I'm a teenager !

teenager... dat's how I feel when I sit in front of my tv d'amour to watch another of my fav' series!
I turn into a fan, heart beating fast, giggling, getting stressed and excited, jumping on the sofa, screaming when the girls in the screen scream, etc etc

And I'm that was with Desperate Housewife, with Lost too, and recently with Prison Break. Halala Prison Break, my friends, is really something!

The gang of caracters is brilliant! They all make me shiver, in different ways, of course.. lol

Have you watched it? Don't tell me you don't like!

Ha well, I may be a Scofield fan, but I still enjoy a lot Detective Chief Inspector Tom Barnaby! (so no, that confirms I'm not a teen anymore!)

Oooops!

I think in my own way, I can translate quite much from French into English... but here's one of my limit: a 3 years-old goilette swearing in a 3 years-olg goilette way!

Five

(thank you, Penny, for inspiring me again!)

Five things you'll never hear me say:
1. I'm thinking about having a third baby!
2. No thank you, I don't drink alcohol
3. I've burnt my vote card, I don't believe anymore
4. Merry Xmas, I knew you'd love white socks!
5. I love country music and reggae!

Five things that scare the bejeebers outta me:
1. Swimming when you're far from the coast
2. When I see my babes bleeding for any reason
3. Being bloked in a room with a pigeon (or any kind of bird)
4. Driving
5. Not being around when my babies need me

Five things I like about myself:
1. I can easily make people feel comfortable, I think
2. I'm very receptive to details and *signals*
3. I can make my lil family happy
4. I still believe I can live from my art one day
5. I have dreams and I want to make them happen

Five areas I know I can do better:
1. Cooking (frozen pizzas and quiches everyday at the moment!)
2. Being less stressed
3. Driving as if I was born with a wheel in the hand
4. Resisting yummy cakes
5. Accepting that i can be wrong and that I can lose at games

Five things I've learnt from being a Mother:
1. You can sleep 5 or 6 hours per night and still be alive
2. Travelling takes more time and requires to be a bit more organized
3. I'm like a shelter now, our babes count on two people, Martin and I
4. I cannot swear as much as I want
5. Life was not complete -for me- without my babes

Five words that sum me up:
Caring, curious, faithful, naive, optimistic

Crazy for dawn

I've just added a new painting in my gallery

At the moment I'm working on a series for Halloween (the series being just 1 painting so far! lol), and I also work on a new version of a couple of old paintings that I love but that I'd make differently now.

Gimme days of 50 hours!

The best seller in the world

He is tall, dark haired, happy father of 4 kids, always talking of the last cartoon on screen, looking like Gepetto but in a younger way, always smiling, remembering the name of your kids.
He sells toys.

I went in his shop for a simple plastic bucket yesterday. 3 euros, I promised myself I won't spend more than 3 euros. I swore I would not!

I left his small shop with a heavy bag, after spending more than 20 euros.
Among other plastic stuff...I bought..what??? another balloon?!!
Oh but trust me, really do, this balloon is unique, fantastic, you can throw it on windows, they'll never break, and now touch it, it feels so sweet no? and you know Loup being already so strong, he can bite it, no problem! And look at this range of coulors!!! As usual it's a German product; Gawd German are really good with toys!

Wawwwwww, what a balloon! I just *needed* it!

...

Shit, the young Gepetto is good, fooking good!

(sigh)

Charlotte forever

Has anyone listened to Charlotte Gainsbourg's new album?

I haven't, but it seems so promising, that I could buy it just right now! I'm very confident. 5:55 (the title of it) has been made with the precious help from Air (Air, -sorry to sound as an excited teen, but..-, one of my fav' band!!!!), soooo, I think I already recommend it to you :P

There are other artists (Metallica, Beck, David Gilmour, Bjork, Depeche Mode, etc) for which I do not need any proof about any new album. I could buy their new album without hearing one single note. I'm confident in their talent. It's not so stoopid you know, it's a matter of love, and it works with any kind of art I think.

Marine and Esox

you don't know it yet (no time for email or for a call so far), but you are the 2 chosen Ones (lol) that we plan to visit in the next weekends.. I give you both enough time to fill the fridge ;-)

hot Paris, clever devil and proud mama

ok, next year I take my holidays in September!
30°C today again, it's summer! While Lola gets the expensive habit to try every icecream possible, Loup is more into trying just about ... ANYTHING. The cheaper the better in his case! lol
Eating stones, grass or sand and drinking (not so) fresh air has turned to be a habit now!

With that you could expect a very thin baby, but nenene Loup is almost 12kgs now (which is not just nothing when you're only 10 months-old) for 76cm.

Oh! And I was to forget... tada... he's just made 3 steps all alone today!
(happy sigh)**~~*^* *

WTC, media and selective memory

I hear people complaining that we simply hear too much about the 11th of September!

I can *feel* a certain degree of anti-americanism in that. Ok, the media focus on the event since a few weeks, but we're free to turn off the radio or tv no?

And what is it about comparing what happened in the WTC with people dying from AIDS in Africa?
Of course it is terrible that the media never focus as much on people dying from poverty, hunger, disease or from war, as on people dying in a *spectacular* and massive terrorist attacks.

But let's respect the death of the WTC victims as much as we respect the death of others.

Now it's the entire fault of the media if they only focus on such events and not on others.
The fault of the media.
huh.
But the media are only here to feed us and give us what we want. *W*e buy the papers, *we* watch this kind of tv.

We simply have some kind of bad consciousness I guess sometimes. And me the first, no problem.

A big comforting thought to those who lost someone dear to them in the WTC attacks**~~*^* *

Contrasts

While outside the temp's reaching 28°C, that everybody's having a nap before enjoying bits of summer, I'm about to start working on my paintings enjoying a new perfumed candle smelling "nature after the rain" ;-)

I can hear a popping cork outside, is it champ'? At 4.00pm, t'is a bit early, but why not.
I'll have a coffee anyway.

Now it's quiet again, not even a damn pigeon to bother my lil ears. Too hot for them too maybe?
I'll enjoy loud music anyway. Something electronic, helping me working fast enough. Fluke maybe?

...grabbing my pen...woooooooosh!

an angel under construction

my younger sister is expecting her third baby!
Yeeepeeeee!!!

That's done then: she and I do not live on the same planet anymore!
She's just entenred the "heroic parents" sphere, I'm impressed!

Impressed and smiling too, smiling for remembering that my lil sister used to drive me crazy when she raised white mice, about, hmm, 20 years ago.
Life has changed but her maternal instinct has continuously improved since then it seems!

Victim of the fashion (but not really a fashion victim!)

Ok, I know, you are already looking at the doodle below and you think (with a lil devilish smile, yes yes don't deny it) "Candy has put on weight it seems"!
hehe

nenene, sowwwy my devilish friends!
It happens that I need a new pair of jeans soon. And it happens too that it's getting very hard to find normal jeans!
You will find normal ones, yes, but cut for ladies beyond 80s maybe! (sowwy grandmama, I've nothing against your jeans!)

So I have to make a compromise... the cut that I want with a low waist because... the fashion is in the hands of the LOW WAIST!
Which is a problem for those who are feminine (I translate for the devilish minds: a problem for those who have wunnnerful curves!)

To fit in a low waist jeans, you've to be rather skinny or very hungry, otherwize with these jeans (being like 6 centimeters below your bellybutton), you risk a explosion above, the lovely love handles turning into bloody love cushions or something like that.
Poor love handles, they do not deserve such a treatment, they're shy! They don't like to be exposed that way!

Free the love handles, don't let the low waist rule!
(come on, sing wiff me)
Free the love handles, don't let the low waist rule!

Ya remember school lunch?

It was a first time for Lola yesterday...
She's having lunch at school 2 times/week (then she has 2 other opportunities to eat something made .... with love, you know?! :P)

And for her very first time, she got really what I hated at school when I was a kid! lol
She had sardines as a starter and ... (getting very pale here) rice pudding for the dessert!
eeeck... but she liked!

I remember also how much sick I felt when there was on the menu ... hachis parmentier (kind of smashed potatoes mixed with meat), or beetroots, or beef tongue!
(faint)

Can you remember what you had for lunch at school? Did you enjoy?

But I think food at school has improved a lot, the meals are pretty sophisticated and made by food specialists. So sophisticated even that some parents start to complain: their kids need to eat basic stuff too, like pasta and potatoes sometimes too! lol

Mon bonheur du jour

(my happy moment of the day)

... is now, just right now ... enjoying a glass of dark red wine, enjoying music, with my babes fully asleep!

+

Haaa my lil devils, I Love you as much as you can feel it (and much much more), but a quiet moment is also much welcome sometimes!

Have a sweet peaceful night, my babies

(yeeeeeeeeeeeepeeeeeee!!!)

I did it ! My new blog's online!

Yeeepeeeeeee!!!
Ok, I should wait before talking of it because my new blog still needs some work but... I can't help it!

My other gallery will close in the next couple of days and I'll only use my artblog from now on. More practical for me and I guess more simple for the visitors.
I really hope it will be pleasant for you, I (with the help of my techie guru, of course) made this blog, always thinking about the visitor. A minimum of "clicks", simple presentation, etc.

I've added a few new paintings, and comments about every painting I present.
From the idea of an artblog to its achievement, there have been zillions of neurones boiling and burning here...
Watta work!

And now thinking I've to take care of 2 blogbabies! This blog, which is rather a teenblog (worse!) and my other one! Pfffff...

I need a nap now :P

Geoloc's heartbeats

I've just intalled the free version of the geoloc map (not the static one) on Gulli!
Dat's kewl, before you could have this lil map for 10 euros/year I think. Now it's free and I love watching the lil green circles like heart beats on that map.

(Sitting down on my chair, enjoying another coffee, waving at your heartbeats :P)

Back to school

Lola's left to start her second year at school.
She's not even 4 and she has to spend her mornings and afternoons there. A bit long when you're that young!
The French system, on that respect, is really not so well adapted.

But she left without any stress (unlike what the photo seems to show), she was happy to discover her school teacher, a man, and find her lil friends there!
I hope everything's ok! Stressing moment for a mama ;-)

4 hours

Dat's about the amount of sleep we got last night.
I feel a bit like "huh, it's gonna be a bloody final battle between you -Sunlight- and I, zombiegirl"

But it's our fault, ok. Jumping into bed at 2.00am when the lil devilish one starts to make noise at 5.15, is not the best idea...

Anyway, despite feeling a lil bit tired, the weekend's started wunnerfully: on a lazy and greedy mode! Phewwwwwwww, I think I can survive with that!

Amour sur la peau

I've found it!

After more than an hour suffering testing any kind of perfumes (including those you've recommanded in a previous comments), I found my new perfume. 60 euros! ouch!!!

My new Amour is a mixture of scents: "heliotrope ,white tea, frangipani and cherry blossom, thanaka wood, vanilla and musk".

I find it soft, very light, I love the flower and sugary touches in it, and I find it deliciously pleasant to wear.
It's KenzoAmour, another perfume from Kenzo. I guess his perfumes are definatly made for me 'cause I've tried zillions of other perfumes, determined to take the ONE that will suit me! And I fell for Kenzo again :)

A blog is born

A blog is dead, but a new one's just born.

it's here, it required hours of boiling thoughts and hard work from the blogpapa, but the baby looks really good!!!

A yummy goodie for a purrfect Friday

Simpsons

just got it from Martin, in case you haven't seen it already... hope you enjoy! :P

Material fantasies

(girlie minute #1)

I think I have now quite many whishlists on several websites, yup yup.
I am a very 1985 Madonna, material pleasures can make my days (sometimes..ermm...often!).
Material fantasies too.. like playing lottery or making online wishlists!

I don't like shopping at all. I swear it (not spitting for this one though!)
I always go for shopping it on a stressed mode, keeping an eye on my watch constantly. Since when would mamas have real time for shopping anyway?

pffffff...

Besides I almost never find what I really want. Worst to find are shoes and underwears!

Anyway, online shopping is really made for me. I can shop at midnight and take my time. dat's kewl.

OOps but I'm not Jackie O.!!! and I do not get any golden credit card. So I make wishlists. Filling my baskets with dozens of wunnnnerful treasures. Knowing that when I get the lottery, I will simply click to validate my baskets and spoil meself.

happy sigh

Blind and deaf

(girlie minute #2)

I've just remembered that the first time I watched Nivarna's Smells like teen spirit video (about a zillions years ago, huh), I thought it was Sting getting high.

I miss a bit Nirvana sometimes (not that I was a huge fan but I enjoyed), nekkid pic of Sting too, sometimes (isn't it the way he eappears in mags most of the time?)

Overdose

(girlie minute #3)

My time with you is over. We shared about 3 wunnerful years together, but it's time for change. Sowwwy, you made my days, really, but we're about to take different paths now. You will recover, even without me!

I think like some other women, I really NEED to change of perfume regularly. Every 2, 3 years.
And when I say *need*, it's that suddenly I really can't stand my perfume anymore.

And I've just made an overdose of my Flower by Kenzo.
I will never wear it again (spittin far)
Like with my previous perfumes, Angel, Lolita Lempika, jean-Paul Gaulthier, Cacharel's teen stuff (ouch!), once I've made my overdose of them, I really can't stand them anymore.
I even wonder how I could wear them..
Not very nice of me because I forget easily the pleasure they brought me, huh!

Now I wonder what will be my next one. Any idea?

And I wonder how a woman can wear the same perfume all her life... To me it's like keeping buying the same pair of shoes year after year!
(eeeeck)
(faint!)

I feel like ...

kicking hard in the butt of Autumn whch has about nothing to do around here in August! No manners, really!

Mama Nature, if you *hear* me...

Bretagne in August... ouch!

edit: I'm a pretty good butt kicker it seems! Look at the sun shining outside!!! -I've found my new vocation here! yeeepeeee!!!-

Nicolas will get my vote

... but no, not the Nicolas Sarkobidultruc, oh nenene.

We're going to have a terrible autumn and winter and a rotten spring with French elections to come next year.
So if Nicolas, this one could join the party... that would be a relief!
I will feel less politically desperate, and will happily go to vote then :)

Nicolas, if you read me, or rather really *hear* me...

Like the winkle stuck to its rock

Today I feel like getting rid of my cape.
Supa moma Candy needs a break you see.

It seems so easy with everybody.... but me!
I need a bit more. Socially, intellectually, zenitude-lly too ;-)

"Only 2 kids, pffffff... too easy. How can you complain?
You're at home all the time, doing nothing or so. Ok, You awake at 5.30 am everyday, but if your lil winkle needs its rock that early, then take it easy!!!"

Well the rock is not in good mood today (but is improving via some blogtherapy ;-).
Jealous of the mamas having a job, frustrating for being unable to multitask, feeling like the only one on Earth getting exhausted only by taking care of 2 babes! Oh and I'm angry at meself for complaining right now. lol

Well, it's our choice and at the end I'm really happy with it.. honest :)

(thinking)

phewwwwwwwwwwww

I'm doing better... I know this is what I want. It's just that being a full time mama is not easy. You can never have a break.
But t'is ok. Lola's getting independent and Loup will understand winkles sleep at night and can survive without their rock near :)

Thank ewwwws!

From myth to reality (I'm still under the shock!)

During the hol', I always read people magazines. Ok. No shame! I do things like that sometimes! Even Penny knows I may watch once a year something close to YR...!
hehe

Well, these magazines feel yummy when you have your first coffee in the morning... at least most of the time!

I was looking again at Pam Anderson's photos. The photos of her verynotvulgar and so refined wedding. Purrfect topic to start the day: "have you seen the*just married* on her panties? I want the same!"!

BUT

shocked, I got shocked by this photo below (coming from Gala I think, thank you guys for spoiling my day btw .. or for the Enlightenment, I wonder! ).
Somehow something sounded familiar on that pic. I could not put the finger on it immediatly. It was just too *big*!

Why so shocked do you think?

Because Pam almost gave THE proof she was not from earth with her 3 arms?

Because her clone on the right apparently managed to catch the flowers without spoling one single drop of champagne?

nenene...

The answers starts with Lars and finish with Ulrich
(faint)
I expected him anywhere but there! Pffffffff
Where were the 3 other ermmmm .... *rebels*, huh? Eating carrots with miss Richie? Baby-sitting Brad and Angie's baby? or trying to comfort Tom with his lil probbies with the Paramount?

...Working on a new album I hope!

Summer-ish postcards

And here are the holiday photos. Soon when I have time (...), I'll activate my account on flickr I think.
It's just that...

I NEED TIME (if someone above can hear and help me.. thank you!)

***

Anyway, Loup is now 10 months-old and I believe he won't be a calm angel!
He does not walk yet but has no problem trying to turn the gaz switches in the kitchen, or to kick in empty glass bottles, or to eat carton, or to put his fingers in sockets! Oh and since he has teeth now (6 teef), he can pretend to kiss you gently... but after a second you feel a terrible bite in your skin! The *devil kiss*, his speciality!!!

As for Lola, she's changed a lot lately. More concentrated on what she's doing, she can read or draw for hours!
During the holidays, she has started with her first "horse riding course". As she was the youngest (3 years 1/2), we decided to stay a bit to see how it happens. And it was hard! She fell from her poney, had so much troubles knwong what it meant to go to the left or to the right... but she did it!
I think she was a bit too young to start but as she really wanted it.. Now I'm proud again of the shrimpette :-)

Holidays à la Candy ...

..require much energy

-first holidays with two kids (ha yup, last year I was *just* pregnant), and I can see the difference..:)
With one kid, you're pretty busy, with 2 kids you have to pray every morning to get 30 quiet minutes!!!

-Not that I'm complaining, but when your kids go to bed at 10.00pm minimum and both awake during the night to finally get up at 6.00 (Loup), you need to start your holy day with 3 good mugs of strong cawffee.
(and when I think Martin's parents were here to help us, I worry very much for the next months taking care of the kids alone from morning to evening. How other parents do, I wonder!!!)

-Martin and I managed to work in the hobbit house (details to come later) between 4 and 6 hours everyday! We're very happy with the results and if things go as we plan, we believe the main big works will be done by 2009. Electricity and plumbery to follow in 2007. First we've to read books to learn how to do it! lol

..teach you a lot

-a little toe is not much when a huge rolling stone comes over it (ouch!), a pneumatic drill can take power over you and DAT's scary, nails are bloody painful when you walk on them (double ouch), wood is fooking heavy (the award goes to old oak beams here), mineral coal's incredibly heavy too, wood dust is much worse than stone dust, and varnishing stairs is about the worst job I've ever done!
(wanna join and help next time? :P)

-I had no time to read anything really but I could make use of some wunnnerful old university books to improve my English (vocabulary). I kept visited thesuperficial.com too, neurones have to work in every way possible :P

-omas and opas are reaaaaaaally helpful!

..but are relaxing and festive too (phewww!)

-we could open a restaurant, we all cooked as to make the perfect meal everyday and I'd give 4 stars to all of us :P

-despite a pretty stormy weather, we jumped in the river pretty often (a bit less in the sea actually, too much cold wind)

-Martin and I are really good at fishing velvet swimming crabs (lovely expression that means "étrilles" in Frawnch)! Yummm again!

-Loup loves bagpipe, the neighbours too (thank Gawd since we played outside till midnight sometimes!)

-nothing, NOTHING can be compared with a lazy nap under the roof in the middle of afternoon (that happened... once)

****

Now I just wonder what it feels again to simply be a tourist on holidays, with a cam around the neck and a few euros to spend in th next pub! lol

Unpacking luggage

pfffffff

the worst part in (ex) holidays me say!

But I'm supa happy to be around ewwws again! I'll be back as soon as I have a minnie!
woooooooooooooooosh

Thursday, August 03, 2006

To my blogvisitors :)

I'm packing luggage, you know what that means, hmmmm? haha! Yeeepeeeee!
I'm almost off, leaving tonight... for 3 big fat heavy weeks!

To the regular visitors, my friends, I wish you as many relaxing times as possible. Don't behave, don't drink cheap wine, don't wear white sox, take care, and all that, ya know **~~*^* *

Now if I don't know you yet, but you're coming regularly on this blog, then yeeeehaaaaaaaaaaaaa this post is also made for you!
Just leave a comment so that I can wave back at you for once -when I'm back- :)
And if I don't see any comment when I'm back on this post, I'll be very very sad you know! And that would be terrible !

Okies, where's the beach now!

PS: got rid of my cold just in time! Phewwwww ... :P

Tu veilles sur la galaxie

...et sur mon bloggie aussi
(je te revaudrai ça!)

Voilà, I let my bloggie under the protection of the pirate of my heart below

Blog, blog me do, you know I blog you!

lalaaaalaa

As Martin and I have way to much time to waste ;-), we both are working on new bloggies!

Martin's changing completly his blog, he has suddenly been very inspired to make the blog he's always wanted to make. Free of daily boring lil news (which is NOT boring on some bloggies, I ermm INSIST :P).
Something very Martin-ish (cheers!)

And as already mentioned, I'm working on an artblog, blogart or bloggallery, as you want. Not easy to make, but I'd say with the help of Martin I've done 70% of it. Well this blog for ewws all might not be really exciting, but I swear (I do not *promise*, I only *swear*) it will be nice enough, and a big change from the old gallery that will be sent into the Paradise of websites soon. Oh and there will be a few paintings you've never seen.. never ever! how about that, hm?! Teasing enough?hehe :P

lesson number 478, chapter 27

If you think keeping your kids busy and very active all day without interuption -without a single nap- will make them exhausted enough to go to bed early, happy to start with a peaceful night...

.........

... well you're wrong! You should know better than that, huh!

YOU will be the real exhausted one and YOU only will do anything to reach your bed
(and nope, you won't jump into your bed soon enough! What did you think!)

Vive les mariés!

The BlogSphere has been very fertile in the past months... So many births here (nods nods) and there!

(happy sigh)

And today it's a wedding we celebrate! Yeeepeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! Champ' on the way!

If I remember, today Fennelin has jumped into the optimistic crowd of married ones!

481...

...photos selected to be printed, which represents a year (july 2005 - july 2006).
Ok now we all have digit cams, but I still wanna prints of the best photos.
It is so much more pleasant to watch them on paper and not on a screen!

As for the price, they've changed a lot too. For 481 photos (10x13cm), guess how much it costs? 43 euros. Much cheaper than what we used to have before, huh!

Hawaian Queenette in Paris

I think Lola has a real sense for fashion!
When she starts with "mom I come back, I go to dress like a prince and put make-up", she NEVER wants me to help her, and then she usually comes back after 30 minutes, minimum! LOL

10 cm shorter

If you expected a post about the political perspective in the Grail Quest, not your day, sorry!

As promised to Jenny, I put a pic of my new haircut (Jenny's new hair cut is on her bloggie if you're curious, and I bet you are!). Well, I just asked Martin (my official hairdresser) to cut 2cm maximum, which turned to be 10. Not big change anyway!

I just HATED Martin's first reaction with the scissors in the hand: first cut and he started to laugh histerically! Something was WRONG..;-)

...and it doers not show but I'm still with my sticky cold! Coughing, heaving headaches, etc... 2 weeks now! Pfffffff
(no, the doc is not necessary)

Army dreamers

is the song echoing in my head since I woke up (glad for once it's not one of Lola's songs... like bloody "fleur de vanille"! lol... phewwwwwww)

It's one of my favorite song by Kate Bush. I've never been touched really by what she did till quite recently. Martin's a big fan, so I can explore his albums :)

Found

Finally I find the second season of Lost even beder than the first (we only have it now in France).
I know, that's a very useless post... so I will add too that I REALLY wonder how come the young couple living in the flat above (just under the roofs) can stand spending their days at home without going out. Never ever!
I mean it must be 37, 38°C just under the roofs right now... And they stay there, boiling. I find that very strange!
And never going out... hm, so bizarre!

Anyway, with Lost and my neighbours, there's so much suspense in my life that I think I need an ice-cream just right now. I don't go often to cinema anymore (thank you my lil devils), but I can create the purfect *conditions*, see :P

Wordpress-ing me

pffffff.... here's about the way I feel after 2 hours trying to do stuff with images on my new art blog (on Wordpress)

(by Juan Giménez)

There's a lil something I can't fix and that's driving me crazy!
Thank Gawd I have a *computer guru* at home that will help me.... but I'm still grrmpph-ing at meself for wasting so much time!

I wonder how so many people make so many great stuff on the internet... I still feel like wearing thick gloves when it comes to fix internet lil problems!

highly phylosophical thoughts

When a whisky tastes like thick water and when the over full nappies of your baby does not smell anything, well... keep taking medication, you still need dem

Sweating when not absolutely wanted is definatly a very unpleasant experience

When you speak a foreign language, it seems you don't have the same voice really

Ironing turns to be the worst invention when temperature raises above 30°C.
But... at 20°C, 10°C, -10°C, fook, it's still the worst invention!!!

All men selling electrical epilators should try it once to avoid false publicity

If sharks can stand any kind of temperature, when will the nasty ones finally come around Bretagne, I wonder

5.45 am

That's when Loup wakes up, ready to play. 10 days he's done that now!
Bloody heat!

(sigh)

Loup has just turned 9 (months-old) and life must be like Heaven to him with Lola and I around him all day!

He wears now clothes for 2 years old kids but he's still *small* enough for me to bite his lil feet with huge pleasure :)

It's simply indecent

..inappropriate
..incomprehensible
.. and really inconvenient

to be still sick after more than a week when outside temperature never goes below 33°C

(sigh)

Days are really long when you feel that way and have to take care of lil devils suffering too from the heat.
Thank Gawd I have my lil doctor to take care of me! Phewww

"Tronche de cake"

Voilà, if someone is good at explaining dreams, here's one I've had a couple of days ago, when my fever was really high..

I'm Joanie Cunningham, the wunnnerful sister of Richie Cunningham, ya remember? From Happy Days!

Here's a pic of *me* and my family

Anyway, I'm an old Joanie who meets several years later her dear brother "Richie", also famous for being a bald director (Da Vinci Code, Appollo 13, Willow, etc).

And here's the main point of my dream: I'm mad, really mad at Richie because he never gave me a supa role in any of his movies. Me, his sister, nothing!!!!

grmmphhhhhh
Well, life is not fair!

Mega Lights :P

It's been 5 years now we attend the Fete des Megalithes every year. The 3 first years during the night and the last 2 times, on day time.
Still fantastic!
Oh nothing incredibly sophisticated, just the most pleasant village party I've enjoyed so far!

It's organised in a field of megalithes and the legend (I mean my favourite legend) says that in some ancient times, a gang of fairies were carrying big old stones to build the Mont Saint-Michel when suddenly they got so tired that they decided to rest... and finally forgot their big stones on this field :)

We had old games for kids and adults, tales with/about real giants on one corner, lil band with flute and bagpipe on the other, hams under fire during all day at the other end, craftmen from the far far past showing their talent and funny druids losing their white-ish hair during ceremonies, etc.

We loved it!

Oh except for alcool, HERE was THE main problem: cider and beer were worse than catweewee and that was a pity. (sigh)

39 versus 37

We're back in the boiling Paris; I could hardly believe my eyes when I saw temperature had reached 37°C (under the sun)!

And I'm still coughing hard, recovering from a bad bad... cold (!)
As soon as we arrived in Bretagne, I felt sick. Felt awful, sore throat and eyes, terrible headache and a temp' of 39°C for a couple of days.

Pffffff... Really, I was mad at meself for being that sick with my babes around, and just when Bretagne around was so sunny.
I "took a day off" to recover, but otherwise we manage to work pretty well in the hobbit house. Still on the walls mainly (yawn)

Now in Paris with the kids and the heat and the end of my cold, it's not fun! But again... just a couple of weeks and this time we'll have real holidays! Yeeeepeeeeeeee
