Haaaa, M'am Penny, aka ze Phantom, aka ze Ghoslette :P...... has just reappeared!!!!

She's been working almost nights and days on this very complete website Easy-Refills, while Jack and I were thinking she was having the time of her life with chippendales downtown :P
hehehe

I'm very impressed by the amount of work there .... now let's all cross bits so Easy-Refills turns into a big success!!!
RoaaaaaaRRrrrRRR

Tonight is la Fête de la Musique all around in France **~~* *^^* *
The concept is that once a year everybody is allowed to play music everywhere, in the streets, at home, etc., as long as they want till the end of the night.
We'll go just around to see if there's any guuud band, but I think Martin would rather take the opportunity to play urdy-gurdy and bagpipe (smiling while giving a glance at the ceiling...poor neighbours :P)
I really should have bet a few $$$ today! Footie matches happened almost as I thought they would (sowwwy Jack, but I always win my bets, except when France plays ;-) :P
I was a bit surprised by the way Brazil played, even with only 10 players. They might win the cup!
I think Germans must be surprised that their team goes that far in the cup, it's really great for dem :-))

Now I cross my bits for Korea and Senegal!
The advantage when *your* team loses at the world cup is that suddenly all the matches look interesting :-)

I've heard this morning people talking of footie as the new symbol of Peace between the nations!!!

LOL !!!

(and why do people always need a *symbol*, hey?)

I think no sport brings more violence in the streets than footie! It might be a kewl sport for the fans, right, but a symbol of peace...//oO\\
the Buderfly is 5 months today!
I can't realize there's only 4 more months to come and woooooosh, she'll be around!
Yeeeepeeee:-))))**~~* * *^^* *

wat a cuttie :P

Ohhhh waaaaaooooooo, I did not expect Spiderman to be that guuuud!
(actually, I thought it would be the opposite).

We're just back from the cinema and we've really spent a kewl moment! Spiderman is muuuuuch better than Batman or really worse, Superman!
hehe
It was often very funny and the actors were great! Oh and it felts a lot like the original comic, the spirit of it was there!

Martin enjoyed it too (:P): "very well done, with much humour. With a very sympathetic hero, not like some stooopid clark kent. It was so pleasant that it could have been 30 minutes longer".

Tuesday, June 18, 2002

I've spent my last euros to buy books today.... a huge and very complete (and expensive!) book to improve my english skills at translation (I have decided maybe I could start to work as a translator). I might follow extra courses next year to be really guuuuud for that job :-))

Then I found 2 books to improve (or rather to revive) my Spanish... I've studied it for about 6 years and I think I really *need* to re-start with it. It would be a pity to lose it!

And finally I found 2 books to help me and my almost non-existent German :P
One book for children like "my 1000 first words" (s), and one book of grammar which should be useful... one day! hehe

I've a good opportunity right now to *study* again, and that's exactly what I'm about to do :-)))
huho....Argentina, Portugual, and now la Squadra.... "we" ' re feeling far less alone :P
I regret Japan lost though, I was starting to enjoy that team!

I cross my bits for Senegal (they play tomorrow, no?), they're pleasant to watch!
I also wonder about England and Germany, both could win I think... hmmm

Ohhhh, while I'm talking footie...... for the first time in my life (waooooo), I heard Beckham talking..... hehe.... hmm... I shouldn't have!!! He's a real footie heroe but I did not expect such an acute voice! It somehow did not suit the guy! lol, that was too funny:)
Ohhh but I've not said in here that the babe I expect is a mademoiselle!!!
hehe

Ouiiiiii!!!!!

Everybody (except Gwénola) expected that the babe would be a boy. They (friends included) really thought it would be a boy!
Actually, we had started to believe it too because on the day before the scan we had repeated aloud a series of names for boys and girls... and each time we said a specific name (of a boy), the babe kicked in the belly!!!!
That happened successively 2 times and I called Martin on the third time for him to check, and that happened again!!!
hehe

Sooooo, we thought it would have been really a "sign" if confirmed by the scan (s)

But nenene, as soon as the babe appeared on the screen the doc said *it* was a SHE :-)))))**~~* *^^* * *^^* * *

We're both extremly happy (as we'd have been with a boy) and we've started to talk a looooooooooot to her!
(-laughing- as she is moving right now as I'm typing!)
What a guuuud weekend we had in Hamburg!!!
The weather was really fine there (not as hot as in Paris!!) and we managed to see all those we wanted to! (it's always a kind of marathon when we go there, in the way that we gotta check which relatives and friends are available, when we can meet, etc.).

This time, as I could not walk much or spend too much time in the transports, we mainly spent (a ferociously guuuuud) time with Martin's parents :-)))
On Saturday, Martin's cousin, Zonke (I'm not sure of the spelling), came to visit us and introduce us his goilfriend, Anja... Anja has just learnt she was preggie too! She'll have a baby in January! Woooo oooooo!

And in the evening we came to visit Thorsten and Tanja (friends)... Tanja is preggie (!!!) and her babe is due in 3 weeks!

That's fun because last time we all saw each other, we had talked of everything but having babes! hehe
Guud synchronicity (s)

Talking of babes, Martin's parents offered me 2 dresses for preggie goils :-)))))
I start to seriously *need* them... since about a month I feel my belly is getting bigger each time I wake up in the morning!!!
I've had to tell adios to most of my trousers and at home I only feel very comfortable in a bikini (which is also due to the very unpleasant heat since 2 days).

Anyway, it is wonderful to see one's belly growing that way, and the round shape of it is very fun!

Now I can't wait to see the belly button popping out! hehehe
(well, I can wait actually!!!!)

Ohhh jeeeez, the rendez-vous at the national agency for employment was not that fun. But nebbermind, I forget that right now ;-)

I have my sunglasses on the nose and almost a foot in the plane (s)
Since our visit at the clinic yesterday, I'm the happiest in the Universe!!!
It feels so guuuuuud to be a woman, and to be a *mom* !!!

dancing around**~~* *^* *^^* *~~* * *

Tuesday, June 11, 2002

What a busy day tomorrow (I had started to forget how such a day was ;-)
I start with a rendez-vous at 8.30 at the "national agency for employment", then a bit later, back to prepare luggage to leave for Hamburg (where we'll spent Friday, Sat', Sunday), then woooosh to the clinic, then woooosh to visit friends we have not seen since weeeeks!
If I don't have cramps, it should be a kewl day!!!... a bit stressing too, for different reasons, but stress is not always baaaaaad :P
Grrrrrrrr!!! My last painting has been rejected from Elfwood by one moderator (probably a rican :P)... here is his/her reason:

"Sorry, but some of the items you chose to submit to Elfwood was not accepted by a moderator. We have deleted them from our storage space, and you will recieve a copy of all removed items in a separate email.
blue_lagoon.jpg is too explicit and will not be published!
==> blue_lagoon.jpg was REJECTED! Reason: Too explicit porn or violence."

"porn"..."violence".... no kiddin! A certainly frustrated moderator!

What a barbarian attitude! Great I have this webpage here to express myself in the most free way! :-)))

Monday, June 10, 2002

I've tried my whale-ish swimsuit yesterday! And it's wayyyyyyyy too large (victory scream here!!!! hehe)
Anyway, we've been to the swimming-pool then jakusi (happy sigh). It was a bit expensive but very relaxing!

The only probbie was the chlorinate in the jakusi (LOL, that sounds a lil posh :P).The water was so hot that the chlorinate was rushing massively into your lungs. I'm still having a headache from it!
I'm a little nature, rilly!
Waaaa, I spent the day working on my c.v....huuuuu....
It took me the whole day 'cause I had no idea how you call my job and how to define it, because my job is not extremely precise. I found a nice title that represents well what I can do: "assistante polyvalente"(I don't translate it because it sounds far less guuud in English :P). It means basically I can adapt to many kind of different projects.
Been a hard day, trust me :P
Oohoh, Martin just showed me a great tool (no nooo, not wat ya think!!! tssss)
Have a look at this BabelFish thingie.... very practical for quick translations!!!

see: Os diamantes são os amigos os mais girls'best
(diamonds are the girls'best friends! in Portuguese!! hehe!!!)

Saturday, June 08, 2002

Okies, I've finished a new painting, *Blue Lagoon*, which I rather like!
Martin finds it quite sexy (shaking head), though my aim was basically and innocently to present two blooooe-blood creatures, posing like statues! Yup yup
It's almost the first time I see some improvement in my way of drawing a male-ish one!
It's a good beginning at least! hehe

Friday, June 07, 2002

Have you ever imagined the feeling when you gotta buy a swimsuit for preggie goils, hm?!!!
Lemme tell ya what it feels like... well...hmm....it simply feels like you are about to occupy (making huge circles with arms) muuuuuuuch space!
I'd rather turn into one of those tiny fish than into some imposing whale....huuuuu

A fine week that ended in a strage way.
Martin's company is having probbies. Not that the business isn't good enough, but they are linked to a big German group which want to get rid of that French branch.
Argg.
Well, we'll know about it before the end of the month. I just can't imagine both of us without job right now, it is not possible.
Martin's going to start to look for another job... but all that is not the piece of news we expected. Shit.

Joe and I loved this one ;-)

I hope the weekend will be warm enough for some wet times at the swimmingpool!
I think it's the only real exercise I can do safely. Since yesterday morning I'm having cramps again and I think just swimming might feel very guuuuud and relaxing for the babe and I :-)))

I really can't wait for the moment I can type "he" or "she" for the babe.
Emmanuelle told me it was a moment I should really enjoy. She remembers hers with immense happiness, she says it's like the second stage after learning you're preggie. The babe you can see on the scan is a real lil human, and knowing if it's a goil or boy pushes you to talk and to share more with him/her. Just because it feels more real :-))))
Waaaaaaaaaa, I just *noooooe* what she means (happy sigh)**~~* *^^* *
Haaa Footie.... the Frawnch played so badly again, which was not that surprising after their first brilliant show (g).
You really wonder if they can still remember what's a goal :P

Anyway, now I gotta change all the bets I made... and I put 100$ on my other team, the German tigers! RoaaaaaRRRRrrrrR!
I won't watch the games, just the results though...It just takes too much time for very little pleasure ;-)

Monday, June 03, 2002

So far it's been quite a busy day!
I've spent da morning calling several administrations to take rendez-vous, then I started with my German intensive lessons (s). Well, I've been learning to count only, but from 0 to 1000 ! Now I'm supposed to pronounce and write all the numbers well, and it's not easy, trust me... when you get a "sechzig" (to be pronounced like "zech'tssich) to repeat 10 times, you're happy not to wear a "set of false teeff" :P
hehe

I've also had time to start to read those new books I've found and to work on drawings. So far I'm into "male studies". I'm studying all the body parts... the right proportions (s), etc. I am unable to draw in a realistic way, but that helps me to feel more comfortable with da male-ish subjects :-)

Okies, I gotta take medication and wooooosh I'm out to breathe fresh air!
Yeeeeepeeeee, Marine and Lionel (those crazy French living in London) come to visit us tomorrow evening!
I should thank the UK Queenette because with the celebrations happening, they just found the opportunity to come back to Paris for a few days!
Weeeeeeeee:-))))

When they learnt I had to be more than careful with my pregnancy, they offered to bring me all what I needed (heavy stuff...like liquid stuff...juices, etc ).
How kewl from dem :-))))

laaaalalalaaa**~~* * *^^* * *^^* *

Sunday, June 02, 2002

I hesitated a loooooot before including that new painting to my gallery because I'm very angry with my hands at the moment. Troooe

I have found enough books in the last 2 days to get all the technical advice I *need* to improve. Even if I'm told my paintings are nice, I'm not happy with what I do in the way I feel unable to draw what I've in mind. And I get frustrated :P
I have inspiration, oh yup, that I have... but it's not enough. I find what I do far too naive, lacking real work. That's it!

Soooo, wish me guud luck, I'm on my way to work hard as long as it will be necessary! And I won't publish any other work before getting satisfied! RoaaaaaaaRRRrrrRR!
**~~* *^^* * *^^* *
What a beauDiful Sunday!!!
So warm and sunny, let's hope the coming week will be that way.. in every way possible (s) **~~* *^^* *
Phewwwwwww........

which Episode II character are you?

Probably the greatest Jedi Knight of all. Like Obi Wan, you are wise and keep your feet on the ground at all times. You will not be outsmarted by anyone. You are always faithful to your friends. Be careful though, danger lurks around every corner - you could even be betrayed by those closest to you.

Haha!! Obi Wan KenoCandy !
I would have really hated it if I had been Yoda or "Ani" :P
Which era in time am I ?

Which era in time are you?

I could have hesitated between the wild 13th century and the stormy 18th....but 2002 suits me far better! :P

Friday, May 31, 2002

Tomorrow Christa and Achim (Martin's parents) celebrate their 40th year of wedding!!!!

**~~* ^* * * ^^* * *

And they really look as if they married yesterday (happy sigh). I wish the same happiness to everyone (including me :P)
**~~*^* *
Yesterday, all the people from the company gathered for a last lunch :-)
That was pretty sad, people finally left wishing each other to have "good holidays", as if it was just a lil break...
(sigh)

:(((

And today I've received my "redundency notice"... well, I prefer bday cards (s)
I'll spent my whole next week at different administrative bureaux to officialize my personnal situation. It gonna be boring to gather the right papers, etc, etc.
(sigh)
Viva Senegal!!!

The Frawnch deserved to lose! Mwaaahahaha!
If only that could stop the fever here about footie! I watched the game while painting, it was so ... soporific!
I asked myself if I found it really boring because we did not win or because footie has neber been exciting....

Let's see....You wait (I don't know how long is a match) for about 1.30 hour for wat... 1..2..3 goals (if you're lucky!!)
Waaaaa
Rugger is wayyyyyyy more entertaining! :P

I hope the next games will be of a beDer quality :-)))

Wednesday, May 29, 2002

Ohhh I've been a bad mouff about that aperitif yesterday in the the hall of the building!
It was organized by an old lil couple, the most adorable persons! :-)))

The doorkeeper had prepared many yummmy goodies and everyone had brought enough to drink for a whole week! :-))
hehe

There were real kewl goils of my age, one being also preggie (G), also some weird -but nice- couples, and a family half-french/half from New zealand (strange cocktail, hey!).
The mother told me her brother lived in Oz and she could have the best adresses for cheap flights, etc!!! She also insisted we'd be welcome at her bro's if we ever go to Melbourne!
How nice!! I would have nebber guessed I'd find guuuud plans for Oz via neighbours! hehehe

We spent just 2 hours there, but that was brilliant. I highly recommend this concept !!! :-)))

(I think) I've felt the babe moving!!!!

It feels like bubbles, but not bubbles I am used to! bubbles that goes from right to left or down to up!
I'm going to observe carefully that belly!!!
:-))))
**~~* *^* * *

Tuesday, May 28, 2002

It seems everyday there's something to celebrate!
And today is the "Immeubles en fête" day (meaning buildings are partying, or something like dat).

This celebration has started a couple of years ago I think, and the aim of it is that you meet your neighbours.
The concept first looks bizarre and boring... but finally it's a guud idea (though still a bit boring ;-).

Someone in every building takes the initiative to prepare an aperitif and invite all the neighbours for a drink. That way, neighbours can meet each other at least once.
Soooo, we'll make a jump there and say hello with the most delicious smile to all dem nasty lil grannies ;-)

Ohhh changing topic, I've spent quite time on audiogalaxy today and I've just found an amazing version of Ave Maria.. by Nina Hagen!!! hehe It's very baroque:-))
I really enjoy finding new version of classic pieces made by the most unexpected artists!

Monday, May 27, 2002

Tadaaaa....It should the last time I come to work today!

Now I totally see it as a guuud thing cause I'll be able to start a new *chapter* and... to take care of my bellybits!

Since I've been to the clinic the other day, I worry a bit, my belly keeps hurting, and I don't want to take any risk, of course.
Hm, I gotta follow Jack's advice and behave like a princess, lying down, being fed with grapes (hehe, funny image).. relaxing as much as possible (s)
That should not be too hard to do ;-)

Oh! Gwénola (sister) found a job and signed last week! Today is her first day :-))
She will work in an association which play a role (which, I don't know yet) in the boat races.
She works in a lil wooden house on the Seine, that looks terribly fine :-)))
....but....I'll REALLY miss bothering her everyday!
(S)

Talking of jobs, I'd beDer go and check if I've won at the lottery of last Sat'!
(G)...
....wooooosh!

Saturday, May 25, 2002

Haaaa new painting's done and scanned!
I still have probbies with the red colour, it does not give the shades required, so all what contains red (yellow, purple, brown) do not show as I expect! Argg!

Friday, May 24, 2002

I'm just back from the clinic :-)))
The scan of the "second quarter" will be on the 12th of June! Yeeeeeeeepeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!
If we can see well the babe, we'll know if we'll have a princess or a knight :P
Laaaaalalaalaaaaaaaa**~~* * * *

We have no preference, really. I just know that for us it's wayyyyyyy easier to find a name for a goil than for a boy (s).. And nenene, we won't tell the names we have in mind :P

I've heard the babe again today (his heart beating and his movements inside)... awwww, it was fantastic, I'm so surprised that there is such a lil treasure down inside me!!!**~* *^^* *
(happy sigh)
The Gyno was surprised though that my uterus is actually very low and should not be. He said I gotta be very careful and behave as a preggie goil! ...which meant I gotta stop any kind of exercise, including walking too much or going upstairs and downstairs too often!
//OO\\
I told him I had reduced a lot my activities, but he answered I had to be specially careful ....otherwise... from the 6th to the 9th month I'll have to stay lying down..
Eeeeeeeeeck!!!

He thinks I've already had some little contractions and gave me a big list of medication to calm the belly a lil bit.
From what I understood, the babe will keep on pushing a lil bit till the S-Day.......so the higher the uterus is, the better, and the less active I am, the better.
huuuuu

Anyway, I'll be even more careful and I think I won't go dancing too much (siiiiiiiiiiiiiigh)
The guuud point is that I stop working, it's exactly what my belly *needeeeeeed* :-))))

Ohhh I've been told that from now on I should be able to *feel* the babe inside!
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
So far, nothing... but when it happens I think I'll simply faint into some hysteric and ferociously happppppppppy lands!
**~~* ^* * * ^^* * * *

Thursday, May 23, 2002

28 years-old since 2 days (happy sigh...hey it's young! ;-)
Ohhhhh I've decided in a real "dictator way" (g) that my bday was not to be over on yesterday but that it will go on for the whole week (poor Martin :P)

I've had a wonderful Tuesday, during while Martin treated me like a queen (as usual actually! me lucky one!)
First I had the best piece of news when I went to the clinic in which I had forgotten to "book" a room for Ze S-Day (birth :P). Usually the lists of preggie women booking rooms are quickly full and I was not sure it would be simple to get one. But it was!!
hehe
Yeeepeeeeeeee, I won't be left in the middle of the street on the S-Day!

Martin came back home with 28 beauDifuuuul roses and offered me 2 "seventies" trousers he had made on the weekend (you can't find them in France at the moment, only in Germany). Waaaaaaa I was so happy!!!
Then we wanted to go out for a drink and restaurant but I spent my evening on the phone answering relatives and friends who had remembered my bday! I was astonished because I have the baad habit of forgetting people's bday !!!!... I gotta take notes of the birth' dates of my friends and relatives, rilly :-))))
hehe

So Martin and I will celebrate dat bday again tomorrow evening and another time with the family on Sunday. Haaaaaaaa, happy moment, happy week :P !

That illimited cinema card is really brilliant!!!
Yesterday we went to watch Star Wars -Episode II- The Attack of The Clones (woo, that makes a long title!)
The atmosphere in the cinema was really kewl, we were surrounded by fans :-)))

Monday, May 20, 2002

As I was telling in the DHN, it's been a discovery weekend, we went to cinema twice and had two guud surprises!
Well, I *knewww* I was to enjoy these movies because before I read lots of critics from people who went to watch them (no professional critics from magazine). From the positive and negative critics, I almost always manage to get the idea I need of a movie.
I enjoy feeling that way how a movie will be because it's just not fun to waste time and money to watch a flop :P

Sooo I went first to watch Le voyage de Shihiro / Spirited Away, which I wanna see again because there are so many details in it, so much creation (with the weirdest creatures you can imagine), and then we went to watch K-Pax which I really recommend; I keep asking myself what is people's interpretation of the K-Pax' end... but no one I know have seen it, damn! :P

I wanna see the last Star Wars, I think it will be really kewl (I enjoyed a looot the last one), even if I worry a bit about the love story they've put in it (which you don't really expect going to watch such a movie :P). They say it's to attract female teenagers (rolling eyes)... hehehe!
I've finally included the pics of the last few sculptures I've done.
I start to think that working on images with Gulli is far more difficult than making paintings or sculptures, it took me maybe 3 hours just to be able to prepare these pics for the web!
Huuuuu, it feels guuud when it's done :P
And today is a special date! .....hehehe :P

Friday, May 17, 2002

Hmmm, I'm being in a strange muud right now. Feeling a bit down.

Being at home like that just feels unappropriate. I should be enjoying free time, but I think I have to get used to that.
I won't be working for months and I fear to lose all my capabilities for a future job, to feel a bit useless, etc. I worry for money too, but I know, who does'nt?! (s)

It's just like being put aside, forced to *summernate* (should be the opposite of hibernate, hm? ;-).
I have to get used to the situation, that's the point :-))

Thursday, May 16, 2002

Such a bewwwDiful weather outside (with almost 30°c), that I hardly found time to sit behind the Gulli !
Anyway, I managed to add a painting, which was really hard to scan, because of its size and original colours. The result on the screen is "ok", but again the colours are different and you really can't see details. Nebber satisfied, hey!! ;-)

Wednesday, May 15, 2002

Wooooooooo, I'm ermmmm....yussss.... in weekend!!!!
No kiddin!
That's too unfair for all you hard workers around, I noooooooooooe !!! (But I've been told today that legally I'm not forced to come to work till I'm fired, because I'm ... preggie!!!
//OO\\
Sooooo, I said I'll be go to work on mondays only and for the rest of the time.... nada!
I'm so tired right now I can hardly believe it :-))

I guess I'll find time for blogs tomorrow, hey ;-)
(happy tired sigh) **~~* * *^^* * * *

Tuesday, May 14, 2002

Huuuu, much electricity in the air around here at work. People stress and get nervous...
...including me (!!), I've had a shaaaarp talk with da boss, and just now another one with our accoutant.. shiteroo! I'm about to sock him one, I'm not even sure he understands Franch when you talk to him!
And I'm usually the patient type!

Anyway (s), I've just read 2 guuuud jokes that instantly turned me into the most giggling mood :P
Exactly what I needed :-)**~* *

The expectant fathers

Four expectant fathers were in a Minneapolis hospital waiting room, while their wives were in labor.

The nurse tells the first man, "Congratulations! You're the father of twins!"
"What a coincidence! I work for the Minnesota Twins baseball team!"

The nurse returns and tells the second man, "You are the father of triplets!"
"Wow, what a coincidence! I work for 3M Corporation!"

The nurse tells the third man that his wife has given birth to quadruplets.
"Another coincidence! I work for Four Seasons Hotel!"

At this point, the fourth guy faints. When he comes to, the others ask what's wrong.
"What's wrong? I work for Seven-Up!"

**~* * * *

The Rope

There were 11 people hanging on to a single rope that suspended them from a helicopter trying to bring them to safety. Ten were men; one was a woman.

They all decided that one person would have to let go because if they didn't, the rope would break and all of them would die.

No one could decide who it should be. Finally the woman gave a really touching speech, saying how she would give up her life to save the others, because women were used to giving things up for their husbands and children and giving in to men.

All of the men started clapping.

Monday, May 13, 2002

I've just arrived (1 hour late) at work, and what do I hear ?
we stop working at the end of the month!
"this is the end ...(balalam)... my only friend...(lalam)... the end"

But I also learnt we can benefit from "social security" for 4 years after we stop working. That was 1 point that had me worried because pregnancy finally "costs" a lot :-)
That's already a good point!
"Can you picture what will be...(lalala)...So limitless and free (If only!)"

hehe

Sunday, May 12, 2002

Ohhhh I've spent a reaaaaaal guuud week!
Absolutely yes, cause I've won 3 times at the trivial pursuit! (laughing) ... Well we had not the best weather this time, soooo, in the evening we all (the house was full this time) sat around the fireplace, some tasting the best of the best liqueurs (rum+ginger, yummm!!), others screaming victory when winning games :P

Eva was also there, in a very cuddling muuud, what an angel she is! She spent her time caressing my belly asking if I needed her help to make the babe go "out" ;-) hehe
She already has much success with boys, she has given the biggest kiss to a boy her age (4 years-old) who was playing near his parents' boat! Well, I think the boy had no choice actually ;-)
Rilly, at 4 !
hehe

Anyway, the weather here in Paris looks fantastic, which a bit is motivating when you've to go back to work. I really wonder how it gonna be there.. If there is no work to do at all, I hope at least the web connections will work, so that I can start to check all the administrative steps I'll have to deal with... eeeeck! I promised myself I wouldn't talk of it today!

(washin mouff vigorously)

Sunday, May 05, 2002

With more than 82%, it's a brilliant victory!
What a relief :-))))
Champagne!!

The fact we apparently all took seriously the political threat and imagined the worst could happen really motivated the crowds :-))**~~**^* * *

(I've finished with my political chapters, no worries :P)
Weeeeee!!! I just got a message on da mobile from the doc, no risk of trisomia 21!!
Yeeeeeepeeeeeeeeeeee!!!
**~~* *^* *dancing around!!!**~~* * * * * *^^~~* * *
Now yesterday we went dancing in a fest noz till about 3.00 and woooooo, my belly hurts now! I should have taken the medication!
But the dances were so fun!
It's just that you have to jump all the time to dance a scottish, a mazurka or a gigue! Ha well, that will make of my babe a very active one! :P
Back to a rainy Paris! Argggg, it was so sunny in Bretagne! Great I'm back there in a couple of days :P
Okies, I went to vote and now 40 minutes to wait before getting the results.
It's very stressing for everyone around, we've imagined the "impossible".. if Le Pen wins, it's nothing less than a civil war here! I almost smile typing this because it sounds soooo surrealistic...:)
That won't happen, thank Gawd, but you never can tell before. I have no confidence in people, in their choice, soooo...(starting biting lips here).
To be so close to an evil political situation at least makes you think twice about the future.
Okies, now 35 minutes to go. We'll be *in the streets* tonight whatever the results are! RoaaarrRR! hehe

Waaaa, holidays seem to be highly motivating :-)
In 2 days I've made 2 new sculptures (a record for me!), one of a girlie dragon keeping her 3 eggs, one of a lazy dragon boy sleeping on his back.
They're drying right now, maybe I'll have time enough to make another one before coming back to Paris **~~*^** ~~*
Those presidential elections worry me. I still hear people telling there's no need to vote because we already know the results: "the extreme-right party won't win anyway".
(shaking head)
Well as long as the demonstrations are representative of the votes of next sunday.. 1.5 millions in streets to defend human rights yestertday, 10.000 to support the extreme-right party!
A good point for Democracy :-))

Monday, April 29, 2002

Just before leaving for Bretagne, I went to the clinic for my monthly rendez-vous:-)

*We*'re doing pretty well it seems** ^^^**~~hehe~* *
I managed to hear the baby moving inside thanks to some high-tech thingie!
It was beauDiful :-))))
The doc said he/she was moving a looooooot inside and adviced I start to take some medication to relax da belly and that I get a bit less active (which should not be that hard :P).

My weight has not changed at all, which is a relief, but since 2, 3 days my belly is clearly in mutation!
woooooooooooo! That had to happen somehow, hey ?! hehe
When I touch under the belly button, I can now feel a round and hard thingie inside, it is such a bizarre and pleasant feeling! You can't really see anything yet, people wonder where I am hiding the babe (s)
Well, "they" cannot see it yet, but I can, I tell you ;-)

On Saturday morning, on our way out of Paris, I stopped at the "American hospital of Paris" which is specialized in many fields, including the "detection" of trisomia 21, to make this blood test. It's the second (standard) test I do for trisomia 21 and the doc should call me in a few days to give me the results :-))

Sooo, that's it for the last news about Candide the future mom :P
Candles the goil is doing very well and having great time away from Paris ;-)

First cawffee, first blog...waaaaaa
and it's Friday... and I'm on holidays in 3 hours!!!
(jumping on da desk, poking tongue at bloody routine)
OooOOooolè!

Such a fine day....I could almost be jealous of my case //oO\\
hehe

Well there are things that could very easily spoil my day...like, hmm, the 3 burning letters I've got yesterday (tax+tax+tax).
I won't open dem before the end of the holidays!
Isn't life simple sometimes ;-)
OooooOOooolè!

Now my day would be rilly purrfect if I had news from da famous *ghostlette* (aka Mizz Penny) :-)
What do you do when your cat gets *fleafleas* and that he has the baaaad habit to sleep with you all da time!
Hmm..

I realized Joe had fleas the other day (easy to notice, as he is all white), when I was cuddling him (or vice-versa).
Damn, and he sleeps in the bed! Whatever we do, he always join us in the middle of the night to sleep on my neck or against me under the covers!
Bad habit I know... and worse now he has fleafleas!

Well, he has had a treatment now (and is in baad mood since then), I cross my bits so that it works!

(that was probably the least interesting blog I've ever sent! hehe I'm beating records... aplaudd now, puleeease! :P)

Wednesday, April 24, 2002

Argggg, I start to feel tight in my trousers!
Later, I'll have to medidate in my HQ (bathroom) about which strategy to adopt (scratching invisible beard)...

(gettin up)

Captain Belly and Officer Boobies, I warn you, you'll have to train hard dem lazy soldiers...'cause neither excesses nor dissipation will be allowed, understand?!!
Break ranks now!

(falling down on my chair :P)
I see in my crystal ball the nicest end of week! Yup yup!
Look,..
...today, I leave work earlier so I'll have time finish a new painting..

...Tomorrow we have the visit of Martin's aunt and cousin, Gisella and Frauke (I'm not sure about the spelling); they are the most lovely and pleasant persons you can imagine! We're going to take them to a yummy French restaurant!

...On Friday, I have rendez-vous at the clinic for my "monthly rendez-vous", I hope to hear only guud news (crossing bits); I'll have to remember to book a room for Ze Big Day :-)

...Then on Saturday, we leave for Bretagne (when we should have left for Brisbane!!! Waaaaaaa:-((( )
I have 2 weeks holidays, but as Martin will have to work a few days and as I will have to vote again soon, we'll have to go back to Paris a few days.
Anyway, these holidays are the cherry on the cake, I'm very excited to relax //oO\\
hehe

Haaaaa, I can smell a certain revolutionary perfume in the air!
(not looking for Mr Guillotin's invention though:P hehe)

I find it somehow brilliant that suddenly everybody feels it is more than a duty to involve a bit into politics !
I think on the 5th of May (second round to elect the president), there will be a memorable score of participation :-))

This situation we're living at the moment was somehow necessary, people finally react! Yeeepeeeee!!**~* *
Even my sister Gwéno (who even prefered talking mathematics rather than politics) called me the other at about midnight from one of those demonstrations!

After all 17% of voters have voted for extreme-right (which is too much, right), which means 83% are in favour of Democrates. Who will say FrawgLand is racist, hm?
Phewwww, I'll kick the bums of these ones anyway :P

We've an invitation to a political meeting tonight with my political heroine of the moment (laughing), Corinne Lepage (who only got 0.5% of the votes...arggg)
.. I should be going there.. but .. I'm not yet enough motivated to spend time in that, soon maybe ..:P
As for the next demonstrations in the streets, I've often done that, been there... I would attend the big ones of the 1st May..but we'll be in Bretagne.. so I'll demonstrate on the road from river to the bbq :P
hehe

Monday, April 22, 2002

I woke up with my blood boiling (not the Spring's effects ;-)... ----> Politics!

For the first round to elect the next President, it's been almost a disaster!
The best scores are for Chirac (the conservative Party) and lepen (extreme-right party)!
What a shock for all of us, what a shock for the socialists who are disappearing from the race!

It's not dramatic though, because on the second round, Chirac will probably win with 80% of the votes against 20% for lepen.
Democracy is safe.

Why did the extreme-right got such a score? Because all the campaign has focused on security, media are very responsible in that. Second reason, quite many people from the 2 traditionnal parties (conservative/socialist) did not think important enough to go to vote.

And that makes me want to bite... all these people who do not care about politics, even less about voting!
30% did not come to vote. Now they complain that an extreme-right party marks a good score. It is almost the fault of people who 'do not care' about politics!
It's so irresponsible! (sowwwy, but that makes me maaad! :P)
Does it require so much effort to take 15 minutes to go voting, hm?!! Arggggg (my blood is now at about 100°C, still rising up ;-)... Voting is the only little power in the hand of people, the only opportunity we have to change things or to prevent extreme parties to get too important.
But people did not care..

...till today!
That's somehow a very good lesson; nobody expected that it could happen, everybody said 'my vote would not change anything anyway'. Hah!
(shaking head)

Now I hope we'll all be voting when we're given the opportunity...
...and well, lepen should enjoy this little victory, cause in less than 3 weeks, his political life will be simply over!

So many emotions for a Monday morning!! Rilly!
:-)))
hehe
Phewwwww... I'm allowed in the Bloooe Zone again!
(dancing around)

I can understand SOMEHOW (s) they don't want people to be too rude in there... everybody's adding a "fuck" after each word would be boring.
I regret a bit though that "clit", for instance, is considered as slang. It's not, isn't it?!
But then... compuserve (aol)... you can't expect anything not very politically correct.

Now I don't understand why I've been kicked out and not the others who were worse than I!
That's discrimination! And I've had enough of the 'discrimination' topic since yesterday evening ;-)

RoaaaaaaaaaaRRRRRRR!!!

Saturday, April 20, 2002

Haaa powerpuff goils (les supers nanas in French)!!
I love dem! I have even one as "key ring", yup yup :P

Which PPG are you?

I woke up this morning without coughing and I screamed VICTORY!!!
hehe
....while Martin was opening red eyes and stretching painfully an arm to grab aspirin...awww.... I will be the Doc for the weekend!!! :-))))

We went early out before Paris got busy... it was brilliant!! I bought tons of fruits on the marked...strawberries, pineapple, kiwis (did you know that you can eat kiwis but the vitamine C in them is under such a 'shape' that we can't benefit from it?), grapes and bananas...then at least 4 kinds of different salads, they smelt so guuuuud!
<--- will turn into a rabbit before the end of the weekend ;-)

The whole streets around are celebrating "Bretagne" today, and it was great! Much music (bagpipes, shawm, bombarde, bignou!)... and there was this little terrasse just in front of a guuud band...it was only 9 and I felt like having a huge beer! hehe ... Martin with his lil expresso opened big eyes but he knows that you gotta please preggie women or they get into a baaad muuuud :P
(laughing)

Ohh the sun, the smell of the croissant, the music around and dat beer! The day started rilllllllly well!

(...till I got kicked out from compuserve, but t'is another story ;-)

Friday, April 19, 2002

What a lovely evening we had in this Italian restaurant!!! Talking 'bout men and babies!
The goils spent their evening asking me about what I feel being preggie, if I will give milk to the babe, etc etc.. We laughed a lot talking of that, I think the guys felt really bizarre to be witness of our intimate questions and remarks 'bout being a *woman* (S)

Then we started talking about men (G), one of the goils has had a very tough experience....the typical tough experience ya know... the man having affairs, leading several 'lifes' since years, etc. And when you know the goil, very pretty and fun and witty, you can't imagine how a guy could do that to her. And the pain is so strong that she can hardly talk of it.

I'm not to blame guys today (lucky day, huh), cause there are too many exceptions to make a real theory ;-)
But if there was some advice to give, I'd say if some guys need harems to prove themselves anything, then right, why not ! :-))... but the least they can do is warning the goils they're part of a *harem*..:)

I won't tell more about the topic today, though.... it's an endless one :P

Hehe, sorry guys, sometimes we just *neeeeeeeed* to support our sistas... the pain for them is sometimes so strong, we gotta share it..:-) **~* *^* *~* * *

Wednesday, April 17, 2002

Did you know that on the 17th of April, if you give enough hmm..attention, you can clearly hear Angels singing overthere (pointing towards the white clouds)... BeauDiful voice they have, beauDiful **~* ^* **^* *^* * * *
Yesterday evening, Charlotte, a goil from school, contacted me (via the web) to ask what I thought about celebrating the anniversary of our "bac" (the final exam at school, when you're about 18 years-old.. I guess it corresponds to the English A-Level).

Charlotte was following the "Economics" courses (all what she learnt was linked to economics).
I was following the "languages and philosophy" courses (which had a kewl reputation, but a bit too kewl, nobody thought we were really working hard! ... well, we were not, but it's not the problem!)

And then there 3 other categories "mathematics and phylosophy" courses (yuuuuck), "mathematics and physics" courses (mega-yuuuuck), "biology and physics" courses (bucket's full ;-).

We all studied everything, english, maths, philo, latin, etc., but according to our main subjects, some courses were harder than others.
Like for me, mathematics were so easy that I've nebber loved so much maths than during this last year! hehe

It's been actually 10 years now that we passed this "bac".
My first reaction was to think such a reunion with people from school is sooo sooo... I mean you feel old when you start to gather with schoolfriends to see how they are now, and to talk inevitably of the past years.

Then I thought "only 10 little years since I left school"!
After school, I spent 4 (too short) years at University, then I started to work.
I only work since 6 years (and me who was ready to retire :P)!!! I'm more a newwwwbie rather than anything, hey :P

Sooooooo....well....I feel young today! Yeeeehhoooooo!!!... (dancing around)

That will be fun to see all the goils (with their boyfriends or hubbies :P), their new wrinkles (Gawd, do they have some already??)...Mwahahaha :P
...and we might try to contact the nuns who took care of us at the time... hehehe... That would be some kind of surprise :))

I just hope they will organize this party quite soon, it's just that.... in a couple of months I should be as round as a giant jelly belly and I won't have anything to wear except potatoes bags you see... It would be te-rrrrrrrri-ble ;-)
hehehe

Why is it so hard for women to find men that are sensitive, caring and good looking?
Because those men already have boyfriends....

hehehe....I have personnally 10000 different answers to that question, which would not be in favour of men anyway :P

I just need a grog, a warm bed and a few couples of hours to sleep (s)
And I have 2 good excuses for that, my cold and the lack of activity at work!

People here talk all the time about the fact Gwéno and I are fired, they've been really shocked by that. Certainly because they're sad for our situation but probably more because now they know it might happen to any of them whenever.
They all see the activity getting slower and slower and logically they ask themselves many questions about the future of the company. I have answers about it that I don't want to share, it's not my role anyway.

Most of them have worked here their whole life (for 25, 30 years!), I guess how much they stress about a change.
This general stress I feel around makes me feel more peaceful about my own situation... (It is terrible to find one's peace in others'stress, isn't it!)

There are times when I project myself in a near future and I get pretty nervous. You can't always avoid stress and nervosity.
And then there are days like today when I only care for the present moment **~* ^* ***^* *

If only I had not that cold!!!
Each time I cough, I feel sowwwy to disturb the bambino who's comfortably sleeping in me!....(s)
I knew I had to stress a little in a way or the other :P

Monday, April 15, 2002

Yesterday evening, we tried 2 new games at the playstation (yeah Life's hard on Sunday evenings ;-).

I can't remember the name of the first one, but it's a "personnal shooter" game, the first mission is in Alaska where your plane has just crashed. You and your team is lost and you gotta find (what remains of)the plane to get in touch with the authorities. Of course there, you are attacked by the enemy and oh gawd, the enemy is tough! Why is it that their weapons are always loaded and that yours turn empty in 2 minutes! What a stress but what a training ;-)
Martin and I are *virtually* excellent lil warriors :P hehe

After that, to relax, we tried a game I found last Xmas... Harry Potter (G)... hehe... well, it must be a game for 10 years-old (maximum) bambini because everything is explained, when you fail, you can re-try as much as you need, etc. I love it!!! I've already won once at Quidditch, I've beaten Malfoy at his nasty games and I've succeeded at a mission given by Hagrid :P
It is really well done and troooly funny! I will finish dat game in the week, yeeepeeeeee!!!
Today's a Fantabizooby day!!!
Eva, my *goddaughter* (you really say that in English? "godchild, godson, etc."? how beauDiful!) is 4 years-old today!
I called her before leaving for work this morning, her mom brought her the phone to her bed (s), she was half-sleeping, half-over excited by this special day! hehe :-))

At school, they will celebrate her birthday, with a party, cakes, balloons, etc. And tonight she leaves for holidays with her mom for a week... you can imagine how much she is happy!
(smiling sigh)

I know finally nothing about the Palestinian/Israelian war ... both should have territories and live in peace with their neighbours, right.
I don't think we'll ever learn from wars, what happened will happen again and again. We must be stoopid or something.

Reading the news today, I've noticed other European demonstrations in favour of Palestinians. Which is good.
But a demonstration "in favour" of someone, is always "against" another... and I fear that the media who use Sharon as a target... slowly start to use the Jews in general as a target. And everybody will think that is normal.... nope, we never learn from the past, huh.

Anyway, let's hope both Israelians and Palestinians find Peace very quickly. Enough of the violence.

(I had to tell a word about that, I simply had! :)

Friday, April 12, 2002

The blessed day has come!!!
(dancing around)

I'm making a lil break here, lots of work and also some time spending on the web to check what administrative steps I'll have to do once unemployed... (here, once you know you are fired, you have the right to use 2 hours/day at work to take care of such matter... not bad, hey :-).

Anyway, being preggie and unemployed is not the best situation you can imagine.
Though being preggie is the most most wonderful state! hehe :-))))

I actually can't look for another job before almost the end of the year... or I can look for one without telling I'm pregnant (it's officially allowed), but soon I won't be able to hide my belly (s), and I don't know 1 company who would employ a preggie woman.
Soooo administrative steps already bother me, but it will be fine :-)))

Ohh changing topic, have I ever said I was crazy for the (japanese?) game Mah-Jong ??
Well I am :P ...and my other half has just offered me 1 mah-jong computer game!!! Far better than those you can download!
Yeeeeeepeeeeee!
I will break all the records! I don't know when I'll find time for that, but I will :P
hehe

I have never played with a real mah-jong game (ya know with all the pieces in wood)... I wanted to buy one once, but they are rather expensive and .. in 3 dimensions, it looks much harder!
The other day, I read that in Japan the workers who work in places dedicated to Mah-Jong receive a kind of money compensation because specially because of the noise from the players! hehehe, so I play in the right way...screaming when I win! :P

Okok, I'd better run and finish with work...2 hours left and wooooooosh !

Wednesday, April 10, 2002

Huuuu... it took me almost more time to work on the pics of the lil sculptures I've done than making them really ;-)
Neeeeee... I spent hours making dem!!
Soon the results will be as I expect ... I gotta be patient :P

If I lived in Middle-Earth, it would be in:
The Shire

The rolling green hills, the springtime weather, and especially being surrounded by the ones you love makes the Shire a comfortable area for you. You love being surrounded only by the ones you care about, and you only desire this in an environment that is vast and open to nature, unlike in the cities or the caves.

Tuesday, April 09, 2002

Okies, I've just got my letter and I'm officially fired ..... hmm ....as expected! :P
The first time I receive this kind of letter ... strange feeling... I hope I won't make a collection of dem ;-)

I'll be *free* on the 6th of July, I think I'll make of that day my own Independence Day ! hehe

I'm ok with it, I know I'll stress later anyway, so better not start too early ;-)

Monday, April 08, 2002

I almost feel *baaaad* for having slept that much yesterday! Well… almost :P
A couple of hours after I woke up, I went to lie on the bed to answer a phone call. While I was talking, Joe came to sleep on my belly, and as soon as the call was over, I naturally did like Joe : slept as I hadn’t done in ages (ages = a week)!
I say it’s the fault of Joe, creature of baaad influence ;-)

Since yesterday, I should be in my 12th week of pregnancy … 3 months! Already! Time is really running!
Physically I feel (ok, pretty tired) rather fine! There have been no change, no extra-mutation ;-). All the blood tests I did went well :-))))

Now I have to start to take care of different administrative stuff, like “booking” a place at school for the babe!! No, but can you believe it! If you wait that the babe is born, you already knowww, you will have to wait 2 extra years before your babe can be registered in a school! //oO\\
They say in the papers that since 2001 France is the european country in which there are the most births! Even more in comparison than for Ireland.. That’s a real change cause for years the births situation was not improving at all!
All that is very fine but, see, that makes schools over crowded ;-)

Anyway, I’d better find some books about all that, I know nothing of what has to be done, I just know there is much to do already!

Saturday, April 06, 2002

I was thinking of a fine way to tell we've just won the 6 nations cup....
you know....a not too arrogant way....(that would be far too French).... or am I already being arrogant?
Damn, t'is complicate!!!!

ok:

44-5 against the irish, we've been just specially lucky, hm?

(biting a wood spoon, running all around the flat, chasing joe who's chasing Martin, making the strangest sounds of hysterical happiness!!!!)

hehehe

Friday, April 05, 2002

Those Fridays are really blessed ! What a pleasure to arrive at work keeping in mind you’ll leave 4 hours later!

... Even if it’s not been easy today to reach work!
Since yesterday evening there are probbies with the metro (tube) I take. They say the traffic is blocked because of a “passenger accident”… which is the formal way to tell someone committed suicide on the rails. And there are so many “passengers accidents” at the moment, it’s really weird.
Of course I don’t think there are “good or bad” ways to commit suicide, but jumping on rails when the train is arriving….rilly!… t’is such a violent act! And how terrible for the train driver…. and those who gotta clean the rails after…
Eeeeeeck!
Hehe sorry, it’s just that suddenly being a ‘rails cleaner’ sounds like the worst job on earth!

Talking of job, I expect a letter today in which I’m told I’m fired (good to be that close to the boss, at least you know what’s happening ;-).
This letter will explain that for “economic” reasons, they have have to get rid of me. Gwenola should receive the same letter, what a family synchronization ;-)

I joke because Gweno and I are ok with it, it’s been so long the company is having probbies that we got very used to this idea.
We’re going to be the first ones to be fired, better we leave quickly actually than being the witnesses of a worse situation.

So, if the letter is as I expect, I’ll be told my last day at work will be the 6th of July (you can’t be fired just like that, you have 3 months’notice).

Any negative points to that? Hm, yes of course. I love the people with who I work, specially the 2 goils Annick and Françoise, we’re a very fine team, hard workers (yup, hehe), complementary ones and we share the best jokes :P … and my job, when there were not such probbies, was quite fine…. And well, I think it will be a lil harder to find a totally new job after having the babe :)

But the positive points are not baaaaad at all ;-)
I think I will spend a fine (the finest!) summer (G) + I will be able to enjoy totally the last months of pregnancy + I’ll have much time to work on what I love, etc etc… yeah I will have *time* !!! Yeeeeeepeeeeee

Finally….. ---> **~* dancing around the Fattie Candy Boogie*~* ^* *

Thursday, April 04, 2002

These 5 days in Bretagne have been really relaxing! We had sun and it was warm enough outside, I would have felt better, I think I’d have jumped in water for a swim!

I was doing well but on Monday I woke up without voice, and when I say without voice, it’s that not a single sound came out of my mouff! //oO\\
Imagine 2 days without speaking.....!
That was weird I tell you! .. and very frustrating for me!

So only today my voice is coming back, a real broken voice but at least people understand me! Phewwww, one more day without being able to blahblah and I’d have felt rilly down :)

Now I’m back and it’s almost the weekend, isn’t Life Brilliant!
I’m going to make a series of tests before the weekend and fill all the boring papers to “declare” officially my pregnancy **~* *^* * *

Friday, March 29, 2002

I'm almost jumping in the train, leaving for the 5 next days to the Bretonne coast (happy sigh)

Ohhh I've seen and heard (his heart) our Babe today!! a BeauDiful Babe of 54 millimeters who got many lazy attitudes! hehehe
We are doing very well, I'm so relieved and happy **~* *~~* * * *

Thursday, March 28, 2002

The pain is gone! Haha! :-)))
Gawd bless my *teefguru*, 5 minutes after he had finished with me, the pain just disappeared!
It was simply magic, I felt so relieved!!! I’ll have to ask my *bellyguru* (gyno) if I can get any injection in case of emergency with a broken teeth or something. You never know … (crossing bits and touching wood though!)

So I came back home quite early yesterday, early enough (and happy enough!) to train with clay again :-)
That was so kewl, the air was warm, I could work with open windows and that makes a difference!
I prepared myself (materials, clothes, music on, fresh fruit juices near) and started to work on clay for 4 hours (happy sigh).
Joe was sittin on the table where I worked, he kept watching what I was doing (s)… Gawd, I wish he could “speak human”, or that I could “speak cat”, he always seems on the point to tell something!

I love it when the days are that *productive* (I should rather use *creative*), it happens so often I have 20 different ideas in mind and without deciding with which one I’ll start, the day is over or the bloody inspiration gone!

If I’m still in the muuuuud, tonight will be a painting cession evening, I know already since a few days what I wanna paint, I found how I wanted to “organize” the painting , I’ve worked on how the baaadie will look like, now I just have to work on details about 2 other characters, I gotta find the lil thingie in dem that will complete the painting.
And when I say “work”, it’s really not far from that actually, nothing comes to me just like that…unfortunately :P
I have to imagine why I paint such a scene, what is the story behind, what I wanna tell in this precise scene, what the characters have in mind, etc. And it’s exactly the same process with clay :-) **~* * *^** *
30 hours and 13 minutes before the scan… weeeeeeeee!!!!
I hope they’ll find the babe in my belly !!!… the more I look at it (the belly), the more I ask myself where the babe is hidding … hehe… I know I know, stooopid. But I can’t help wondering:)

Wednesday, March 27, 2002

Today won’t be the purrrfect day I imagined, I woke up in the middle of the night with a baaaaad toothache…Gawd, I know exactly which little teeth is harassing me, fookin one!

While the pain was growing, I imagined myself as a nervous shark or zen crocodile… lucky creatures, they have beauDiful teef growing during their whole life, taking the place of those who are not good enough anymore (jealous sigh).

I managed to get a rendez-vous at my dentist-the-butcher in the middle of the afternoon today, he somehow understood I was to DIE if he hadn’t accept!

All that bothers me, I can’t take anything to calm the pain, not during the rendez-vous, not after. Or only very light pills that have almost no effects :-(((
(trembling in my boots)

Anyway, except my toothache and headache, the sun is shining hard outside and I think it should be a ferociously guuud day for everyone that can smile without pain :P

Monday, March 25, 2002

eeeeeeeck.... my reputation, my egoooooooooo!
After work, Gwéno told me the others (at work) had been talking about me (my belly), saying it was really wonderful that I'm getting a lil belly of pregnant woman, etc etc!!!
eeeeeck!!....."a LIL belly" ......//OO\\
(running to check in every mirror around)
noooo!
It's a mirage! (shrugging) I've lost weight..tssss... It's my pullover, see... tomorrow I'll wear whatever tight enough to show I've nothing of a ball, not yet!
hehe

103 hours and 30 minutes before the scan, am I impatient or something?!!

Sunday, March 24, 2002

Finally we're having a totally sunny weekend !
The sky is so blue that with some 15 more degrees, we'd put a swimsuit and be on our way to the beach (the closest beaches are in Normandie, at less than 1.30 hour by car... reasonnable, hey!)

So far it's been a guuuuud weekend, we started it with a great movie (Monsters & Co), we spent our Saturday out and found a lil present for Joe (g) ... a travelling bag!! hehe
A very comfortable one, so that next weekend we can take him with us by train to Bretagne! Better than waiting 5 days in the the deserted flat :-)))

In a few minutes, I'll be on way to try to make a face with clay, I've already done one, but I need to get used to it.. specially to make noses, I don't know why, but it's the most difficult part to do!
It will be my third work with clay (here's a pic of the first one)

First day of Spring, even my shadow feels wonderful **~* *^* *
(wondering if it’s the first day of autumn –looking at my feet- down overthere ;-)

The sun is not particularly shining, but it’s getting warmer. The flowers are not really out, but it smells better (happy sigh) **~* *^* *

I gotta say, today is all the more special as it’s today I’m officially preggie since 2 months!!! (if my biological inner clock is working well, that is :P)

I’ve spent my last evening on the web, looking at special webpages for preggie goils…
“magrossesse.com”… “mamanbisoo.com”, etc… hehe
Oh it is wonderful, you are given so much information!!! I have learnt a lot!
The forums are great there, women and goils sharing their experience, giving each other advice, zactly what I (will) need :-))))
I wondered why I had not felt so far anything in my belly, not even a little ball you know.. well, they told me it won’t happen before the 4th month!… talk about patience!
Hehe

I’ve also watched lots of pictures/scans of foetus that are about the age of mine…(huge smile)… I could not believe my eyes… and still can’t! The foetus does not look anymore only like a tadpole! You see it’s –also- a baby!
Magical **^* * *~* * :-)))

Anyway, 9 days to wait before my scan. I’m getting a bit nervous, no, totally nervous!
“What if” they don’t see anything / the shape of the foetus is not normal / they notice a probbie, etc!
But *whatifs* are nasty lil thingies. I will keep my imagination in my pocket and only focus on drinking milk and eating fruits :P

Oh wawww, what a Sunday!
I woke up at 9.00 and fell asleep at 11.00 !! After 2 hours I was literally broken! hehe...I slept till the end of afternoon, can you believe that!

Anyway, after we went to that concert of System of a Down (the tickets were a Christmas present from Martin :-)).
It was wild yup, but so funny!
We found seats easily (I did not want to spend the whole evening without having the chance to sit when tired, me fragile thingie :P).
While waiting for the concert to start, I started to notice the t-shirts people around were wearing. Kinda over-provocative...
....but talking of provocation, Martin got the big award!
hehe
Yuss, once there, my so pacifist hubby took off his leather coat and showed me his back.... with a huge smile ... the kind of smile that means "you gonna have a shock baby" (g)

And yess, I tell you, I had the shock and laugh of my day!
On his t-shirt was written (in red):
"Fuck you,
Get out of my way,
I survived the Full of Hate Easter festival '93
"

(trembling in my boots!)

//oO\\
Tssss, gawd I was really astonished! hehe
And he really went to that festival! It was a tour with 5 heavy metal bands....hehe .. of course it is not meant to be a violent message to anyone (but the "Society").

The atmosphere at the concert was really guuud, full of new/post hippies.. they would not harm a fly, and they'd even take care of it..hehe :-)))**~~* *

Friday.. the most promising day !
And I don’t only say that because we finish work at 12.30, nenene :P

Work work… What work am I talking about? Since a week there is hardly no work to do.. that’s actually scary, you feel you’re wasting your time, losing your capacities, etc.
Haaaaaaa , thinking of it, those stressing days were delightful !!! (well...kiddin!! hehe)
It is actually the lack of noise around, the phone that remains more and more quiet that is most bizarre. 10 more days like that and there will be high chances I meet a ghost at the corner of my desk (mind you, ghosts are good company).

Even if the activity is getting slow, I am not to waste my time! I have started to learn HTML language and I try to practice it now. Then I will start with German. Then I will start with getting info about how creating your own company with no money in the pocket (s)
So much to learn, no way I can waste my time :)

Anyway, the weekend is most welcome, my bits are a unusually tired at the end of the days
:-).. I gotta gather some guuuud energy to start my actually very busy next week! :P
RoaarrrR!

Who said English was an easy language?
Certainly not the French (s)

Maybe you've heard of it, but probably not...
Yesterday an Airbus from Air France which was going from Toulouse to Paris got a lil technical probbie (a fuse burnt out) which forced the plane to go back to Toulouse.
When there are such probbies or alerts, etc., the language which must be used is English.
So the French Captain told the French guys from the control tower : "Fire on board"

But..(g)...The French guys from the tower understood "Five men on board" and immediatly the super high-tech military planes were launched, the prime minister hurried back to Paris, etc etc... In a few minutes France was ready to deal with a big terrorist alert.

hehe.. really....Oh I don't blame them for I personnally easily understand the contrary of what I'm told in English... But hell, they are "professionals" ;-)

Apart from the absurdity of the situation, the positive thingie is that it's good to know defense staff is quick to react :P
hehe

Because of the situation at work, I have to hurry a bit with papers and prepare myself to any eventuality.
So I asked the Doctor a written confirmation of my pregnancy ...
...He has written that I'm officially expected to be *busy* at the clinic on the 20th of October !!!
(happy sigh) **~* *^* *
I really ask myself how he can be that precise... I have not passed any special blood test about it...
Anyway, I'll trust him :P

I'll be confirmed precisely when having a scan, in 3 weeks... but at least ... having a date in mind makes it a lil bit more real :-)))**~**^**

For a few days and just in the next street, there is a market selling the most yummy products from different regions!!!

This morning, we could not resist anymore (well, the market started yesterday evening only :P) and bought Corsica products!
a wild bore ham :-)
a dry saussage of livers (that we have to hang up for 3 days again before eating)
a very strong cheese (we asked for the most stinky one)

We've tried the ham and cheese....SantamariaJosephMariamagdalena!!!.....I'll make a lil prayer tonight to thank Gawd there are such gooooodies on Earth!
hehehe

And tonight we have rendez-vous with Arnaud in the Quartier Latin at the 'Dromadaire Gourmand' (*Greedy Dromedary*), a Northen African restaurant which seems to have an excellent reputation.....!!!!

Do preggie goils get a stomach instead of their brain sometimes.....?
LOL....nope!
It's just that...just the name *greedy dromedary* makes you so easily dream ..... and drool :P
When I read the newspapers yesterday, I was surprised that many people look at the *Journée de la femme* (females' day) rather as an hysterical caprice to defend women positions/rights/etc...against men!
I caricature a bit but I also saw and heard some men -and women- rolling their eyes and sighing when they had to give their opinion about this special day.

The Spanish women were desmonstrating in the streets telling that last year in Spain there had been more death of females due to violence at home than due to the big evil of the year "Terrorism"......
Yup, tortured women must feel relieved terrorism is well pursued ...
( "Anaconda Operation"...lol... really...!!)

I don't understand how some people might just "sigh" when just on one day they are reminded that the most basic rights (working, freedom of love, speech, freedom over their own body, etc) are simply not allowed in many parts of the world.

Finally cats and dawgs are often luckier

hehe
I don't exagerate!!!

....discrimination due to sex.... it sounds like another century on another planet.

Ohh hehe, while coming back from work, Gwenola told me she had bought a lipstick to Eva (who will be soon 4 years old)..
Eva had insisted really really much ..hehe
So since a couple of days, each time before going into her school, Eva asks Gweno to put some lipstick on her lil mouff...(s)....and you know what Eva asks every time?

"Will the lipstick resist the dummy, mommy?"
hehehe
no kiddin... she has invented the concept of dummyproof make-up!!!
**~* ^* * *^^**~~* * *
Yeeeeepeeeeeee, that is a major victory !!!
Thank Gawd the Irish propositions against the right to abortion have been rejected!!!
The Women's Day will start a lil better than usual **~~* * ^^* * *^* * *

Wednesday, March 06, 2002

Today the Irish government is holding a referendum to intensify the law against the right to abort.

I could not believe my eyes when I read that. I was almost jumping on my chair thinking finally a referendum was organized there to allow Irish women to abort !!!
But it's simply the opposite that is happening :(

Let's wait for the results... but I fear another blackhead is growing on m'am Humanity's face (a baaad thing cause lately her face has not been the most lovely one :P)
There have been so many tensions at work lately that I feel like unable to be stressed by it anymore. I have reached the limit, I feel kinda dettached, losing my job sound completly logical now ... and I gotta admit... it would even be a relief.

I actually can't remember the days (if there were some) when I woke up in the morning, happy to go working. I'm sure though it's been that way, years ago...
Ha well, I'm passionate for anything but work, that bothers me a lil bit. I wanna this specific energy back:)

Call me Mizz FruitsBasket, puleaaase :P
I 'm serious actually (as usual, rilly)... I've just read in "9 Months" magazine (a magazine Gwenola has just given me! :-) that *something* (let's say a *nest*) of the size of a mandarin was taking shape in my belly at the moment!
Next month, I should have a grapefruit!!!
Hmmm... now, just the sight of watermelons and other giant pumpkins makes me tremble in my boots!
{is not very brave

Mwaaaahahaaa.... what happened to the *Dream Team*, hm...?!!!
20-15 for the Frawnchie bums against the Roastbeef ones...bookmakers must have gone very pale!
Now I don't mind losing against Irish or Scottish....well, we've done our job! :P
Laaaaaalalalaaaaalalaaa
Laalaa
Hmmm...thinking of it, I would mind a lil bit losing against the Irish ;-)
