? lol, in *crepes land* naturally!
If you can't stand family holidays, you would hate ours! hehe... The family house will be full and Martin's parents will also rent a holiday house just near :-))))
Dunno but I feel... there's one shrimpette who gonna be terribly spoiled for 2 weeks! (and a couple of young parents terribly free :P ...ermmm free to work on their hobbits' house, that is!)
So FHM's readers (which includes meself) have elected (and that does not include meself!:P) miss Britney as the sexiest woman in 2004.
If i was a man, I can hardly imagine being sensitive to Britney's charms, since despite my efforts, I find none!
I don't say that because she's blondish and get big boooobies! :P
No, she lacks charm and grace, dat's all.

Well, here's FHM top 10:

FHM 100 Sexiest Women 2004 (2003 ranking in brackets):
1. Britney Spears (2)
2. Angelina Jolie (6)
3. Halle Berry (1)
4. Jennifer Garner (8)
5. Alyssa Milano (5)
6. Jennifer Love Hewitt (6)
7. Jennifer Lopez (5)
8. Charlize Theron (26)
9. Pamela Anderson (7)
10. Jessica Simpson (10)

Britney

And here's my top 7 (from FHM selection)...could not select 10! :P
1.Monica Bellucci
2.Liv Tyler
3.Sarah Michele G.
4.Laeticia Casta
5.Kylie minogue
6.Nicole Kidman
7.Kirsten Dunst

Monica Bellucci

And yes, I'm feminist for may thingies, but sexist magazines can be definatly entertaining :P

My shrimpette has slept 12 hours, without waking up!!!!
She's started her day at 10.35 today...! wawwwwww... it feels like Heaven! (running to play lottery...it might be *my day* !!! :P)

We will nebber ebber again spend such a sunny weekend in Paris! Oh nenene.... it's impossible to enjoy a summer time with car and noise around.
The parks were over-crowded during the weekend, it felt like the twilight zone. As if we were on a small planete with very few *green* places. Weird. Not pleasant at all.

So whenever they'll plan such a sunny weekend, we'll just run to Bretagne, even if it travelling often, even by car, finally costs much. We gotta work on the house anyway and it's now or never! Roaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrr!!!!

For women's body and freedom are not to be controlled by anyone or any law, I naturally support at 200% the march that happened yesterday in Washington.
Freedom's really fragile (female freedom more particularly I reckon!)... there's always a wolf at the corner of the wood ready to take it back from you..

D day -60!
60 days, 60 days before we join again Metallica's Madly In Anger With the World tour!
So long and so close at the same time!
Among our friends here, we've discovered with surprise (!) we had already about 10 going there too! weeeeeeeeee :-))
It gonna be the nirvana! (dancing around)

James Hetfield

(such a devilish and *mimi* face!)
Our lucky number again!

For those who haven't followed, I got married on a 9th -of january-, got my baby on a 9th -of October-, etc etc.... and my first book will be available in bookshops on the 9th -of June-!
(jumping around)

The title of it is: "Herman ou la merveilleuse histoire d'un petit garçon hyperactif" (Herman or the wonderful story of a hyperactive (?) boy).

(putting champ' in the fridge :P)
I will think twice before asking to be a cat in my next life...
... simply because a cat's life is not always peaceful!

Joe gonna start chemotherapy next week or so.
The thing is wether it's chemo (radiotherapy is really too expensive for us though it's the most efficient :((( ), and his tumour, his cancer might be pushed away for much longer, or we wait a few weeks and a new operation would be necessary to take off the re-coming tumour.

His scar from the first operation has not completly healed yet, and I don't see at all Joe getting such operations every 2 months!
Another point, *Mr Cuddles* starts to look good again, he does not seem at the end of his life at all.

So 2 option, a treatment -4 cessions of chemo given through injections-, or an inevitable series of operations.
Maybe the treatment won't prevent future operations but we must give it a try.

As for the price of the treatment, it's expensive anyway... but "only" 100 euros more than an operation.
Soooooooo, I call the veterinary on Monday to start with the chemo.

(crossing bits for my *hairy ball*)

Shock again. When I heard (on tv) this man explaining to the women of the village why excision is necessary.
Because if they don't do it, their clitoris would get so long that they could not walk properly with it.
The women nodded.
.....
Then the man said to the camera that if they don't do excision to women, women would be on heat all the time, which was not acceptable.

It really makes me feel sick for these lil girls who have to suffer such barbarity.
And when I see such things happening, I thank the *Universe* for being born at the *right* place, at the right time too.
I must be the last one of Earth (I nebber exagerate) who watched Pirates! As everybody said, it was entertaining, yup!
I wish there was a good video shop around because there are so many movies I have missed and wanna see... unfortunately the video shops around here only offer the X-men or other Matrix... grrrmmmmpppphhhhh!

Among all the lil projects I get in mind, I've planned some months ago to make another quizz, but this time with my own illustrations, as a way to advertise. I need time. time. time.

You are the Goddess of Earth. You are very stable
and dependable since the Goddesses rest apon
you. You are very materialistic. Somtime cold
and distant, but that might be because you need
to get what needs to be done, done. But yet you
are everyone elses strength. You are the most
Stable of the Goddesses, since without you the
other Goddesses would not exist.

New smell to add to my yuuuucky list:

the China Tarry Souchong tea! ... The anthesis of Jasmine tea.

I could smoke it I think (really!), but drinking it has been a torture.
It gets a hmm "urban" smell (whatever it is :P) mixed with an "algae" one. I remember my mama taking bath with algae (it was the fashion at the end of the 1970s, no?)... and the smell of it was so horrible! ... I found about the same with the terrrrrrrrrible Tarry Souchong tea!

Wanna a cup?!
I wanted to make a new painting with something of the moon in it and I've just finished this Moon thief :) ... It's better than my last painting, the talentless Ogers's painting (that I will throw in a drawer somewhere)... but it's not yet like what I had in mind, how frustrating! ...I gotta work work work to improve.

This new painting is rather big (36x48cm) so quite a few details are missing on the screen. And the original is more in the reds (scanners and watercolours will nebber be friends!)

Moon Thief

Do you know the "Ooooopsblushing-feeling"?
The one you get just when (or after) you say something really misplaced or stooopid..?

I've had lately 2 of these ooooopsblushing-feelings...

The first one was when I was talking the other day with one of my friends here who's rather sensuous (not the kate moss type, much more pretty!).
Well, I started to tell her about the day I was looking for whales photos... and that the search engines had first shown me photos of really FAT nekkid women.
Oh Gawd, I dunno, I felt so stoooopid when I said the *fat* word that I changed "women" by whales... and my story was finally pointless, ya see..... huuuuuuuuuu......
(the most stoopid thing is that she would not have taken any offence!)

The other one was when we visited a couple of friends a week ago or so. I was talking about our trip in Hamburg and finally, and with a real sense of drama I gotta say (:P), I told them about our tattoos. Insisting about the HUGE pain of the needles which seemed really ENDLESS, and so and so... till our goilfriend showed her own 2 tattoos, one on the arm and the other on the... bum!
LOL
I felt really stoopid with my lil tattoo on the back!
I suddenly shrank with admiration in front of the courage she had had!
LOL

ohhhh wooooo, I've just a got a lil cheque from our notary... we've paid too many fees it seems! (well that I knew, but I did not expect anything back).
It's not much (less than 300 euros) but lol, that's a lot for us at the moment!

(dancing around)**~~*^* **~~*^*

I wanna mail like that everyday!!!
Funny how much you can hear *evil* in the *GOOGLE* word!
Have you read about their new email service (Gmail) offering so much space?
Even Blogger is spreading the good piece of news:

"SPECIAL NOTICE:
As an active Blogger user, we would like to invite you to be one of the first to try out Google's new email service, Gmail.
Would you like to give it a whirl? YES / NO

Well, thank eww ol' Blogger, but I think that will be a NO ;-)
If you wanna test a purrfect illustration of Big Bro, give it a try me thinks. They say they will keep track of your emails, even those you delete, as they do actually with websites, to send you appropriate ads... which will led to Gawd only knows what.

Martin was telling me this morning that it seems the Yahoo search engine and a few others like Voila were almost reaching google's performance. Not yet but soon I will say a determined bubye to *googling bits*!

Thank you my shrimpette for...

... waking up only once last night (the fact you put our alarm clock to 5.00 am was not really your fault, hm? :)
... having eaten your lunch today. More than 3 lil spoons of whatever is like a miracle to me
... having waited to get your pinkish rubber boots to discover how funny puddles are

(happy sigh)
Yuppp, I don't need much to make my day (or is it actually *MUCH* ? ;-)

Hmm, 10 minutes for blogging, isn't life just generous?!
The last 3 days have been really busy, with a shrimpette in a terrible mood, a painting almost finished, new corrections for the book (sigh) and no time for the rest.
Oh yes, I allowed meself to steal time to do some creative work for Lithium (and thank you Martin for your help on it! I wouldn't have got the time to do anything otherwise!).

On Sunday afternoon, I found myself sleeping for an hour with Lola and Martin playing around. I was so tired. But then, I'm not in a *low energy* cycle... nenene... I feel able to do a lot at the moment. So I try to take advantage of that before the wheel turns again!
RoaaaaRRRRR!
Marine, that I've known for hmmm 19 years now (OMG!!!!) will celebrate her 30th birthday next month. And I need help about the purrrfect gift. So far I've no ideas. Marine is not the conventional type so I want to find a very unconventional gift.
So if anyone gets ideas, they'll be ohhh so much welcome! :P

Marine, who's still working and living in London, has invited her closest friends for a birthday Party in London. Frawgs painting London purple for a weekend. I luuuuve the idea, naturally!
The probbie is that we won't be able to go there. SIGH
London is already kewl for partying visitors, but London with Marine is really something!
Having a special thought for someone who's already *overthere*, may her journey be peaceful and harmonious **~**~~^* **^^~~*^* *

It's 7.00 am (yawning while almost blindly grabbing my cawffee)... everybody's asleep which means I can... work!
The little disadvantage when you *work* from home is that you never really stop...
So let's see, I've to finish the 2 logos for which I've got an order, I've to start to make the final version of the 13 sketches for my second book, to start also with that new painting I've in mind and , (but that is more for pleasure than *work*), I've to prepare different proposals for Lithium's site dedicated to tales.

3.2.1.0 ...wooooooooooosh!

Lola, 18 months-old and already into Playstation stuff (thank ewww mr Lola's Papa ;-)... She seems so concentrate on it! lol
I wonder what she will try next!

Joe, 3 weeks after his operation. Healing slowly in comparison to young cats... but he seems to feel better, that's a sure thing.
.... But.... I'm feeling the tumour coming back under his healing scar.... I'm not completly sure, but I doubt it is something else.

:((

I surfed yesterday on the Washington Post's site, and discovered the faces of the American soldiers who had died in Irak's war so far... Men and women my age! Seeing their faces was just like facing the horror of war. Much more efficient than titles in newspapers.

Then I had a look at Michael Moore's site where I found these soldier letters... Gawd, reading their words really make you feel how much tragic and unjustified is the daily death threat and situation in general for them overthere.

(sigh)

I did not know there was such a difference of price between French dentists and English ones. For a tooth decay, you pay 20 euros here, 75 euros in UK!!!

Well, I haven't paid often 20 euros only wen I went to the dentist, but 75 euros as a basic price is really much.

If you look at the prices of health specialists in UK, or at the prices of houses there... well, then the natural conclusion is that UK is a much richer country than I thought (with dem eating their fish 'n chips, you could have thought it was the opposite!! ;-))

(grabbing my gold digger's hat, jumping into the Eurostar :P)
Today's some special day... the 6th birthday of my devilish niece Eva :-))))

As a purrfect godmama, I should offer her something useful, something that she'll remember for yeaaaaars!
tsssss
No way!
:P
As a purrrfect godmama, I'll find for her some Barbie stuff that will make her eyes sparkle!
hehe **~~*^* *
The other day Penny (the new famous *Aussie-quizzzz-guru*) found a new *word-thingie-quizz* for the DHN blog, and I thought I could put it here in case anybody else wanna play :)

5.4.3.2.1..... you're not answering yet?!!!! ;-)

5: Now look at the clock, what is the actual time?:

Lola's dancing on Melissa Auf der Maur (yeah, and it's not even 9.00 am) !!!!
As soon as a song stops, she asks for more! lol

After such training, no way she will ever enjoy the Britneys or other Justins! :P

I'm now correcting the very final version of the book (with cover, back cover, bibliography, etc.)... and the book will definatly get 32 pages!
Weeeee!!!
The format of it will be small, it's the only thing I regret a bit. 12x18 cm.
Ha well, I don't complain, as long as I can fill the space I've done on my shelves for MY book... I'll be fookin happy! hehe
While surfing, I discovered the really entertaining blog of Alinet... and there I found this lil jewl (thank you, Alinet!)

Smoke kills

...who knows, maybe you gonna think twice before grabbing another cig ;-).... or maybe not! lol
(talking of it, waaaaaaaaaa....wanna one!!!! boooo ooooooooo)

I can't wait for the day when there will be no return to the stressed and polluted Paris!
Our long weekend in Bretagne went extremly well, and not only because we've been *chocolately decadent*! ;-)

With the help of the family, we managed to work quite much on the hobbit's house. I've eaten more dust than ever and my almost inexistant muscles are pretty sore, but finally it feels simply *good*.
I don't know how much time it will take to renovate the house, probably years, but we'll definatly make it our corner of Paradise :)

While Etolane is officially a master of the English language... here's my level.... Shame on me! After so many years studying English...! But (cough) I agree on a point: I do not make any efforts to be a good pupil :P

Student!
You are a STUDENT of the English language!

You are on your way to becoming
gramatically sound; however, you must keep
studying if you ever want to be a master. You
do manage to speak better than most Americans,
but then again, that's not really saying too
much...

How grammatically sound are you?

Just in case you wonder how you can get a virus on your precioussssss computer (because no it's impossible you get a virus, noooo, you get a fooking good anti-virus and you never open the develish email!), then you should ask ol' Candy.
Because she knows how to get inffected! Just caught another trojan horse! Yup! And as usual just while surfing on respectable sites!

(huggling my AVG for having removed that baddddie! Phewwwwww)

The Shrimpette will be 18 months-old tomorrow! It's important in a baby's life ya know! hehe...
I don't know if I should call her "shrimpette" or rather "Mademoiselle NoN" because it's been 2 weeks now she says no to everything! She seems to enjoy a lot that new power of decision that is now in her hands... while I am planting my tent in a world of zenitude to stand the thousands of NO I hear everyday... ;-)

A few days later, I can confirm it, how could I *cyber-live* without RSS wire?!!! It's so so practical and I save so much time with it!
Weeeeeeeee!!! :-))))
I'm a lil bit frustrated with the languages differences to tell you the truth... I would have luuuved that you all can discover Lithium's blog (at least, you Jenny won't have any language probbie...oh, and you too Esox! :-)

Lithium's blog is very creative, open and communicative, a high quality one :)

I also have to add that Lithium gets an excellent 6th sense since he asked me to help him a bit to re-build his already very complete webites dedicated to tales : Canopea and Ourson Bleu!
Isn't that really inspiring? :)))

Big day for my tiger of siberia... I'm on my way to the veterinary to take the threads of his scar off.
Ouch!
Tomorrow evening we're off to sunny (g) Bretagne!
I know, this is very unfair... but we make the appropriate efforts to get it that way (like Martin coming back from work really late so that he can leave for Bretagne when everything's done)

Martin has managed to get his Friday off. That will make a 4 days weekend! Weeeeeee!
We'll be about hmm 10 in the family house, that will make many hands to help us a bit in the hobbit house ;-)
I'm sorry a bit for all of them who will enjoy Lola's cries in the night, but that's how it works with babies, right? hehe...

Our plan for the weekend is smoking planting (!) grass... and if it rains... we'll "operate" the fireplace :-)))
The other day, I had a chat with Esox about cynicism.
We were having fun, sending each other good sharp replies when we realized we'd beDer stop. We were starting being cynical and as Esox said, it's a risky game.
And I've thought a lot about it and I really believe cynicism can turn sometimes into a sort poison that spoils a lot.
When I'm cynic, I do not listen at anybody than I really...
....I do not try to understand or accept any other point, since I *nooooe* I'm right (well I am anyway, no? :P)!
When I'm cynic... I laugh at anything, it's easier....
...and I forget the world might not be as rotten as I could believe

I don't think I'm very very cynic, but a bit, yes, sure thing.
I wanna be careful with that, I don't wanna be bitter and miss the zillions of lil pleasures that life can offer. Oh and and I don't wanna hurt, cynicism does that too, no?!!!

(lol that remind me of an American chatter... you remember "Cynic", Penny?...hehe... she was nice actually! I remember her talking to me on the phone one day while I answered yes yes yes without understanding more than a couple of words! hehe...Good she was not that cynical ;-)

Tuesday, April 06, 2004

Really I wonder what I like the most on the web...

Chatting? Blogging? Playing? Surfing?

Hmmm, I don't know!!!

I started on the web with chat (back in 1997).
I chatted a lot at the time. I spent evenings...nights!... doing it, improving my poor English (French chats really sucked at the time).

Then yes, I really started to surf, feeling kinda overwhelmed by the amount of information that was offered.

During all this time I wanted to try online games. But I had got already addicted to chats, games would have made me *zombi-er* than I was already!!!!!
So I gave up the idea and just found excitement by listening at gamers telling about their parties (lol, how sad, no?! hehe)

Then about more than 2 years ago, I transformed meself into a *bloggoil*. The mutation has been quick and painless ;-)

Sooooo... I believe now that I really enjoy chatting as much as blogging.
Chat is so so kewl, specially when some of your friends live so far that only chat makes them really RILLY alive.
I really have fun on chat since weeks more specially, I rediscover its pleasures (no, no cyber here!!! lol)

And blogging... oh Gawd... I don't specially luuuuve writting about meself and meworld, but discovering so much creativity and sensitivity in others' blogs is just like Heaven. Besides, developping friendly relationship that way is also something unique.

(cuddling Gulliver now :P)
Juan Gimenez... Gimme one of his painting, with appropriate music in the background, and you can be sure I'll be floating in unknown spheres for long long minutes.

He's my painting Guru. I've never tried to draw or paint the way he does, because my imagination does not *sees* what he *sees*. Maybe one day that will change. But this feeling of getting *imagination's limits* is very frustrating.

Anyway, I like what Gimenez does paint and the way he paints. So many details, mixed feelings, different emotions... (happy sigh)

the ladies of madrygin
Yesterday I've worked all day (=2 hours, when the shrimpette slept) about 2 logos, one had to show an artistic dimension, the other a communication or "guide" dimension.
I'll be paid for them!

Now I have to spend some time *photoshop-ping* my doodles. And I'm baaaaad at Photoshop, it's just so easy to ask my other-half in a second what might take 30 minutes for me to understand!
;-)

Of course I gotta make efforts and learn a bit...
...we'll see tomorrow...maybe! :P

Monday, April 05, 2004

I've just finished a little illustration for my encyclopedia... This time it concerns creatures that are always starving and with who you'd never wanna go to restaurant...

Saturday, April 03, 2004

I've often thought about putting titles to my bloggies.
But I don't have enough imagination and I'm way too lazy for that, really... I've also realized the 3 first words of posts in general were usually just fine. No need to add more, I think.
But I rilly rilly admire all of ewwws who put titles every time!!!! (applause)
I almost never make any link to the Dog House News from here, but today's an exception!
So far we're hmmm 6 members posting in the DHN. Maybe some day the circle will get bigger. I hope so, actually. It's so pleasant and funny to share views this way, sending these lil postcards... it's the most alive "forum" I've ever seen finally! We can be proud of it :-)))
et voilà! I'm *wired*.
Getting threads all around me, cybermachine fantasy, R2D2 getting wild, Shirka from the Odysseus telling dirty words ...woooooo.... //oO\\...hehehe

I get my RSS wire now and hmm... I bet that in a couple of days I'll wonder how I could live without it! ;-)

the Odysseus
Weeeeeee!!! I've just received my 4 books about gardening, I've ordered them 2 days ago. It's rilly kewl.
I realize now I only buy my books and dvds via Priceminister... which is kinda funny in a way because Martin works for Priceminister!
...I never think of it but each time I get something there, that means that I participate undirectly to give some €€€ to Martin at the end of the month! hehe

Friday, April 02, 2004

Later today I think I'll be wired (sounds painful, huh?! hehe)... gonna get some RSS wire because finally it seems I will really save time with it! From *webbish* Rennaissance, I'll jump into *webbish* Modern Times ;-)
Joe... 10 days later.
He's doing beder, just not comfortable with his plastic thingie. I can't wait for the day we take that off, that will be a relief for my lil tiger of siberia.
About the scar, it's slowly healing. The veterinary should take the threads off in a few days.
Joe will feel like a young boy again then!
:-)))

Thursday, April 01, 2004

I thought I'd find zillions of jokes about April Fool's day online, but neeeeee ... very few actually!
Here's one of dem :P

You remember the 12 bottles of champ we have ordered for a fookin good price?
We've them since a few weeks now and we've tried the second bottle yesterday evening. With no special reason, no event to celebrate, and while eating French fries.
Sooo how decadent is that, hm?
Supa decandent me thinks! hehe

But, no, we are not THAT decadent ;-) ...It's just that the champ' is less good than we thought (booooooooo). Very tasty, no headache after, but the bubbles are too small, too light and that really makes a difference!
hic!
With my lil sunshine at home, it's April Fool's day everyday :-)**~~*^* *
