Tonight's a quiet night. All those who came for dinner have left and the rest of the family as gone to sleep on the boat (lucky dem, there will be fookin kewl fireworks to see on the river!).
Martin's reading the last Harry P. sitting in a huge armchair, drinking some gratte-cul (fookin tough kind of beverage) while I'm writing my bloggies near the fireplace.

(happy sigh)^**^~~^*^^** * *

Lola is 9 months-old today!!!
weeeeehoooooooooooo
But I've no new pics to show for the event (booooooooooo)

She is now 69 cm for a weight of 9 kg (I *nooooooooooe* why my back hurts now!).
Everything is going ok for the shrimpette.

She can now try much more new types of food, which is great (i'm fed up with cooking carrots and peas!) ..
What else?!... ohhh ohhh

(jumping around)

she now wants and asks in her own way for REAL CUDDLES!!!

yeeeeeehoooooooooooooo!!!!**~~**^* *
Have you ever wondered what it felt like to sing along with Mick (Jagger)???!!
No? Me neither... till tonight!
Because YES it has just happened !!!!!!!!
(fainting)

I've tried to forget all day that half of my family (on the side of my papa) was attending the Stones'concert at le stade de France (where I had seen dem a few years ago...phewwww!).

...and suddenly at 10.00, the phone rang.

(..........)

and it was Mick singing *you get always get what ya want* (my type of lyrics! hehe). it was very VERY loud! And the audience sounded completly "in the song".

Gwenola called me with her mobile and she held it for a few minutes just for me.
Mick and I have had a fookin kewl time!
thank you Gweno!!!!!

(happy sigh)**~~^* * * *

It's been about 2 weeks Martin awakes in the middle of the night because he has violent pain around one of his eye... I've kicked his ass this morning so that he goes to see a specialist TODAY! So he will (when women ask something, hey..! ;-)
He has a rendez-vous at 7.00 pm, I hope the specialist will find a way to help him!
**~~*^* *
yeeehoooooooo!!!
I've just finished a new painting, and I RILLY wanted this one to be done before leaving!
I'll put it online next week, because THAT can wait a bit :P
It's an SF painting, and I really enjoy the genre (Juan Giménez being my SF painting guru... I wish I had his hands!).
I think in a few weeks I'll separate my gallery in 2 parts: one for Fantasy, the other for SF :-)

Monday, July 07, 2003

And I gotta add m'sieur Jack to the high circle of *vocagrammarbulary gurus* (just waiting to add you in it, Penny One! :P)
Thank you Jack!!!**~~* ^* *

Sunday, July 06, 2003

I've just finished correcting all the lil mistakes in the English version of my Dragons' story, and I've to thank m'zelle Jenny for her very precious help!
People almost never take the time for such help, but Jenny did! **~~*^* * *^^* *

Saturday, July 05, 2003

Behind Candide-the-wine-drinker and Candles-the-doodles-maker was hiding a delicate and sensitive creature able to write stories for children!
(yes yes that's moi, I swear it :P.. hehehe)

Forget the illustrations you gonna see (my scanner won't forget though, I tell you!), and discover "Why do dragons breathe fire"?

Thursday, July 03, 2003

Phewwww... I feel somehow relieved because I knowwwww why I get almost no chance to sell on ebay right now!
Because so far I'm the only visitor to my shop! LOL
There are very few categories in French, and no adapted at all for my paintings (I'm classified in classic paintings/antiquities...! hehehe)
So well, I'll suggest them a new category and we'll see :P

Lola making faces ALL day at the moment (I call her my lil leprechaun ;-), I just had to put her Lola Jekill and Lola Hyde's picture :P

Tuesday, July 01, 2003

I can't imagine end of next week we're in Bretagne...till the 28th!
Yes that sounds like paradise... specially when I compare with last year when I was as round as a jelly ball, when I already had contractions, when Martin was also losing his job, and when I had the worst toothaches!!!
That was a bit heavy huh.

But this year is ZE year! I even feel I might win lottery soon, it's a good sign ;-)
What will I do first with the $$$? I'd find a huge expensive farmlike house or castle and invite those I love for REAL holidays! RoaaaaaaaaaaaRRRRRR

Anyway, till I win the lottery, I already get these holidays. Fookin kewl.

I will naturally bring my liliputian one (laptop) with me to follow my biz websites, and to update my bloggies regularly (yup, you won't get rid of me that easily :P)
I should not have done it (it's like not the right moment to spend happily $$$ :P), but I've just bought the last Harry Potter!
I should receive it in the next days, hopefully before I leave next week for Bretagne (where I wanna *swallow* as many books as possible! :-)
Haaaaaaaa
Haaaaaaaaaa!!!!
A young austrian goil has just sent me an email telling how much she hated my paintings!
She was getting mad at the "innocence" shown in dem.
About 15 lines explaining me why she hated my work. Don't you find it weird to take time to send such an email?
I mean when you like something, when you find something interesting, when you think you've a good piece of advice to give, you might take time to tell it. But when you hate something... you just don't lose time telling it...!

I don't care, but...(cough).... rilly I prefer compliments! hehehe
Who said criticism was constructive?! :P

(tapping foot while waiting for some world recognition of my lil art :P heh)

Sunday, June 29, 2003

Who said faeries were lovely and sweet creatures?
Well, actually they are... though buDerflies really doubt about it:P

And you don't understand a word of what I'm saying huh?
Then have a at my Barter! ;-)**~~*^* *
We've just visited Arnaud and Pauline today. Arnaud is the future godfather of the shrimpette :-)))
And they're about to join (well, on next february!) the extended circle of *newparentssoonstucktoshortnights* !

Arnaud seems to wonder a lot about his role as a father. How will he manage to create a relationship with the baby during the pregnancy, how will he find his "place" between the baby and the mom, etc etc.
I don't find it that easy for men. But not more for women! hehe
Hmmm, I think during the pregnancy it's important for the future papa to be able to caress the belly, to talk to it if he wants, to try to feel the baby moving and to follow his/her movements. I mean it's important to feel the baby "physically". Because blahblahs are not enough.

It must be a bit frustrating to not be caring the baby. But at the same time, if I remember, I managed to put words on every "physical" sensation I was feeling during the pregnancy. So finally it was not my belly anymore. It was our belly. Hehe **~~* ^* *^^* *

Communication and sharing is the secret, don't you think?

Tadddddddddaaa...!
I have sold a print, I have sold a print!!!!

Ok, i don't wanna hear anything after I tell it's my mama who bought it (hehe), she's a customer like any other!
And she knew all what i had "in stock" since months, but when she discovered the *sunny awakening*, she ordered one instantly!
So it's done, 35 euros in the pocket and a great print in the hands of Beatrice (let's call her that way :P).

Ok, let's see, the invoice is done, I've put it in my account book (lol, second invoice in 2003)!
I'm gonna be rich!
RoaaaaaaaRRRRR
Is it me or something but....

... I've got an house wife question today (yeahhh, dat sounds terrible!)
... ok, let's go:
How much do you weekly spend for the basic shopping (food, house products, etc)?

Because I'm trying hard hard hard to reduce my expense in that field. I do spend weekly about 100 euros, despite huge efforts!
That includes wine and everything but it's still 100 euros!!!
Shiteroo!
Dat's my lil probbie of the day...

At least they deliver everything for that price!

Wednesday, June 25, 2003

If you're curious about *sunny awakenings*, have a look at that ;-)
Since monday morning I feel like a horse in a race... yup!
Maybe it's because I've started my week with this play-group for Lola. One hour with about 30 babies around is enough to consume your week's energy!
I don't feel really tired, just *speeeeeeeeeeeed*!
No way to go to bed before 1.00 am, usually now it's more around 1.30.
I feel one day I'll wake up with the need to sleep 24 full hours... but in 2 weeks we're on holidays, it will be purrrfect to re-load the batteries :P

Monday, June 23, 2003

Someone has just sent me an email about my website. She saw I was working on the children's story project and.... simply said my style was not adapted at all for kids.... that it was too.... AGRESSIVE!
I tell you... sometimes....
Had to reply I did not use to draw nekkid bums for kids
sigh

Talking of bums, i'm in the middle of a new one (hehe), working on a new painting :)
HAPPY sigh
;-) **~~*^* *
It's too hot, way too hot for someone who'd prefer to live in Finland than in Honolulu!
And it was a bit too hot for our picnic on saturday, but we really enjoyed it, and even managed to have beers then red wine without getting an headache! Yup yup!
And the 3 *octobrettes* looked really happy to bother someone else than their respective parents :P hehe
They were so adorable altogether, the kind of "show" that makes me want to be a multimama ;-)

So here are the pics of the 3 *miniZoctobrettes* as we call dem...Maïa, Gaïa and the shrimpette. Maïa will be the first to get 9 months-old, yup she's the old one.

Gaïa, Maïa and Lola... can you see their t-shirts btw (our creation, yup yup)?

aren't they hmm rock 'n roll? hehe

Lola about to sing Joan Baez' songs :P .... can you see her 2 lil teef?

Sunday, June 22, 2003

I've finally translated my children's story in English (which will be checked in the next days by an English friend of mine), so everything's ready to put it online. We've to work on the design though, it will take a few more days then.
I can't wait that everything's over with this story. It has taken too much time!

Saturday, June 21, 2003

They say the temp' will reach 33-35°C today... purrrfect for a picnic with friends!
Last time Lola saw her goilfriends, Maïa and Gaïa, they were 3 months-old. Now at 8 months-old, I think it will be rilly funny to let dem play together and see their *new* reactions :)

I just hope there will be enough sun for me (yeah I knowwww, it's not guuud, but just a bit of it is necssary for my sunny muuud! :P), but not too much for the goils! I'm taking umbrellas anyway to make shadow. I just can't understand it when I see babies under the sun without protection! I'm kinda maniac about it. I don't let Lola go with such a sunny weather without a hat, high (the highest..60!) protection lotion+ shadow.
Yes! Yes!
I woke a bit before 6.30 to finish painting the illustrations...and now it's 9.50 and it's done!!! Weeehooooooooo!
I need a 4th cawfee now because Lola should wake up in a minute!

The illustrations are very simple, made for 3, 4 years-old *readers* and I thought it will be quickly done. But I needed 2 weeks to finish them! Shiteroo, watta work!
(happy sigh)

Thursday, June 19, 2003

My franwch shop on ebay is finally online!
There was much to do about it... writting purchasing conditions... defining a price... organizing the shipment and its cost, etc etc.

Ok, there's only one item on it... and when I find the precious minutes I'll add more. But I'm rather testing it, I don't expect really to sell on here, but I wouldn't want to miss any opportunity!
:-))

Wednesday, June 18, 2003

And nowwwww..... Lola standing on her legs (she needed a good reason to do it... like escaping from her parc!)

She is not specially quick in learning how to move (I think she nooooooooooes big efforts are not necessary yet! hehe)... but dat's a beginning!
Next week, if she gets up early enough (not at 10.00 as usual, that is), i'll take her to her first "babies meeting". I've found a place where parents take their babies to be in contact with other babies and to discover new environments. And it's free! That's kewl :))
It is official !!!!
Lola is as German as French, she'll get her German ID card in a few days (German do not ask for pictures for babies' ID cards...phewww... but they make it pay 28 euros! ID cards are free here :P)

I'm really happy we did it. It was not "necessary", but it meant a lot to us. Making lil efforts for "uncessary" thingies, I find it really important :)

Wine, beer, bretzel and baguettes, Derrick and les brigades du tigre... Lola has now entered a world of little contradictions and surprises!
hehehe
:-)))

After the German embassy cession, I came back with Lola in the push-chair and crossed half of Paris walking quickly (I had to be back for Lola's lunchtime.. no more boobies safety system!).
Les Tuileries, Concorde, Assemblée Nationale, Invalides, Tour Eiffel, Ecole Militaire... a break for shopping... and wooosh I was back!
I'm a bit broken and I've lost my feet somewhere... but Lola is Frog und Kraut (Fitz's words huh hehe) now**~~*^* * *

Les Seins
Encyclopédie historique et bizarre des gorges, mamelles, pis et autres tétons des origines à nos jours

I'm in the middle of a book (which I recommend!) dedicated to breasts... yup, 350 pages dealing with everything, e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g, linked to boobies!
And trust me it is fascinating.

So many themes .... duel ... eunuques ... geometrie ... griffures (scratches) ... hypocrisie .. position ... portrait ... sectes ... sadisme ... vamp ... censorhip ... canibalism ... etc etc
A cultural/social approach made without voyeurism (though you get lots of pics! lol)
Very interesting book which can make you rilly RILLY shiver or laugh..and learn a lot (like Louis XIV who was known for his royal bites because he was born with 2 teef :P)

Martin Monestier (the author) has also written a few other encyclopedia... including one about the flies (I wanna read it!), another about canibalism (it's oh gawd, forget about it!!!), one about... hairs too!!!
LOL yeah, about hairs. I'm very curious about this one. I've no idea what can be told about hairs!

(I had discovered this book about boobs at Patrick's -mama's hubby, who's a psychiatrist-)

Monday, June 16, 2003

It's not everyday that you get a new Greek friend called Aphrodite and who is as nice as beauDiful!
We're both lost in Elfwood's fantasy world wishing a guuuud generous soul will show us what we're doing there :P
//oO\\
haha!!! Lola's been inspired for her first Papas' Day!
She's found a new (well from 2002) RPG PC game... Warcraft 3!!!

A game full of quests, fights, memorable heroes and terrible dark creatures (happy happy happppppppy sigh).
(I found it on my favorite website for shopping...Martin's company!! hehe... do you know priceminister Jenny?... if you ever look for a book, CD, movie or game....check on it, you can find new stuff very cheap!
... Sowwwy, Martin, but the shrimpette isn't rich enough..not yet!) hehe

Anyway, i'm off to WarcraftLands... a bit late but... we'll have fun!!!
wooooooooshhhh**~~^* *

Sunday, June 15, 2003

After falling asleep 2 times (25% tired, 75% bored), I finally managed to watch the end of the last James Bond (Die Another Day)... Where are all the spices you could find in the first movies? I do my best to find all what makes 007's charms but..... impossible misson!
It was more disappointing than entertaining.
Sooooo, I'm no more a Bond's fan.
Nono, I won't reconsider my opinion!
I know that will break Pierce's lil heart, but it's my last word!

Friday, June 13, 2003

(psssssst Penny One, can you have a cig for me? pullllllllllleeeeeeeeeeeease! hehe)

I've finished taking care of the shrimpette, cleaning, painting... I can enjoy my time now. A glass of wine, goth music (I gotta change that, I need a lil yello submarine again! hehe..), fresh air coming from the window, dark dark night outside, people laughing around candles (lol) in the courtyard... extremely pleasant atmosphere actually... peaceful, zen...

in other words...

...I'm feeling guuuuuuuuud.....**~~^* *

BUT

I'd feel like in paradise with a CIG!!!!!!!! I neeeeeeeeeeeeed a faaaaaaaaaaaaaag!

I'll resist, yeah yeah, but with a broken heart!!!!
hehe

Wednesday, June 11, 2003

I wonder... if ever i'm walking in the street and one of my excellent *web friends* comes across in the croad... will I instantly recognize him/her and jump towards him/her as if we knew each other since ages (which would be the case!) .... or, will i just wonder why this face is a bit familiar but forget about it 2 minutes later?...
Phewww... I've just finished the drawing part of the 12 illustrations for my children's story!
I've to start with the painting now....
Gawd, it's terribly hard to work 2 minutes here, 2 minutes there... everything takes ages!
(goood *spirits*, gimmme more hours, puleeeeease!)

Tuesday, June 10, 2003

I wonder when our dear Roastbeef cousins will accept using the evil's money (euro :P)
... I gotta say I'm not yet completly used to my euro coins, but it's so practical to "speak the same money" with some other countries!
Like when we went to Hamburg, you rilly see the differences in prices..interesting!
Too bad it's called euro, I would have voted for "ecu" ..
I've watched the first "come back" of Metallica on stage, at Nuremberg.
Oh shiterooooooo, my lil pets are so gooooooooood with their tools (voice, drums and guitar, huh :P)

They will play 3 concerts in Paris on the same day (yup yup!) in a couple of days. Naturally there are no tickets available anymore since ages... booooooooooooooo
So much sun in 3 days! That was rilly kewl :-)))
The freckles are back and I've got enough sun for the next 10 days!
Now I hear some thunder roaring, it's suddenly very dark around... it's so tropical... I luuuve it! **~~*^* *

Monday, June 09, 2003

Lola's 8 months today! :-))))

Lola can sit now without falling on the sides
She can tell many baaaaaaaaaa maaaaaaa gaaaaaaa
She is crazy for remote controls. If suddenly you hear a HUGE noise (from tv, stereo), you know she's playing with one if dem :P
She tests us all the time, checking our limits (so we've to learn to put some! heh)
And well, each time I see her, I hold her, I smell her, I wanna make a dozens of Lolas ! hehehe **~~*^* * *^* ** *^^* *

Sunday, June 08, 2003

I had never watched Yellow Submarine before yesterday. Nebber ebber!!!
And I luuuved it!!!! Very crazy, very funny :-))))
I had forgotten the charms of the Beatles' world **~~* ^* *

Oh and I completly fainted when I discovered mr nowhere man. I would have never imagined it this way, great surprise!

I thought transports' strike was organized for last tuesday.. and yesterday again, we've had big troubles to go out of Paris! And I tell you, transports's probbies when you're carrying a baby is not funny funny... I hope they will stop after the weekend (after all the weather won't be that good anymore, good reason for them to start again to work, ne?)... and that people will be able to go to work without problems again.
When I see that, I hope the government won't make compromise about the retirement's stuff. Anyway if the government's proposal is refused then we'll have to follow Brussels' rules, and that would be much worse for the people who're on strikes..

Saturday, June 07, 2003

(dancing around!)

sunglasses? on.
suncream? in the pocket.
mood? very sunny.

We're on our way for a freckles'day!!! (=lots of sun, fresh drinks, bbq)
The weather is splendid here, we're going to enjoy the best of it **~~*^* *

Thursday, June 05, 2003

Yeeeeeeehooooooooooo!!!!
Emmanuelle and Arnaud have accepted to be the godmother and godfather for Lola :-))))
And they take it very seriously, that makes me verrrry happy!
I hope the baptism can happen in autumn, that bothers me a bit to attend the catholic preparation cessions, but for Lola, i'll make that lil effort :P

I asked myself thousands times what all that meant to me. Was baptism that important? Yes and no. No because you can live without ;-) ... and yes because in a way or the other I wanna Lola to have the chance to enter some spiritual world. Hmm... it's very hard to explain. I just wanna open that door to her. Then she'll do as she wants, naturally**~~*^* * *^^* *

I just wanted to be sure we would not organize all that just because it's the tradition. Because it was what we wanted.
:-)))

I thought I could do my luggage directly for Heaven (G), but....

The Dante's Inferno Test has banished you to the Second Level of Hell!
Here is how you matched up against all the levels:
LevelScore
Purgatory (Repenting Believers)Very Low
Level 1 - Limbo (Virtuous Non-Believers)Moderate
Level 2 (Lustful)High (yoohooo! I'm here!!!!)
Level 3 (Gluttonous)High
Level 4 (Prodigal and Avaricious)Moderate
Level 5 (Wrathful and Gloomy)Low
Level 6 - The City of Dis (Heretics)Low
Level 7 (Violent)Moderate
Level 8- the Malebolge (Fraudulent, Malicious, Panderers)High
Level 9 - Cocytus (Treacherous)Low

Take the Dante's Inferno Hell Test

PS: my very low score in the purgatory level makes me rilly blush!!! watta shame!
Almost 8 months nursing Lola! Not bad, hey :-)))
But I'm stopping now, I don't have enough milk anymore. booooooooooooooooo :(((
That was one of the most wondeDerful experience I've had. I've got used to be a milk maker (g), that will feel weird in a few days when da breast won't be a mama *tool* anymore.

One of the moments I prefer was when only the breast could calm down a crying Lola. It looked like such a relief for her to feel her mama's warmth and presence that way (happy sigh)**~~*^* *^^* * *

The only kewl thingie is to say bubye to the nursing bras, yup yup. I could not stand dem anymore! Yeeeehooooooooo :-))))))

**no milk today**~~*^* *

Monday, June 02, 2003

Massive destruction weapons (is it how you call dem in English?)
I wonder why they all get excited with the topic. The war was planned anyway, so what..

Honestly I expected The US army with FoxNews and CNN to find a magic box in the middle of the Iraq's desert with the "appropriate" weapons which would have been the proof (according to them)to the world that they had been right.
But they haven't done it yet, let's wait a bit more. (g)

Saturday, May 31, 2003

Martin's still rilly sick. His temperature is now of 39.6°.. I told him if he reaches 40, that will be beyond my nurse's power (g)... I'll call the *night doc*.
I thought I had busy days, but I did not know what it meant to take care of baby AND a sick hubby!
It sounds stoopid but the fact I cannot ask Martin to carry Lola for a minute makes a huge difference to my days. I'm dead!

But then, I'm having a glass of white milk while typing this bloggie AND cooking for Martin (it seems I never have the chance to do one thing only at a time).
I hope he'll get better tomorrow because Martin cannot stand to not be able to cuddle his lil princess (but no probbie to cuddle his *queen*.. hehe... I told him I won't catch what he had and that he has nothing to say against that because I am the nurse! :P)

Friday, May 30, 2003

Poor Martin! It's sunny and hot outside (above 30°C!) and he's caught a baaaaaad influenza!
The doctor wanted to stop him for a week, but they made a compromise on 4 days if Martin had recovered enough.

He was burning las night, unable to get rid of his 39°C!
So I've put my nurse outfit and i'm beeing a mamanurse for a few days. I've to make sure Lola won't catch it while helping Martin to recover quickly.

Thursday, May 29, 2003

Yesterday night we watched A.I. (by Spielberg) and among all the last movies we've seen recently, it was the best one. Which was a surprise, I thought it could be ok but not more than that.

It's very poetic, a quality I luuuuuuve in SF movies! And the kid playing in it is simply **~~^* *^* * !!!!
I don't want even to talk of the topic, except it's about humans and robots... I just rilly rilly recommend it, you might get a guud surprise with it.
And psssst Penny.... there's a Teddy in it...and santamaria... you'd adopt it if you could, trust me!
hehe

Wednesday, May 28, 2003

As I was telling Jenny earlier, I'm going to check on ebay if I can get for free an ebay shop. If not, then I'll start auctions for prints (limited series) :-)
It just take (to much) time to finish my website. We work on it almost everyday but not enough time. We do insist on building ourself this gallery of mine because we don't want to pay anyone for an online shop and we want to have enough control on everything (as payment tools, etc).
So, while waiting for my gallery to be finished, I'll see what I can do with ebay. That will be interesting anyway :-)))
Here's the pair that makes me happily crazy all day, I'm surprised my tiger of Siberia stands so well my lil cats/pigeons/dawgs/horses' catcher!

Ohhh ohhh, Metallica has just made a new album!!!!
St.Anger
lovely title, huh! hehe... Dat means (faint) there should be concerts soon (drool)..yeeeeeeehoooooooo!!!!

Monday, May 26, 2003

Yesterday was Mother's Day here (my first one, haaaaaaaaa :-))) .... and Lola offered me a lil present in her own way ... 2 TEEF !!!!
Yup yup, when we were feeding her with the spoon, we felt something trying to bite the spoon harder (s). We cannot really see anything but when you pass your finger on her gums, you can feel clearly 2 lil teef coming out.
She's growing up so quickly! First the teef, then the first boyfriend!!!
heh **~~*^* * * * *

Sunday, May 25, 2003

I find that German and English have more in common than French and German (while Martin thinks French and English have more in common!!! LOL (shaking head)

But what I'm sure of is that Germans are really different in the most pleasant way (not talking of the Bavarian creatures here! hehe).

There, they seem to not care about the look (or maybe to *care* much more than others!). For instance, There's no other country where you can find so many guys with long hair (wooohoooo)... there some (many) people also dress in funniest way and they're not looked as weirdos! I find that very kewl that the society is so mixed.
At least that's the way in Hamburg (and I think it's not like that everywhere there).

That's one of the reason I would not mind going to live in Hamburg if Martin asked me (but he won't, snif... hehe, he luuuuves France too much!)

Talking of Hamburg, the trees there (and there are lots of parcs) are simply huge. And here comes my new theory. Trees and human beings are alike. The average German tree is higher than the average French tree... and the average German guy is simply (much) taller than the average frawnch guy! hehe
Hamburg (episode #3) : the lil pleasures of life

We've been out actually every evening; we put Lola to bed, spent some time with Martin's family, then we left at about 10.00 pm for pubs.
We've been really pub crawling... german pubs, punk pubs, heavy metal pubs, irish pubs.. wooooo! It was fantastic. I got addicted to Pino Grigio (they get wonderful italian wines there!)

We've been also following a Quest there... finding the best curry Wurst (I've gotten addicted to that too! heh)

We've been out to dance in clubs. 2 times. Again in some heavy metal one (hehe, luvvvvve dem!), called the Grünspan, but we did not stay too long... knowing a lil devil wakes up a few hours later makes you inevitably more *reasonnable* ;-)

We've been out on Sunday morning for a typical brunch near the canals. One of the moment I prefer when we're in Hamburg. The place is like paradise:)

And I found time to read 2 books (I dunno how I managed to do all that, it sounds like the twilight zone!).. "Strangers on a train" (topic being: you murder my father, and I'll murder your wife), by Patricia Highsmith (that I don't know at all)... and a books of 50 short stories from many different authors. Entertaining. I discovered I still could not stand Hemingway (lol, that sounds posh!!!) and I discovered I could finally enjoyed Henry James (and that sounds even more posh!)!!!
Hamburg (episode #2)

During these hol' we managed to see a few movies we had missed last years. It was very kewl to have the time to do it!
So we've watched..

Harry Potter (2)
... pleasant but it wasn't as good as the first. It was like they did not know how to make a perfect script from the (excellent) book.

Minority Report
... worse than expected (snif). I did not like to much the plot (though the story started very well). But it was kinda to predictable and you know just in the first minute who'se the real baddie (which was supposed to be the final surprise)

Signs
With Mel (Gibson), which is already enough to make a good movie :P ... It was a quite good one, not excellent, a bit weird... about E.T. invasion.

Panic Room
With Jodie Foster (that I luvvvve). It was probably the best movie we've seen amonst these ones. Not the best of Jodie Foster but it was ok:)

Ice Age
Very kewl one! We laughed a lot with this one. Very well done movie:)))
Hamburg (episode #1)

So, where do I start, hm?!
We've had a great week in Hamburg, with almost no Hamburger shit weather (rain+cold).

This time we managed to see more of the family than usual, and a bit less of friends. That will be for next time :)
Lola was not in her best mood (crying often when she met new people - which happened all the time!) but we managed to take her often for big walks in the city or in the country side, which she always loves.

By the way I've noticed Lola prefers much more shopping and busy streets than peaceful trees and quiet paths.. hehe, a city goil already huh.

We slept there in the same bedroom than Lola. We almost could not breathe for fear that she wakes up! And in the morning, I could observe how she awakes. She needs 30, 40 minutes once she first opens the eyes... During these minutes, she looks around (often at us through her bed's bars), checks her elephant is still here, grabs the curtains, plays with dem, etc etc. Then once she's fully awake, she starts making noises to finally call us with tenor's screams :)
Memorable moments **~~^* *

It was really Fantastic to be far from "work" and bills and everything of everyday life. Leaving to another country for holidays is really different. I recommend that *therapy* (G) to everybody!

(gettin rid of the dust on ol' Gulli)
(trying also to get rid of Joe, who's on a cuddling mode)
(discovering again the taste of cawffee)

We arrived yesterday from Hamburg really late after an awful travel (=with much delay)!
But our holidays there were fantastic... you gimme the tickets, I go back there straight away!
hehe :-)))

Before telling more about the trip, I'll first post some pics we made there. What would be telling about such a journey without adding pics of my angel(s) :P

My angels with Oma und Opa (yup, yup, fluent one you see)

Lola's now addicted to apples as you can be to white milk (that tells a lot huh!). Look at her dress and trousers, it's her posh Springish costume when there's a party to go :)

That was on a stormy day. We were having wine and beer and Wurszt on the beach near the Elbe when ice started to fall! Thank Gawd, there was this bar where we could go on with our pleasant activities :)

Here we're standing in front of the city house, it was on a shopping day (woooohoooooooo!)

CandyMom tenderly explaining to a Lola who did not care at all why pigeons are so nasty!
And they are!

Lola's playing with Marcel (german rabbit designed in Italy, made in China, with a Frawnch name... it could not be more international!)
Martin and I could not resist adopting Marcel when we saw him standing alone amongst nasty frogs and hyppopotamus.

Lola with her cousin Mara who's 3 months younger but taller and much bigger than Lola.

Lola meeting her first boyfriend... James (Her mom Tanja is 1/2 English, 1/2 German) is 10 months-old. Very very cute, very active and having lots of kewl toys! Wooohooooo!!!
His parents, Tanja and Thorsten, are excellent friends of us; they were Martin's witnesses at our wedding.

Haaaaaa, what can I say...other than... I'm a proud mom!!! hehe

*~~* *^***Holidays**~~*^* * *

(noticing your jealous look :P)

The luggage is ready, or almost. Gawd, travelling with a baby is really something (and we've not started yet!).
Before we needed a t-shirt, a pair of jeans, a lil dress and that was it!
Now we've to add Lola's toys (very important!), Lola's clothes (more than for us!), Lola's medication (just in case), Lola's eating tools, etc etc + the push-chair!
I've sacrified myself not taking more than panties and socks... (I'll buy all what I need there! Mwaaaahahahaha!)

I gotta thank Papa who has offered to take us to the airport tomorrow morning at about 6.00 !
That's rilly great... because of the strikes and because it will be much more comfortable for Lola (and us!) than with the metro. :-)))))

We've already planned to see all our good friends there. It's been almost a year we've been there!

So between our rendez-vous with family (martin's family + my mom's sister who live there) and with our friends, we'll be deliciously busy!
And I've noticed many of our friends had a lil baby too!!! The Papas will talk babies while the mamas will enjoy their Hamburg's beer! Waaaaaaaaahaaaaaaaaa!
hehe
strikes strikes strikes!!!

SGRRRRMMMPHHHHHHHHHH.... rilly!!!!

See, I get into unusual bad mood these days! .... I need holidays! Phewwwww (I've finally found an excuse to go and enjoy 8 full days of holidays! hehe)
All the public (as in "working for the government") services are blocked since yesterday! No post, no transport, no school, etc. Because they refuse to work as long as the private companies' workers.
Martin could go to work yesterday with his rollers, it took him 1.30 hour. At least he could go to work, unlike many!
And today it was supposed to be over and tada, they start again!
And they complain because they are not completly paid when they're on strike!!!

I find such strikes... irresponsible, we should fire all of dem and give jobs to people who wanna work!.. hehe, yeah it's a bit radical, but less radical than the way they take people as hostages!
Grrrrmmmmppppppppphhhhh!

Shiteroo, I hate it when my paintings are not accepted in an online gallery (I try to put them on every good website I see)...
They almost never give any reason, which is almost beDer to keep me in an "avarage" mood (s). But when they say it's not enough refined or lacking details.... Baaaaaa, that makes me maaaaaaad!

Well, I do accept critics.. of course (hehe)... when I find them well erm.. appropriate, naturally!
(cough)
:P
I've a little favour to ask to the dark forces (g)... Pulease, whatever Giscard (Frawnch Pres' in the 70's) is doing in the European comission right now (he is trying to be very active... which is ok, even great!.. when you're not Giscard!)... someone gotta stop him! I only tell that for the guuudness of Europe ya know.. hehe

While Martin is playing a very VERY clever game... "match the beer to the country" (lol, and he is mad because he's not making a purrfect score!)...
... I'm deciding I've no time to write a bloggie tonight!

hehe

So 'night'night you birds of the night!**~~* *^* *

Lola's 7 months-old today!!!

When I see the new-born babies, there is already such a difference with Lola! It's incredible!
Lola will get her last monthly visit at the doctor on monday (with 2 last injections..huuuu), then she'll go back there in a few months only:)

So what has changed in a month... She is much more active with her hands and mouff! She tries to grasp whatever is reachable (or not!) and does the "mouffcontrol", she tastes what's in her hands to check if it's interesting or not! She also starts her *throwing away* cession. She takes, she plays, she tastes, she throws away. More often she takes and she directly throws away!
She also screams a lot more (most of the time when she's happy)
She loooooooooves putting her nekkid feet in her mouff too. She loooves playing in the bath, she knows how to sit by herself for more than a few seconds. She eats more, much more, and still get nursed twice a day (applause :P).
Oh and she's getting rilly more and more cute! hehe **~~~* ^^* * *

I'm still very active on the website dedicated to pregnant women and mamas :-)))
I've just had contact with a young mom, whose life is rilly terrible. Married to a guy whose attitude has completly changed during the pregnancy. Since then, for whatever reason, he's harrassing her morally speaking. I had no idea really about what could be moral harrassment. Well, I did not imagine it could go that far. I'm not going into details here, but I can say this young mama is ready to leave with her baby even though she is scared to death.
She's asking for help and advice from other mamas. She does not want to do anything that could be held against her after her departure. So she has to be just a bit more patient before doing anything.

I cannot stand a mama and her baby can live such things. It is so much "against nature"!!!!

When I see that I somehow always wonder how these women can involve with such guys. I mean, a person is not white one day and black the other.. You should be able to "feel" how a person really is after a while.
And I always tell myself I'd prefer being alone 10000000 times more than getting *involved* with a guy in which i'm not totally confident.
But I noooooooooooooe Love can rilly makes us blind.

Now I find it very very VERRRRY courageous to get up one day and to say "stop! I don't want this life anymore". It's already hard for any of us to do it normally... but for a new mama with a newborn baby, I find it... fantastic. **~~*^* * * *^^* *
I've just started working on a painting (which will be sent to a "anti-cliché" Fantasy contest). But I need time time time!
And there are quite many people coming to visit my site (an average of 40 different visitors per day), so I have to keep it updated. But.... I need... *whatyaknow*!
And there are the illustrations for the story i've written.. I'm in the process of drawing them (pencil coming before painting).. there are about 15 drawings to make. I've almost done 4. Gawd... I miss dat fookin time!
Alleluia!
Jack has finally (hehe, sowwwy Jack, I can't help insisting on this "finally") an online photos gallery, a gallery full of treasures, believe me!
I'm already very impatient to discover (more) the world through our DHNer's eyes! Isn't that exciting!! wooooooooohoooooo!!**~~*^* * *^* *

We had time to visit 3 houses in Bretagne! not bad in 2 days!

The first one was rilly fine, 140 square meters, big dining room, big living room, 1st floor with 4 bedroom and a huge attic to be renovated. Actually more than a few little renovations to make. There was also another lil house with it, very old one, used to park the car and for whatever you want. But the garden was so small, and the neighbours get a "passage right" with their car just in front of the house. Not kewl at all.

The second one was too small, though with 107 square meters. And pretty ugly inside. Which would have been fine if not that expensive.

And the third one was the one for which I had taken rendez-vous before leaving. An old house near the river, completly renovated inside! When you enter it, there's the huge living room + kitchen. On the first floor, bathroom, toilets, 4 (big bedrooms), in the attic, 2 big berooms and another bathroom.
But as expected, it was just near a bridge with much traffic. The house was so kewl that even with a small garden we would have signed for it. But the traffic just near. Yuck!!!!!

to be continued :P
How kewl to have a digital camera, I took about, I dunno, 150 pics!!! ...and discovered how it felt to be a japanese tourist :P
Our weekend was rilly great, though we had a stormy weather for 2 days!
Before telling more about the weekend, here are a few pics I took (I hurry before Lola wakes up!!)

Lola's first hat :)
I'm Xtremly careful when there's sun, I avoid any direct contact which leads to acrobatic but protective positions from me sometimes**~~* *

Lola's fascinated with cats, here with Charlie, Marie's beauDiful cat

Martin and Lola in front of the house, with the typical Bretagne's blue windows

Eva (my niece, 5 years-old.. isn't she tall!) pretending, as usual, to be very tired during a walk. With Jeremy, half-bro:)

Eva, pretending (again yeah) she's praying (I asked her :P). Just beside is a beauDiful lil church

Martin, Lola and Eva, running in a bulls' field to take a short cut (and me running with the cam!!!)

Eva running near the Rance river. Lovely pic!!! (taken by Martin!)

Lola's adorable red cheeks after the walk

Martin and Jeremy having their first aperitif

A door just behind a tiny church... very inspiring and protecting certainly faeries!

I've dreamt of madonna last night (laffing, I can't control my dreams!!!), we were in a castle with lots of friends, having french paté with some baguette and red wine, and we spent our time talking about our respective daughters! hehe
And this morning I received her CD (which I expected a week ago!)
interesting bloggie, hey?
laffin

The first rendez-vous with the banks were not so SO bad actually... but as we're renting a flat, they are forced to take that into account and naturally we can't borrow as much as we expected.
But at least we know which houses we can forget already :P
Next step is checking the banks in Hamburg, though we doubt you can borrow money when you don't work in the country. We'll see :)
If you get the right media player, maybe you can have a look at that that next blockbuster starring a rather happy heroine (s)

click here to view Ze movie (3 mb)

PS: be patient, it's heaaavy. With ADSL connection, it takes about 30 seconds, but with a modem, I wonder!

Tuesday, April 29, 2003

fooooookerinoooooo! I was (again, yeah!!!) yacking about Iraq (about the last American's performance against the pro-saddam demonstration), and my blog has disappeared!
That's a sign!
Alleluia!
I face my destiny at that very moment: do I take it as a sign to stop with all that, or do I have to go on further with my battle against violence!

...OR...or... do I have to be more careful when I click everywhere on the blog's screen!

hehe
Nursing is really RILLY more practical with baby!
See my lil popeyette struggling with spinach!!!

Sunday, April 27, 2003

I often visit blogs and find in most of them a good opposition to governments and anything politically correct.
But sometimes... I find *jewls* of stoopidity, and that concerns the "Midwest Conservative Journal" (yeah I know, very promising :P).
Here is how they start their last article:

LES GRENOUILLES DELOYALES - Making up with France may now be decades away, if it ever comes. The French were not American allies who just happened to be opposed on principle to the recent war; they seem to have been enthusiastic Iraq partisans at least since 9/11. So enthusiastic that they kept Baghdad regularly informed about their meetings with US government officials:

France gave Saddam Hussein's regime regular reports on its dealings with US officials, The Sunday Times reported, quoting files it had found in the wreckage of the Iraqi foreign ministry.

Some of the information passed to Baghdad may have been of a sensitive nature:

The conservative British weekly said the information kept Saddam abreast of every development in US planning and may have helped him to prepare for war.

For all practical purposes, French diplomatic officials were spying for Iraq
etc etc

Tssss... they forget adding that Bin Laden is the hidden son of el 'Chi (Chirac) and that Hitler was the secret lover of DeGaulle.

Well, I know this is far from representing anything serious, but I find it more than worrying now that such things can be said. It would be just a few weirdos telling all that, I would laugh.
Well I still laugh (phewww! hehe), but when I hear such words here and there, on "official" tv channels, in national newspapers... I feel like a lil and lovely snowflakes (yuss yuss) is seen as a deadly avalanche (love my comparisons?hehe).
I find it worrying and very boring, yup.
And I rilly wonder why they spend so much time getting angry against Frawnch.
We're breaking records... not really actually. It's just half past midnight and we haven't had any diner yet, but it's just about to be ready.
I woke up 2 hours before my lazy otters (I luuuuv otters!!!) to paint, then started my *mamaday*, till 10.00 pm when Martin brought Lola to bed. Then I could paint again, till now.
I'm a bit tired but it's not too bad.

Shietroo! I hear some shrimpette!!

(woooooooosh)

(back)

Lola has just woken up, with big tears and screams. She never does that during the night, maybe the teef are coming.
We've changed her, given her a bottle of water with some honey and other relaxing plants. She's sleeping again .
I think i'm dead now!
hehe

Funny how days can look so short and long at the same time :P

Night night crazy World, sweet dreams to your passengers **~~*^* * *

Thursday, April 24, 2003

Wooohooo, I've just been offered (ok, by my mom) to work on a project to create the next poster for the 2004 nautical sports' celebration. I get a month to send my proposals, then they will be compared to the ones from communication companies!
And pssssssst.... in case it works, I've heard there's some lil money to make! (dancing around!!!) (sowwwy but $$$$$ are exciting!!)
hehe
I wonder... Do you often say "hello" to people in the street when you walk around?
No? Me neither. But since a few days when I go out, it happens that each time 3, 4 different people tell me hello. //oO\\
People that i've never seen before (!!), and always different ones. Wether I'm on Elzeimer, or there's something I rilly don't get!
If beeing preggie would work like a virus, I would say Paris is rilly infected! (s)
Maybe it's Spring, maybe it's trendy, maybe we're all on a mama mode at the moment, but preggie goils are popping out from everywhere here! Our arrondissement (the 15th) is said to be the one with most children in Paris.. I find it possible, at least very realistic when you see a pregnant woman at every corner of the street! **~~*^* *^^* *^^~* * *

Wednesday, April 23, 2003

And now Bush's government publically says they're trying to find how they can punish France now after its behaviour in the last months.
And no we're not talking of a gang of 10 years-old boys playing... nenene, the guys who're threatening with their lil revenge are those who get most power over there. Huuuuuuuu, glad we're not governed by a gang of immature weirdos here!

I'm happier than ever that we've stood against the American position to defend what we consider as a *right cause*. And I hope (but with doubts) we won't play the dawggies asking for contracts regarding the reconstruction of Irak. If Americans wanna make their biz there, I hope we'll stay away from dem.

Monday, April 21, 2003

Watta busy weekend!
I've almost finished writing all the "informations" section for my website (info about the paintings, prints, how to purchase, warranty stuff, packing, shipping, etc.). It takes a loooot of time to chose the details about how you want your biz working. And as much time to write it down! (sore fingers here!)
I'll have to re-read and complete the french and english version, then we'll translate all that in German. It's long!
I've also finished correcting my story for children. I'll start the drawings soon I hope.
Where's time hidding?

We've also built some *action plan* for the house in Bretagne. "how do we start", "when", "where", etc etc.
We're going to start taking rendez-vous with banks this week. Then knowing how much we can borrow, we'll know what price we can accept for the house.
It's the first step of that long journey in the kingdom of *adventurousbutfuckingkewllifeland* :)

It may happen that we can't borrow enough at all because I don't work at the moment.
We'll see and we'll do what's necessary then.
RoaaaaaaaaaaaRRRrrRRRRrRRR

Friday, April 18, 2003

I've just read the new project of Michael Moore was a documentary about the relationship between Jawji-senior-Bush and the family of Bin Laden in the 1990s. Maybe we'll get other proofs of how the world can be ugly then.
Thank you, Zorro of the new millenium, to insist with your fair quests. It feels guuuud. We all should be Zorros.
Madonna.
I reassure you I'm not a crazy *fan* at all anymore. But you never let down someone who's been with you for so long (g), so I always check what she does when she's around.
And I luuuve this *American Dream* song, but I find it's really too bad she's decided to cut the video so that it's less provocative (what I've seen was not shocking at all... sigh).

I hope I can find the original version of it on the web (s)
Neeee, i'm not a fan anymore! hehe

Tuesday, April 15, 2003

Ok the weather is weird. We had 0°C a couple of days ago and 27°C this afternoon.
But I'm not here to talk of the sun, rather about its effects actually. Why is it that we, goils of taste, have to stand men taking there cloths off as soon as it's summer around!
Really, I was walking with Lola, smelling the perfume of honey coming from the trees, happy.
And I have this vision of most pale-ish guys in white socks and white pants (sigh) enjoying a sunbath on the grass.
Pulease guys, make something about...
... these white sox!!!
Allo Docteur, j'ai un problème
I fear there's a jawji.w.Bush in me!!! Yup, I've been listening all day at the *Imperial March* (g)... yup, yup...
Star Wars' one! And I have many different versions of it (nossing).. I recommend the version from Metallica and No Doubt... Real guuuudies!

Taaaaa...daaaaaa...daaaaaa

Lola's first ID card... and it's to be used till 2013 (shakin head)
Don't you think she has the purrrrfect face of someone who has had a baaaaaaad baaaaaaaaad day! Or maybe someone forced to make ID pictures ;-)

hehe

Throwing away the first offer we've found.
It was actually a house built in the 1950s (not at all what we're looking for), with 2 bedrooms. 80m2. Too modern and too small (how we gonna do with our dozen of children?!) :P

Sunday, April 13, 2003

I've often talk of my inspiration for country life and desire to live in a castle (s)

I'm very stressed (in some kind of positive way though), because we've taken the decision. THE decision, yeah.
There's a time when you have choices to make. Ours is : do we want a life here in Paris, renting a tiny expensive flat, running everywhere all the time, enjoying car's gas, etc. Or, do we want a plain life out there, in the deep country side, far from my cherished civilization (hehe, rilly!), far from the easy life where you open your door and you find yourself at the restaurant, at a concert, at the cinema, etc.

We're facing that dilemma: city life / country life.
What would you chose?

I'm scared of leaving Paris, all my friends here, all the souvenirs I get everywhere. Paris is my home, I know it by heart... Once you leave it, I think you don't come back.
Leaving my good ol' habits. My beloved routine. Yes dat's hard!!!!
And these bridges, these roofs, these airports and train station that take you all around the world. Bubye all that.
Shit, that sounds stoopid but it's not easy.

And chosing country life means we've to buy a house, borrow money, buy a car, borrow money.
Buy a car, right, that means I'll have to fight against my second phobia (the first being my fear of birds) which is driving. I feel like stoned each time I'm behind the wheel (=never). I hate cars, I lose all my senses for space and I get sea-sick when I'm in a car. You did not know, hey?! hehe... Well, that's it. And I will have to deal with that in the country side.
Shit, it's hard already!

And *country life* means, for Martin, finding another job! That means I have to find new doctors for Lola, new gyno for myself etc. School for the shrimpette (whereas there's already 3 schools in the street here!) New Butcher-Dentist too!!!! Oh meGawd, a country dentist! Will I survive it??? (laughing)

Will I survive being forced to buy clothes in country stores? (laughing)

Will I die my hair in hugly blooooe as soon as I'm 60, and spend my saturday morning at the market sharing the last gossips with other women?
Gawd

Will I take an ugly accent which will give me 10 years more than my age!

Yeah I know I'm a fookin city goil!

But then.. life's short. What do I want for my family? Time for each other. Simple pleasures (different from going to the movies or to restaurant). Space (so important to be able to *breathe*). Getting closer to the nature. Offering Lola a different universe. Hard to find harmony and peace in this crazy world.
That's why we'll try it, launching ourselves in this plan. Leaving Paris to find our lil paradise!

I think this challenge will force me to face many lil (and big) weaknesses. I'm scared, but Martin's here. We gonna make it. **~~*^* * * *^^*

So we're decided. This week we gonna ask the banks how much they can help (probably the hardest part, they have somehow our dream in the hands!!!), then we start the *hunt*. We have already found an offer for an old house near Dinan in Bretagne. Not too expensive in comparison with others (about 92 000 Euros). But we don't know much about it and maybe the offer is not valid anymore.
Anyway, what matters is that we start with it.

(trembling in my boots)
hehe
**~*^^* * *
I dunno how we did it, but we managed to re-organize Lola's nest in one day only!
We wanted to get rid of that blue color on the wall of her bedroom and to change the whole organization (yup, second time I use that word today!) of it.
Now Lola's bedroom is as white as snow, which is a change for us (we're much into "violent" colours for our walls!), and it looks bigger and cleaner! Dat's what i wanted. Now I can finally put my paintings everywhere around her bed (they'll keep an eye on her :-) **~~^* * *^^* *)!
Huuuuu... seems to be the dark ages for Peace defensors! Now some people start treating us like supporter of Sadman!!!!
To me being a kind of peace defensor means defending *Life* before anything else.
Which means we are absobloodilutely against anything Sadman has done. That even hurts me to feel forced to type that :(

(running to grab a glass of guuuuud ol' white milk, I will make a toast to myself today! hehehe)

Saturday, April 12, 2003

Following Penny's blog topic (what thinking about war now the Iraqi are liberated!)
... it's been disturbing for a few days to think about the positive side of the war. Obviously the positive thingie is that Sadman has disappeared and Iraqi can start enjoying freedom.
A freedom which won't be easy to live with the chaos there at the moment.

As an Iraqi one said, we must not forget that "our" embargo provoked the death of 500 000 children there. Maybe before letting Bush chosing war, the UNO could have thought about this ermm "point" and done much more to help these people during 12 years.
It's been ages we should have helped the Iraqi, we've done the contrary.

So yes it is wonderful to see the people in the streets showing their happiness. Though you never know... Besides the end of their dictator, they might also be happy because the bombing is stopping...

So was that war good at the end?
I hear on tv Iraqi worshiping Bush'government as much as others being almost as worried as "before", for they feel they're far from enjoying Freedom. Those ask desperatly for the help of UNO, but UNO has lost power and credibility. UNO will be only good now to give the "coalition" $$$ to rebuild the country.

Personnally, I'm naturally relieved for the end of the dictatorship. But I'm still completly against the way it has happened.
Well, it's like you can do justice by yourself or follow the law. This time, some people have decided they could take their gun and get rid of the baddie. They've considered they were beyong the law and that justice was to be done by themselves.

It is also on a World point of view, that this war is very worrying. The USA threatens the countries there, and these countries will not respond to any international institution (as UNO) anymore since they've just seen the USA did not care about what UNO recommended. Whatever they do, the USA-UK might attack anyway.

And this war might mean countries can now decide which country should be liberated from their leader. What will happen if some consider Bush has somehow stolen the President's seat and that the country should be liberated from him! LOL. No, that's scary. War as a way to bring peace is absurd.

So the World balance is now highly fragilized.

About Iraqi, I hope they'll be given their freedom and democracy and not imposed (as it seems to be the case with the "American" new government there).
We're back to the brutal time of indians and cowboys. The law of the strongest.

Sigh

Friday, April 11, 2003

Martin and I have just been talking about the "internet" ideal, and he told me he had read somewhere that those who started the internet had an ideal of freedom of speech and communication.
The first developers really wanted to create a space, an oasis for people. A tool that everybody would use as they want.

And one of these guys was telling that freedom on the internet had almost disappeared because everything can be controlled except... bloggies!Bloggies are like the last web-oasis of freedom! Bloggies would be controlled if there were not so many of them. It's so huge that so far nothing can be done to censure/control it.

Phewwwww...!

And now a HUGE hugggggle to Miss Penny who took us to this oasis! hehe **~~*^* *^* ** * *
Been ages I've not threatened the world with my "oh they're so CUUUUTE" cat pictures... and for once, the mouse does not look too too bad :)

When CNN (I noooooooe what we all think about CNN, I noooe) has asked with its quick-vote thingie:

"Who should have the lead role in running a post-war Iraq?
U.S.-led coalition ?
U.N. ? "

(and the votes are of course in majority for the US and their friends)

... don't you see something rilly missing in that vote? hmmm, I was stoopidely thinking that Iraqi could have been added in the list of possible Iraq's leadership...

Wednesday, April 09, 2003

Who will be surprised by the victory of the Anglo-American troops against Saddam's troops? Nobody.
And of course It is a good thing for Iraqi to be freed of their dictator!

But that won't mean one second (to me) that this attack, this war is legitimate. Anglo-Americans troops are occupying a country like any colonialist would do. And colonialists are never right. Napoleonian Frawnch know well about it ;-)...The future is worrying.

And when I hear people telling from their comfortable sofa that it's great that finally there are not too many dead overthere... I find that really ugly. A kewl thing to say from their sofa.
And when I hear people telling if journalists are killed, well, nobody should complain, they knew it was war. That really makes me mad!

Now instead of starting parading in front of cameras, the troops should really escort the humanitarian trucks who are bloked at the frontiers!!!!
Lola's 6 months-old today!!! Weeeeeeeehooooooooo!! :))))))
She is now 66cm and she's 7,4kg... she's taken almost 1 kg in a month! The Doc said she was doing really well (which I knew! :P hehe). I asked him about her food, should I go on nursing her or not. I told him I did not mind stopping or not, what matters is what's the best for Lola.
And he told me if I did not mind I should go on nursing her! Jeeeez, I'm breaking records (actually no, not really, we're a few "octobrettes" still nursing our treasures, some only nursing them.. while I also give Lola artificial milk+vegetables and fruits too).

He told me then I could add to Lola's menus 30g of meet, 180g of vegetables, etc etc... Too complicate for me! And Lola won't eat that much! I'll follow Lola's rythm and that's all :P

So what has changed in a month for Lola? The bursts of laugh, there are a lot of them now! We've made a lil film during one of dem and I think I'll put it online, her giggles are so so cute!
She also "talks" in her own way, making high-pitch sounds, purring sometimes, roaring like a baritone too. You really feel she makes sentences. It's very funny.
She now smiles to any granny in the street who stops to tell "how cute your boy is!" (I've given up telling Lola was a goil, the best is to avoid long conversation or I'd never get back at home!)
She also starts to accept that I feed her with a spoon, but it's not yet her favourite thing.
She's greedy for milk, not so much for the rest. But it takes time, she's discovering all that :)
I need to find on ebay or somewhere a parc for her, because she's getting too big for her baby chair and I can't let her on the parquet. That would be practical for me when i have to let her alone for a minute. It's hard carrying her while cooking or feeding joe or watever:)

Anyway, enough of blablas, here's Lola's April gallery (with a very proud popa and moma as usual!)

Oh Shiteroo, wish me luck! On lunchtime I'm taking Lola for her vaccin against hepatitis. For her last vaccin, she spent a day crying with fever, poor lil shrimpette!
It gonna be a cuddles'day!

I did not think I'd have a hard time writing a story for children!

I've realized I could not start properly without knowing how I wanted my story to finish. Then it's not enough to have an idea of a story, of a beginning and an end...

You gotta create a personnality for you main character, even a way of talking! Then you have to enter your character's mind to *feel* his reactions in different situations. Huuuuuuuu, I've spent my day trying to think like a 8 years-old boy! Talking of that, I've seen a boy that age asking his mom for a barbie today. I thought boys wanted kens!

Anyway, after creating your character, you have to create a universe around him, a universe that shall mean something to kids!!! ... //oO\\

Then you can go back to the story itself and start something. Ok, you've the beginning + the main character to lead you to the end. Time to explore this labyrinth!

But you know it's a book for children, so you've to keep in mind it must be about 14 pages (average it seems). The labyrinth will be short but not easier at all!

So finally you start typing words. Full, pleasant sentences appear on the screen. Getting easier then? Oh nenene, because you had forgotten you've to chose an age category for your "readers". You don't use the same words for 2 years-old angels than for 10 years old ones!

Ok, I have to re-start again keeping in mind so many "parameters" that inspiration's getting blocked!

Thank Gawd, I've not given up. Good or not I wanted to do it and I've just finished. Martin and I will read and re-read it this week. I told Martin I'd make an effort to accept criticism. I think he doubted that.
hehe

For the first time in ages we were sleeping hard yesterday at 11.30 pm, a record. We were so tired! And I woke up full of energy, ready to do the thousands thingies waiting for me.
But my adorable shrimpette had imagined a different script for my day. She kept me busy every single minute, when you know she wakes up at 9.30 and goes to bed at 10.00, you understand that it makes LOTS of minutes.

Now I'm dead again; I wanted to finish my painting tonight, but (yawning) we've not eaten yet and I can hardly open the eyes... sooooo, let's see if I manage to organize myself beDer tomorrow!

Anyone gets some *guuuuuuuuuuuuuuud* vitamines for me?

It's been a few days now that I really feel sea-sick when I jump into bed, always thinking about the nights dem Iraqi children are having at the same time in bagdad and around there.
And all that being inflicted by people who spend their time telling "they're sorry, that accidents might happen, and that it's wartime after all". It's revolting.
