A label made my day!

Yesterday I bought new jeans, not too expensive 20 euros... I have about 6 pairs of jeans here but they're all a bit too large now. Really can't wear them.

Anyway, I bought them, was happy to have found them (jeans, really it's even worse than shoes, very hard to find some who fit when you don't have a regular tall-thin shape!)

so there you go, normal pair of jeans:

When I tried them, Martin cut the labels from them.
Then he said, "oh but you've bought a SLIM ?"

whaaaaaaaaaaaat?
Lemme check that, I answered...

I bought a slim!
LOL
I did not know!
hehe, I have a slim, which is such a good joke (I have a body made for everything but a "slim"!)
Woaaaa I thought anyway that would make a great post on my bloggie (comme je vais me la péter avec mon slim! niark niark)

Zillions of flowers

10 euros for 5 bouquets... such a price, I'll never get used to it!
(happy sigh)

This time we got roses and lysanthus :)

but the most beauDiful flower is definitely this one ;-)

Wisdom, twins, and a surprise!

Been a busy week, sorry I'm not being original...
...though I wish I could just type that I've spent 3 days burning in the sun and drinking tequila sunrise, but nenene.
It does not work this way :)

I've got at least time to work a lot on my new project and will get back to it after my "blogger session" :)

Lola
She went back to the swimming pool 2 days ago... She was very nervous, asked me to come with her there... I refused with a broken heart (I want her to know she can succeed without me around, you know?).
Her teacher knew the situation, I had also talked with the few parents who went there, and Lola was very well surrounded.
Everything went perfect! She was changed of group (joined those who are still learning to swim and who have fun playing in water ;-).
A relief!
Phewww :)

Twins
I've a very good friend at the fitness club, it's like there is much complicity between she and I, just the kind of complicity you got when you were at school, laughing, winking, telling jokes when the teacher was turning his back etc.
I see her there when I follow the courses, and it's never boring. We make a good pair and share our fun with the lil grannies there :)

The only strange thing is that she hates internet, she finds it boring! //oO\\ which makes me laugh naturally! :)

Instead of studying like at school, we just do exercise, adding some singing and dancing to it. So good.
She is 27 and student in literature/sociology at la Sorbonne.
We realized the other day that we had the same gyno! lol
Wooo
hehe, I mean, how often do you meet someone with who you get on well and have the same doctor, hm? okok
We both hate driving, she has her driving license since a couple of years but still drive every Sunday with her dad to feel comfortable.

Oh and we just realized that we were born on the same day! haha! Well she was only born a couple of years after me huhu... hehe... but hey same day! Which provoked another good laugh the other day. Dunno why I share that here but I felt like it :)

Wisdom
Yesterday morning I had some appointment with a (taking my dictionary here) stomatologist recommended by my dentist.
On a Saturday morning... (yawn)
I had another wisdom tooth to remove and it was like time to do it. So I took a first rendez-vous.
I arrived 2 minutes late, but hadn't had to wait a minute there (cool!)... The specialist was nice, friendly. He watched a scan of my teeth, asked me if I wanted the tooth to be removed now... I wasn't prepared for bloody surgery (hehe I don't exaggerate trust me!), but when he told me it would take 20 minutes maximum, I said yeah ok.

20 minutes later, I was smiling at the mirror, cleaning the blood that was still on my face.
I paid 90 euros (I expected a LOT more than that... a specialist working on Saturdays, in a classy place near the city hall of the 15th arrondissement!)

And it did not hurt at all (got enough injections to avoid it anyway)

I'm still on painkillers which rather makes me sea-sick and sleepy than anything else, but that was the best experience I've got with a "tooth specialist" :)

Surprise
My mom and her hubby spent the weekend in Paris, moving in a new little flat. They came back to Britanny earlier today where they discovered... an adorable lil new born one!
We have our first baby sheep!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
yayyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!
I will show you pic asap!
I can't wait!
The father, César, is a bit hmmmm violent with the baby if I understood well (which is a typical reaction it seems from the species), and I'm not sure who's the mom, Scarlet or Rosalie. I think it's Scarlet. (editwrong: the mama is the shy Rosalie! :-)
These sheep are already so small that you can't tell if they're pregnant or not!
lol
We had no idea!
Awwww
That's so cool! :)

edit
here's a lil one with the happy papa and mama:

wishing you all a fantastic week!

Octopus Powa

Have I ever introduced Gijs on here? Not sure... But some of you know him from Facebook, huh :)

A good friend of us, living in Finland. Very friendly, clever, funny ! ... the qualities my friends usually get (OK I'm done with compliment for 2009! hope you all enjoyed :D)

Gijs is an "internet" friend (though that sounds so*cold*!), we met for real last month and shared a very good time together!

Gijs was travelling to Greece, and we got yesterday a postcard from there...

a *collectionnable* postcard you see... and definitely one of the best (kitsch one, do I need to precise! lol) I've got :

LOL just brilliant!

baby snail, jigsaw, Guingamp, etc :)

Life can be such a fast train, hardly any time to sit down, relax, take some distance on what's happening, well... except when I write on my bloggie :D

Last week has been a *cooking* week.... Lola's teacher organises a 1 week trip soon for Lola's classroom. Some can't afford the trip so they decided to sell cakes and collect the money to help those who need it.
So we've been cooking lots of cakes, and buying LOTS of cakes, and eating simply too many cakes :)

Talking of sugar, Jérôme came to visit us..... with delicious chocolates last week . We spent a very good time together, despite his hmmmmm very unique jokes :P

And Jérôme might become a neighbour in the future! That would be so cool!

Then we left for Bretonie, where we got 1 hour of heavy rains, just when we arrived (to be sure I'll start the weekend in good mood ;-)

Then it was really sunny. Walking barefoot on the grass felt wonderful!
When Bretonie is so welcoming, then you never regret 4 hours driving...

We also managed to work pretty much in the hobbit house... finished the endless painting of a bloody ceiling...

We went on building the walls of the bathroom... (Gawd, so much work to do when you have to do everything yourself!)... Plaster sheets are SO heavy, so fragile, but very practical!

We've found the tiles too that will come on the plaster parts... yellow almost white, orange, darker orange..

I think at the end of summer, I will be able to have a bath in the lovely bathtub... can't wait!

Oh, and for once, I've worked in the upper garden, it's just... the weather was so good, I had to be outside!

Martin has made a lil movie, another visit of the house with Loup presenting each room... So scary to see all the work that still has to be done! If I get the time I'll put it on here, it's quite funny and good :)

PS: I was to forget about Guinguamp... 2 Bretonish teams for the French soccer final, I couldn't escape soccer this time ;-)... the atmosphere was not bad at all, we even had fun, but really...
...soccer sucks!

A week in 15 words or so

It's been a great week.

Received our taxes forms to fill, taxes, electricity & gas bills to pay.
(shrugging)

It's been a good week!

-with a three days weekend, huh

-with a Lola stopping having nightmares. Lola went to swimming pool 3 weeks ago with school. She's been selected in the group of the "good ones", despite the fact she does not know yet how to swim.
Well, she's got a very bad experience. Was sent into water and just went downwards without being able to do anything! You don't have instinct in water when you're a kid, oh not at all. She spent like a few long seconds under the water before she was rescued. Since then, she's scared :( Terrified!

Martin took Lola yesterday to the same swimming pool, so that she can get used to it again in a comfortable way. She loved it.
Had no nightmare, first time in 3 weeks! :)

-with the very Bretonish Jerome visiting us! He, Remi Gaillard and I spent a great moment! Oh he comes back tomorrow for a short visit! yeepeeee!

-with a family lunch at my grand-ma's, a great moment with her and my sister's lil family. One of my favourite family ritual :)

-with a first experience earlier today at *body combat* ... nothing violent in it, just very physical, ya need a pretty good heart to not collapse! ;-)

And it's been a great week because about a hundred other reasons. I am very lucky.

Paris is not that bad! ;-)

... well if you forget that living in Paris is awfully expensive, then you'll notice Paris is quite ok, for the rest (talking prices here).

I mean, you can dress and eat for quite cheap (you have so much choice anyway, you can always find cheaper stuff!)
... When I go to eat at JB's, I pay what, 8 euros! When I buy the best bikini I've ever bought, I pay 18 euros!
When I want to buy "average flowers" I can buy 5 bouquets for 10 euros!
I can take the kids in many different, exciting places for really not much.

etc etc.

We wouldn't have a bloody rent to pay, Life would be quite easy in Paris.
I've just realized that, really. Paris is not that *that* expensive, if you forget about the main detail ;-)

Can you guess...

...why,behind this smile below, I am so happy?

The answer is on the picture, itself.
Well you can guess only if you read every pots I write since at least 2 months!

huhu :D

(the one who finds the answer will get.......... a tagada!)

Very... comics!

Lola's teacher has visited my painting website the other day... and the female character of Operation rescue Major Tom reminded her a lot of a science-fiction comics she loves Valérian and Laureline. I've never been muuuch into comics actually, until a few weeks ago...

I had never read this one, so Lola's teacher gave me 2 of these comics :-)

On my way to Bretonie, I took them, and my first Metal hurlant issue, and my first meta-barons comics Othon le Trisaïeul...

I read them all in the car (I had to wait 34 years before being able to read in a car without feeling sick!)
And what a pleasure I got!
Oh my Gawd, it was intense!

Valerian was very funny, with all the science fiction words (Valérian, agent spatio-temporel! lol) invented in the 1970s to talk about the future, so good!

Metal Hurlant... will definitely get all the issues I can. That is crazy... science-fi,fantasy, erotic, but in a crazy way. Sometimes I jumped on the seat screaming "oh noo, they can't go that far"! And they usually went "further"... hehe waww! so creative, no censorship, so good!!

And the cast of the meta-barons... olala.. ages I've know all the visuals.. But I was never so much into comics. I've started reading it really... Small literary orgasm if I may say. Loved it!!! Can't wait to get the next one now !...

Books are nice, but comics... lots of images and small texts! hehe ... it's fookin good sometimes!

Are you into comics, hm?
What's the last one you've read?

(I hate Tintin by the way! :P)

Madame Alfred

... is the funny name of a beautiful kind of rose that we get in our garden.

The same way I hate cooking, I don't like very much working in the garden. But I love a good meal, and I love a beautiful garden! hehe...
Thank you Martin for being so complementary to me! Martin LOVES working in the garden (and cooking too!) :)
He planted Madame Alfred, a old type of roses, last year... And this rose on the picture above is the very first Madame Alfred we get! The perfume is wonderful! (happy sigh)

Martin also planted tulips, though he and I are not tulips fan at all! But... he found these...

...with petals like fire tongues! SO beautiful!

The last good surprise of the weekend was the *Lily of the valley* (what a wonderful English name for the boring French "Muguet") in full bloom! I like it a lot
Took a big bouquet of them back in Paris, so that the kids could bring some to their *maitresses* :)

Love, etc

Before leaving back for Paris, Lola asked my parents to explain Charlie why she had to leave... She felt she lack the courage to tell him herself!

awww

She's so cute and so crazy for Charlie :)

My babes came back to Paris with lovely "apricot skin" and blonder hair (Loup is still half blond half red, very strange colour! lovely!). They enjoyed a definitely SUNNY Bretonie for 2 weeks.

In May, we'll get all these supa long weekends... we'll be back only once in Bretonie, next week... and then, we wanted to take 4 days for Hamburg, too expensive, shit. We thought, why not taking the kids to London then, lol, more expensive of course. We'll stay in Paris then... and ok, it could be worse :D

Gotta start playing lottery again!

With and without...

...my babes... (boooo!)

Last week, I was in Britanny with Lola, Loup and other relatives. Almost no rain in Bretonie, can you believe it! It was even.... warm!
hehe... woaaaa!
It was a great week, Loup (3 years-old, huh), surrounded with girls most of the time, was a very funny lil tarzan showing whenever he could how strong he was! hehe
Oh, and the clown in him keeps improving... he now tries to make "jokes" all the time! Well, jokes à la Loup, huh...

Loup: "mama I've lighted a fire all by myself"
me ---> fainting : "no!!!! where???"
Loup: ".... mama, it's a JOKE"!

Lola, haaa...(smiling)... Lola had an intense week of horse riding and she successfully passed her first horse riding exam, the "gallop 1" ! I've worked on it with her the whole week (because you have a theory part in it), and I was stressed! She was not at all. lol
So she got it and I was very proud!
The next day she lost a tooth (tooth fairy making a wonderful job by the way! :P).. and on the same day she managed to ride for the first time a bike without the lil wheels. Oh my big girl! :)

(I love that cuddle above between Martin & Lola!)

Eva, their cousin, helped me a lot with Lola and Loup, that was kewl. She celebrated with us her 11th birthday! My beautiful niece, already brilliant horse rider, has such a pleasant personality, strong one too. I love spending holidays with her :)

And now I've been in Paris for a few days... missing my babes!!!
But enjoying the free time I can get... I thought I'd get longer days, but no, I'm still running everywhere!... At least, we have wonderful relaxing evenings! Been invited at Jenny's the other day (fantastic time there), went to restaurant two other times, and tonight we join Mr Esox for another unique evening! hehe... life's not too too hard this week ;-)

We'll leave on Friday evening for Bretonie, to finally join my lil ones and spend hours cuddling them! (happy sigh)
Then we'll come back quickly on Sunday because we're expecting a mooooooost exciting visit from Gijs and Irmeli, coming from Finland! The beer is ready, the wine too, and so I am!
:D

Well, life's speed and wonderful this way! :)
Cheers!

The garden of eye candy ...

...is THE next book I'm gonna find very, very quickly!

I stopped in front of it the other day... such a title, such a cover, I was instantly curious, and very quickly inspired!
The artbook presents the work of different artists, painters, illustrators... cartoon style, fairy tales, eroticism sometimes, gothic touches often... etc
A LOT to feed the imagination!

It was a bit expensive for me though... 45 euros... will find it somehow at a better price on the internet!
But anyway, I love discovering, when I'm not looking for anything, such little treasures!

:-)

Bretonie & Dragonnerie

I'm running!!!

Will be off (well, looking at my eeepc..... not sooo off lol), but we go to Bretonie tonight for a week :)
Can't wait for (sun) spending lazy times outside, (sun), lazy times in front of the fireplace, (sun), working on the hobbit house, oh and (have I mentioned it already?) SUN!
:P

And I have just finished my dragon painting! I have never worked so much on the colours, it took hours and hours, and hours.
From the very first idea to the final touch, there has been incredible work... I must be slow, really! lol

A quickie for a full week !

nurse: that's what I've been for the 10 past days with Loup getting sick, then Lola. Thank god my in-laws were here to help! They're doing better today, and the sun is shining hard on Paris (20°C!!!)

relief: did I mention on here that I had lost my wedding-ring on Valentine's day? ... Well, no I haven't found it yet... but my in-laws both told me they had lost theirs too! lol Oh?! so I was not the only one on Earth! It felt good :)

surprise: I can't believe how much time I spend on my painting! It's never been like that! And as far as I know, time does not make quality at all! ... I really *need* it to be done now!

ego: ...boosted (kinda) after a young one (I'd say 18 years old) came to me (who really look like a wreck) in the fitness club to tell me nice words in a trembling voice (so cute!)

pride: I still hate push-ups (les pompes, quoi), but I'm getting pretty good at them! And honestly, I would have never ever thought this would be possible one day!

politics: still waiting for the G20 to turn into some G158 ... (sigh)

time: missing it for everything, an order of 15 candle-holders (15! I mean 15!!! that's a LOT to do!)... that I can't simply manage to start! (will do it in Bretonie next week I think)

south America: the other day, my gyno told me -in details- how kewl Brazil was (she was just back from holidays). Never really though of South America for travels, I'm always attracted to the North! Which country would you visit there? Argentina would be tempting enough I think!

tragedy: my coffee machine has just broken! I'm a coffee addict, it's a bad bad day for me!

plans: so, next week I'm off in Bretonie with the kids... and the week after I'm back, without the kids, in Paris for a full week! Sounds like perfect holidays to me :)

The guest

Arthur spent the weekend with us.
Lovely (quiet) lil one who's one of Loup's school buddies.
He came here with his luggage, pyjamas, toothbrush, etc etc.

He went back at school this morning after a wonderful weekend. With Loup, he took care of a sick Lola (because when Loup went back to school on Thursday, it was Lola's turn to be sick! Doctor again, etc! pffff -she's better today-).

Arthur accompanied us for a family lunch, he met my grand-ma, made faces when she started talking about politics, loved her ice-creams.

Arthur never took part in Lola & Loup's fights, but loved it when Loup and he decided to dress like cowboys!

The best time for him (at least that's what he told me with a wink) was the DVD time.
The lil devils had chosen for him... Paddington adventures!

Nice quiet weekend with our lil guest :)

Heart beating fast

Haaaa..... Metallica's concert...

No way I can't blog about it!
When I think of it, I feel like a kid, I want to go back in time I want to feel the same vibes, the same excitement again.

Alix joined us early in the afternoon. As soon as she was here, I was 14 years old again! (Alix+Metallica have this effect on me :D)
Try to think when it happened to you again... hm, no, it does not happen often, right?

Fantastic feeling.

We spent like 4 hours outside waiting, had drinks, read gossips' magazines, made girlie statistics (how many cute guys around? How many long haired-ones?), we've looked for the best tshirt, the worst ones, etc... We sang (Cyanide, living dead inside, lalalalaaa! ok, I stop :D)
... We just had to find ways to kill the time! ;-)

Then well, from our group (of about 10 people), Alix and I were the first ones to enter the sacred place! Oh yeah! hehe

We ran like crazy to get the best seats.
Got stopped by security.
(lol ouais on est des supers rebelles, nous ;-)

Finally got the most perfect seats.

Once the others joined, Alix and I rushed out to buy sacred stuff. T-shirts!
We got them, then rushed to the toilets to put them on, oh yeah!
....Made about a hundred pics of each other in the toilets! lol
...girls!!!!
(shaking head ;-)

Then we went to get drinks for everyone and found a few minutes later that everybody had gone with the same idea!
lol
had a fine collection of pints at our feet I tell you!

Adrenaline was rising, thousands of people here to share the exact same pleasure.
Woaaa!

The show was awsome, I type all these words and I feel all the excitement vibes here again :)

the kind of moment in life when time simply stops :)

Metallica rules! hehe
(ok I stop!)

Final countdown

Sun expected over Paris tomorrow.
16°C
Will be there beginning of afternoon (might catch a suntan hey!)

I wait for them since years!!!!

(dancing around)
(counting the minutes)
(boiling)

Fever

Loup has got such a bad week (since last Friday actually).
Painful otitis.

I'm really thankful again for the paediatricians (a couple working together) to be available on Saturday mornings.

Well, Loup got antibiotics. As soon as he got them, he got worse, much worse, probably developed some kind of allergy: high fever, red large spots everywhere, and stomach troubles (vomiting etc).

I could reach again the doctors the whole weekend, Sunday included ("old school doctors", no? so available!). Went back to see them yesterday morning.
We change the treatment, got a stronger one (sigh), so Loup is not well yet. Had another bad night, bad day.

Great martin's parents are here to help!

On top of that, Loup decided to open a can of mushrooms all alone and naturally had a very painful cut!

(here's a drawing for his mistress, he spotted all the pains on his face and body)

my poor lil devil!!!

The Collector

I've never been really into "collections" ... accumulating stuff just for the pleasure to "have them all"... (shrugging), no... but then... It was before I received my 3 first issues of Métal Hurlant !
They're so good that I can't wait to find more of them. So many ideas, visuals, such a motivation from the artists, it's already a big big source of inspiration for me.
And when inspiration is involved, then I can understand the desire to "collect"!

My priority

is, just right now, updating my blog!
I'm running after time, crazy!
The days are short, the nights ... shorter and I don't find a minute for meself!

My beloved in laws are here since a couple of days... they read my blog and then brought me back lots of Mango body butter! How lucky am I hm?! :)

Oh then they also brought me back a lil thong I had forgotten during our Xmas holidays! lol
ermm.... I usally only forget a pair of sox!

hehe...

So, mango body butter, thong, oh and I forgoet a lil something... thinking...

oh!!!

:P

They brought us our new car! Yeah yeah! They sell us their car (toyota yaris, same as the one we had, just in dark green colour) at a very interesting price! So cool!

Perfect in-laws! :)
(and I don't say that because they read my blog! hehe nope! I truly love them!)

Butterflies and paparazzi !

What a great weekend (we finally won a match at rugger! -Jack, no comments, thank you again :P-)

On Saturday we had rendez-vous with miss Lune, at the Jardin du Luxembourg.

Paris was very sunny, it was just wonderful to spend this time with Lune & her lil family! (the mini one is so so cute, always smiling!!)

I also brought Lune, the painting she bought!

I was very proud to deliver this painting, I like it a lot!

:P

Oh, and guess what (I should REALLY work for people magazines!), as soon as we arrived, I saw Manu Katché! yeah yeah!

So Ok, he was not so friendly so I took a trick pic (sorry for my lil family! lol)

and then I could make a close-up

hehe... hey don't tell me you don't know him! :P

Totally body buttered

Voilà, I've already made a post about Mango body butter (I know I always focus on what really matters!)... but...

I've now discovered the papaya body butter!

And it's almost as good as the mango body butter!
(I'm not sure you realize how important that is!)

When I see how happy my skin is with dem, I'm sure I'll never buy the expensive stinky lotions. Used these body butters during my pregnancies and they've made miracles!

(happy sigh)

(memo to self: next week, gotta talk about Sauna again!)

Heu, trop stylé !

One of the terminators (at my fitness club) is crazy for this song, we get it all the time while under torture... so yeah, that's the one which has been stuck in my head since yesterday!

Terrible!

But when I saw the video of it (for the first time actually)... I felt blessed, such a terrific video! lol

You get all in one there:
-drama
-fashion (ha les lunettes de Pia! Les épaulettes de Germain et le torchon style sphinx des motard)
-rain (ben c'est dans le titre quand même)
-kung fu
-no happy ending
-des regards qui tuent aussi!!!

Enjoy :P

Corrrrrect

huhu

thank gawd my grand mama watches the worst news on tv... hehe... I was in them! My glory lasts 3 seconds.. you can switch to 24min41sec other wise you'll enjoy the full news (yawn)

The weekly post?

Once a week seems to be my new blogging rythm.. which is not fixed of course but naturally appear to be this way. Very kewl to me! No time anyway to do otherwise ;-)

I had a fine week, even if instead of spending money for boots I spent it at the dentist...(sigh)

But the kids have not been sick, and it has finally stopped raining :-)
I haven't sold any painting, but could work pretty much
I haven't done as much sport as I wanted but could go with Lola's class to the swimmingpool.
I haven't slept enough but do not feel tired.
I haven't won lottery but got real good laughs with buddies!

Life's been beautiful this week :)
Cheers!

Rugger.... bummer!

29-0 in the first half (please Jack don't comment this post! thank you :P)... The French have been so bad, the English so good! (and I'm being so objective I surprise meself!)

Really that was THE match we had to win. Pffffff...

At least, after the first try (in the very 1st minute), I decided to multitask which was the very best idea I've had! grmpphhh

James is coming to town sooooon (lalalaaa)

2 weeks and 3 days before ... we get them

Wooaaaa! I'm counting the days, the minutes!

And yesterday, we joined miss Alix and her most adorable lil one for a great afternoon...

... the plan was to spend good time togeher naturally, but also to deliver Alix her Metallica's ticket (which was done very religiously of course!)

The kids had great fun, and Alix and I could ermm share our plans about James H. when he comes to Paris :D hehe
Crazy girlie fans mode on, really. REALLY!

Easy peasy

Oh Michelle, thank you for that brilliant idea!

The kids love cooking, don't they?
Mines do. If they could cook all day they would!
And I can feel soon they'll make, with much happiness, my meals on weekends! hehe yeehaaaa

Now I don't like to cook.
Cleaning after cooking is the worst. Cleaning after the kids cook is the "worst" worst ;-)

The other day it was cold and rainy and Michelle (my American friend here, and cousin actually) told me she bought *industrial* short pastry (pate brisée déjà faite quoi) so the kids could have fun making biscuits.

I thought hey why not, my biscuits recipes are always crap sooo it wouldn't be much worse.

It was brilliant, no mess and happy kids. And not thhhhhhhhhat bad.

Of course I managed to spoil some of them...

... but the rest was rescued :D

Fast

I only heard Bashung's suffered from cancer a few days ago and bang, he's dead.

Life's so short.
Just gotta enjoy every bit of it, hey!

Dragonade

Voilà, another week *just* to finish the final sketch for the painting!

The wings have been really hard to "organise", the tail too... and you, well *I* can't do it quickly, I work, then gotta stop, then come back later with a most critical eye, then modified the wrong movements, shapes etc.
So different than when I just grab water and colours and wooosh just let myself "go" on the paper.

But a very different pleasure.

I've finally started with the watercolours today!
Phewww :)

A week in 10 words

been such a good week!

... till I broke a tooth, a couple of hours ago!
grrmpphhhh
THAT really sucks!

So ok, I know the whoooooooole World just burn to know about my week ;-)

-Mahie got her driving license and woaaaa, I was stressing so much about it! like a lil mama, trying to keep her mouff shut to not spoil everything!
I just knew she'd get it, she's been working so hard on it, and with so much tenacity!
(Amen!)

-I've bought sport shoes, the first ones I buy since I've started training a lot. I feel Like Dorothy & the wizard of Oz, but with sport shoes.

-I've had lunch with my tattooist, then helped him renovating a bit his shop. Had fun! We're getting friends :)

-I've been offered a rose by one of my Terminators (trainer at my sport club), in the name of "womens's day" today (after so many tortures, that was the minimum he could do. Loved it)

-I've been to restaurant, alone for the very first time... no, wait, not alone! With a book of Juan Gimenez. Had such a good time with my beer & my book!

-I've watched the last 2 parts of the Zeitgeist documentary. I've tried to take distance with it, but I think they're not far at all from the truth and that's pretty scary. We gotta fight back! :)

-I've started watching the last season of The Office (US one) ... and it's so GOOD! ((thank you Michelle!)

-I've never had such a high bill for gas and electricity! (boooo!)

-I've bought lingerie and good wine. I just know how to prioritize ;-)

and I wish ya all a brilliant coming week!

Taming the dragon

Been a week now I'm on it. This dragon and its rider.
Creating take so much time (for me), then you gotta sale your work. The most boring part, yet the most important one.

Anyway, the "research" part is so so interesting. I want to paint a dragon and its rider. The painting is in my mind from the very beginning. Movements, colours, attitudes. In my mind the painting is done. Perfect.
My fingers are less cooperative than I want.
My talent less active than I wish.

So I have to work to *create*. A dragon, a rider... many details people wouldn't notice...
... how a dragon turn his head
... what's a dragon's saddle
... which kind of wings?
... scales, hairs, skin... what is my dragon made of?
... is my dragon a pet or a wild nightmare?
... if my rider can tame a dragon, does she need any other weapon?
... etc.

Anyway, that takes time, energy. But I'm so fookin lucky I can "simply" work on *a dragon*... :)

Mom will take the kids in Bretonie during the second week of Spring holidays!
I was supposed to go back to Paris with them... but I'll come back alone! haha!
s'pèce de mère indigne!

They will have the time of their life and so will we :D

If anyone is around between the 19 and the 24th of April, huhu, I'll have time! wooohooooo!

Spoiled lil devils

Holidays are almost over (yeeepeee!), next ones start in a month or so (faint!)

Lola & Loup have spent a fantastic week in Paris, and I must say I did too.
We went out a lot, spent too much money of course, ate too many candies, but it was damn good.

We spent half the time in the metro, which was, by itself, very entertaining for the kids! :P

The week was full and I don't even mention the evening, the rugger times, etc!

Monday
Volt (Bolt in English) ... The kids loved it
Tuesday
The agriculture trade show of Paris. Way too many people for me!
The kids bought with their pocket money ugly hairy lil things. Loved the chicken and the cows.
Wednesday
The Tale of Desperaux.. I did not expect it was so good. But very good! Will get the DVD for the kids and meself!
Thursday
Theatre, "La forêt des choquottes"... very funny! Loup was just a bit too young (but he loved) and Lola and I really had the laughs of our life!
Friday
I needed a break. Did not get one really since we decided to cook! We made Michelle's cookies. We missed something, we completely failed! (still spent 3 hours near the oven, hoping a miracle would happen!)
Saturday
Back to theatre to see "Once upon a time", crazy, funny one!
Sunday
Finally I could rest with a book...
....naaa, that's a joke, I can't rest on weekends! :P

(I'm really happy the kids go back to school... I really have to work and that was just impossible!)

Doomed

The other day I bought a huge pistache macaron to Loup.

He left a tiny bit on the table, and I couldn't resist it, and finished it. Or wanted to.
Had a fist bite.

DELICIOUS, fantastic, close to heaven.

Had a second bite.

TERRIBLE, hideous, nightmare-ish!

There was a big long thick blondish hair in the macaron.
A situation that keeps happening to me more often than the mind could stand, remember?! lol

I'll keep stuck to my salads and its lil insects, at least I know what they are!
