Double challenge (testosterone included)

Yeepeeeee! it has just started! weeks of rugger! I don't want to miss any match of the World Cup.
The lil challenge will be to be able to wake up in the middle of the night... and to avoid wanting a beer at this time of the night... I can't drink that late! (Despite my perfect training, huh! :P)

It's gonna be all good !

Back to my beloved pollution!

...and to my high heels (wearing them already!) and oh god, to my big BOY! Yeah, my big computer! Large screen, real keyboard and enjoyable mouse... God, that makes a difference!

I'm sorry for the lack of words here and there, on blogs, on FB. It was hard to get time to sit and enjoy. I'll take my revenge : ))

okok, I'm just posting my holiday postcards for now and relax a bit : )

During this past month, I can say I was quite relaxed, yet always thinking hard... about work mainly. Love too, sex sometimes. I'm transparent.

Not a clear blue sky in my head though, never. I enjoy that pretty much.

My devils, my demons. Loup caught in the toilets again (after 35 minutes, I start to worry!), this time with my books about pin-ups! lol. Really....... so cute!

My tigers... loved the countryside of course, and easily got used to it. We had many cuddles times and lazy times. So different from the past years. Perfect

And of course... beach stuff.
Hey it's summer after all : ))

Bretonie (part 1)

A week I've been here now... And I'm not suffering from lack of civilization yet! Yeah!
Gotta say the lil house is getting so cosy and comfortable, the hard works for years are paying for sure! :)

So far (yes, yes, enfer et damnation, I am talking of the weather) we've got one beautiful day only. Sunshine, lazy mood and rosé wine (I like rosé, shame on me!;-)

3 hours of sun and rosé wine versus 6 days of rain and delicious planteur cocktails. Life isn't bad in Bretonie!

I welcome the rain, I could work without frustration on the orders I brought with me.
Better, I've started working for myself. Looking through the looking-glass you know. Loving it.

I want to update my blog regularly and I will, I'm just sorry for the bad quality of the photos... my screen is so bad that I can hardly see what I am posting (sigh).

Martin, the devils and demons are like in paradise. It is good to see them enjoying the time without the Parisian stress (that I love : )

Avoiding dark waters

We came back early today from Hamburg.
It was intense. I wish we were geographically closer to my beloved father in law. I miss him already.

The devils have been very helpful, bringing their innocence, their optimism. Angels, really (no no, there's nothing contradictory in what I'm saying :)
We tried to distract them sometimes. It worked, and for us too : ))
Never under estimate the power of lil ones!

And just now, I'm sitting down and relaxing, sipping the best planteur cocktail I've ever got (.. life sometimes make lil things taste so much better than usual)

I might be talkative today tonight!

:P

Spring in the flesh

I was born in May and May has never felt so sweet, so exquisite.
Every little pleasure gets intense. A fruit, a cuddle, a lil nap, a dream, a sip of white wine.

Spring with whipped cream (sighing with pleasure)

Why do you think I train soooo much, hm?
haha
I just love life (and pushing, and sweating), easy! : ))

Sport... musculation, cardio stuff... yeah, that's hard, demanding (addictive, funny, liberating, delightful)

... but then I get such rewards from it and really do not experience any kind of guilt on lazy Sundays! ;-)

Heaven!

Paris by day

Why do I love Paris? Just * that * is enough to sum it up. Paris by day on a sunny day is truly fantastic! Just stop and sit down on a terrasse, or walk along the Seine, just enjoy the polluted Beaudy and you can reach heaven :)
Paris by night is as much tempting, as much wonderful. More maybe. Secret corners everywhere. Totally magic.

Just before leaving for Hamburg on Sunday, I had lots of sport, enough to break me at least... but with a lunch on a sunny terrasse in between, that felt like heaven!

On St Patrick's day

... fait ce qu'il te plait :P

and that's about what we all did in our lil pub, just next to the sport club.

The ultimate reward... that we get most regularly :))

Don't make your John Galliano !

I'm lucky enough, I can stand alcohol pretty well = I fall asleep if I make REAL excesses. What about you? Do you paint the walls? Do you get naked and dance on the table?

You heard about Christian Dior's stylist's scandal, right? Martin had not of course. :P

It's all about John Galliano being drunk and telling how much he loved Hitler.
John the kamikaze.

That's a pretty bad thing to say huh. I won't put a link, because exposing that vid is almost as disgusting as the words that were said.

I think even if drunk to death I'd never say such stupidities (I'd be snoring I told you!)
Yet... the guy was drunk. Does that make what he says true? I wonder. He was drunk.

The girls were quite aggressive too -and not drunk! - asking if he was blond, etc. I'd take it pretty badly if I were drunk. BLOND !!! grmmphhh

Anyway, all that is not so important, lol. I just see a bunch of hypocrites spitting on the drunk guy. Of course his words are just terrible, but he was badly drunk, that does not help to be clever.
And I don't want to imagine what Karl Lagerfeld does or says when drunk! :P

All that anyway is a good lesson of life, if you get drunk, don't do it in public places! Do it at home, in safe quarters .... aka Don't make your John Galliano!

What's your favourite sushi ?

Octopus. Oh yummm!
I have just tried octopus sushi and I felt very bad... because I simply LOVED it and at the same time I've always found octopus absolutely adorable.
Ok, I eat lamb and rabbit, so cuteness might be quality criteria, don't know!

But anyway, the octopus I had was nothing like rubber, it was melting, delicious. Just typing about it, I'm drooling again. lol : ))

When the kids make a toast, do you know what they ALWAYS say?

"à la santé des locataires !"

It took me some time to discover where it came from. And it was from tv! From Wallace & Gromit...
In the "Wrong trousers" episode, they welcome a nasty penguin and make a toast (minute 10.05)

Since then (about 2 years now), my devils only my a toast to "the tenant" ! lol :)))

Beaujolais day ?

As a student, I have pretty good memories of that great marketing event... Happening religiously on the third Thursday of November; it's almost winter, it's always cold, rainy, and celebrating wine sounds like a cool idea.

I wonder if that Beaujolais nouveau  is even known abroad or not.

I don't know why I bought a bottle earlier, I won't even drink it today... I'm just a good target when it comes to wine! Unfortunately the Beaujolais nouveau isn't the best wine, honestly. Well, with luck, it's * drinkable * if you drink it during the event, that is!
Then you're in the mood to celebrate, it's quite cheap, so there you go... you forget you drink crap! lol

Well, I remember I have tried some not so bad in the past, but really... never heard anyone telling his favourite wine was Beaujolais nouveau and there is obviously a reason to that.

edit: I'll try it tonight, won't resist the fun of it (memo to self: one day gotta test my level of "resistance" when it comes to fun, I'll be seriously scared!!!).
This year they say it does not have a touch of banana but rather of wild strawberries! Yummmm? Yummm!

Reputation (not fake)

When I go for lunch at JB's, just downstairs, JB serves me 2 beers, directly (=without me asking for anything)! LOL
I swear I can never get used to that ... I mean it! :P

Of course I refuse he does that all the time!
but it's his way to make me feel welcome.

And at some point, you gotta accept with a big smile when you're offered such a pleasant surprise!

Miami Vice

the real one tastes oh so good!

I've just put 60 pics on FB and just can't do it as well on here (I don't use Picasa or Flickr, life's too short! :P)

I will add a few other pics though, hoping it will give you a taste of Miami.
People looked at me kinda strangely when I said I'd spend a week over there. They would have chosen anything but Miami. Some had been there and were disappointed.

So I wasn't sure anymore if I'd like it there.
Oh but...
What a wonderful surprise!!! It was much beyond my expectations. Of course I was privileged, I was in South Beach, and there you get clubs, art, restaurants, tattoos studios, the sand and the beach. Palm trees, huge, everywhere.

As soon as I arrived at the airport, (once I passed all the security stuff! too much, too long!),I knew I'd love it.
The heat, beyond 30°C, almost night and day, I got used to it pretty quickly. Sometimes stopped the AC in my room, opened windows, just to feel that heat.

Give me a art studio well located and a good school for the devils, I pack the luggage again :P

The sea, so blue, so warm, is so much part of the city. It makes of Miami quite an exceptional city! Tropical, inviting.
I could see myself running along the golden beach every morning before going to work. So much energy boiling there.

I spent half the day exploring other part of the city (some being SO SO poor), discovering art, talking art, etc. .. and the rest of the day, well, on the beach. Loading batteries before getting back to the cold and strikes :)

The only more negative point is that it's really expensive overthere. You would just die from shock in front of the prices for alcohols!
But I was really in one of the posh parts of the city, I expected it.

There I've almost heard more people talking Spanish than English, that was also quite amazing. Loved that diversity of culture.

I've caressed alligators, tasted them too, enjoyed the best happy hours, got often lost, swam among dozens of fishes, purred in the sun, and explored a lot. What I wanted.

People were so nice. Americans being open and very helpful, I had no doubt about that, just a confirmation :))

And about travelling alone? Hard to leave everybody but so positive to be with oneself, to load the batteries. I really recommend it! Martin gotta do once, being an explorer with the bag on the back like in old times (when we were ermm younger! lol) feels great. Looking at new part of the world with virgin eyes. The world is beautiful.

And well, South Beach's made for party Candy, for sure!

The little tavern on the prairie (5 crowns!)

I had no idea what would this room become.
Suddenly it looks and feels like an old tavern, no kidding!

The old table (18th century, yeah I'm proud and I bet the table has seen lots of pretty asses! :P), the candles and oil lamps, the "ivrognier" (just the name is inspiring, I can't translate it, just know that "ivrogne"is a drunk man, an "ivrogner is some kind of old furniture in which you can put bottles). I don't have enough bottles yet. lol. Well, we have, but they never last!

There's also a Christ somewhere, I did not want him in my house. Can anyone start a petition for me? :P

Anyway, when you enter this room, you are in a tavern! You only see half of it on the pics, there's also that big fireplace in the middle of it! ... and when you start sipping your Bretonnish (or not) beverage, then you expect thieves and whores and weird creatures (like you!) anytime! I love it!

Besides, I think I beat Caroline Ingalls on her own ground (phewwwwww!): the lil tavern on the prairie sound much more cool!
