Conan the hunter (a totally disgusting story)

My posh kitten, my pride, is a tiger inside! haha! I was actually so proud when I followed him the other day (see guys, always keep your camera in your pocket! that's the only way to get crispy scoops!).
Conan had found a hole, and just kept trying to put his paws inside.

I thought he was playing with stones.

But my boy looked excited, jumping around, coming back. He was really trying to pull something out of the hole.
I bent down and was to check inside when a super nasty pair of eyes looked at me from the darkness (I screamed, ran to the house, really jumped on the wood table and called for heeEEEEeeelp!!!).

 A big, enormous and very ugly toad (he looked so mean, thank god I was much bigger) was there.
I'll never dream of fairy tales anymore (it was about time, I knowwww)

Kissing frogs and toads, no thanks. Give me a real prince!

Anyway, we gave a chance to the toad to escape Conan. Just one chance. Then, I would have let mother nature do its job and Conan get his first prey.

The ugly toad escaped.
He will probably meet a girlie toad, live happily ever after. And get..... lots of ugly baby toads!

Moogly in the jungle

The lil black and white intruder, we've known him since a few days. The kitten gets on very well with Conan and Satan. I thought they'd fight, be jealous, etc... Not at all. They keep playing like crazy.

The devils have also a big weakness for him, of course, but they know he belongs to the Bretonish jungle and would be very sad in a small Parisian apartment.

The lil kitten has a broken tail it seems, his tail must have been caught in a door or something like that. He does not suffer at all, but if I get the time on Monday or Tuesday, I'll take him to the vet.

He is very clever, already found on my table good pieces of meat to eat! he must be 4 months-old, super small stomach, and he can already eat what I eat! But he purrs and cuddles so easily... that I forgive him anything (told you he was clever!)

News from the demons :)
Satan the brown and Conan the grey are now travellers and adventurers :) They've visited Germany and seemed they enjoyed it a lot: new leather sofa to scratch, a balcony with lots of birds around, many lil stuff on the shelves to play with : )

They're still practising to have babies, but I think (hey I HOPE!) they're not matured enough. And I stop them whenever they start again (well really it's Conan's initiative!)
But I think next month they'll both have to be operated :(

Both start to have their lil habits.. like Conan being crazy for MY breakfast! pfff.. he actually always finishes it (just what's left of milk and cereals), because I get bored of his attacks!
I'm so easy, like with Loup... if he just insists and insists for hours, at one point... I give up the fights. lol (btw: that has never worked with men! only with my devils and demons! :P)
Satan, she loves water and gets very good at spreading any full glass or open bottle. Soon one of them will voluntary take a bath, I bet ten bucks on that!

Conan is getting much bigger than his lil sister. They're so typically male and female, I really love that!
Conan is a crazy teen, just rushing in a closed door if he's playing without paying attention!
Satan is more reserved, but sharp when it comes to catch flies!

They cuddle a lot when they clean each other; Conan is being very dominating, and Satan... well Satan totally enjoys that it seems! hehe * happy sigh *

Happy Meal

Here's my new collage, and another to follow in the next days! yeahhh!
Collages. A passion. I really love the other freedom collages can give, the kitsch side of it makes anything possible. Things that wouldn't work in a painting. That is very exciting.
 

I'm really happy, might be the first that will hang on my walls (I usually don't put my own work on my walls, there's so much of myself in my work, that it would be like facing mirrors everywhere. Eeeeck. Does that make sense? lol I wonder)

Again, the photo quality betrays the quality of the collage. It's quite splendid (laughing! no false modesty allowed it seems) when I see it here next to me.
On the photo, it's not sharp enough and it's hard to avoid any reflection because of the varnish on it, which acts like a lil light sucker!

 I'm looking for a plain frame for it, black. I'll sell it framed, with no glass, no need for one :)

 It took me days and days to make it... Collages look simple to do, but it's SO much work. There's always a lot I want to express on my paintings, even more on my collages. I create my realities, my world. Ok, there's always a "front page" story, here a kitty feeding her kittens... and behind a lot more. That's what I like, apparent simplicity hiding a lot more, if you want more. But you can take it for what it is too. Just a fantasy collage, with a mermaid playing the sardine : )

Conan's a real boy, adventurous, he tries the craziest actions, often fails, crashes in some awkward way on the floor... but never surrenders. Obstinate he'll try again and again.

He's also very LAZY and affectionate, he spends hours stuck to me, which makes me the happiest (despite the lil fleas he's carrying! pfffff)

Well, trust me I can make the difference between human boys and girls!
With kittens, I need more practice it seems :P

So Satan, is not a boy, nope. Satan's a GIRL! Yayyyyy! Another girl @chez Candles!
I should have guessed though, she's so delicate, she has a tiny adorable face, she's fast, a bit shy but already a promising hunter!

and she's clever, oh yeah! She already reads subtitles, see! :P

10 days now Conan and Satan are part of the family!


On the first day, they were a bit shy. Just seperated from their mama (sigh)... who started to push them away, anyway.

They did not know where to pee. Which was the expected big source of stress to me. They were not clean yet. Soon we discovered they peed under the Xmas tree! lol. Yeeehaaaaa!
But 24 hours later, while the Christmas tree was suffocating (not from their pee yet but) from their mini feline attacks, they were clean already. Fantastic.

Ok, when I change their litter and it's all new, they like it SO much that they both start to sleep on it! //OO\\

They're very very affectionate, they don't hide, they don't fear Loup and his strange behaviour (Loup has introduced all his weapons to his cat.... Conan of course :P)
Conan the grey is very affectionate, he's bigger, he loves fighting too.
Satan, well, we're still not sure he is a male (lol), we even think that finally Satan is a female. (Let's talk to the Pope now! he gotta know!). Satan is much smaller, very clever.
Both are so affectionate!
They sleep with me, well on me, my neck, my breast. I feel feline with them around.

And god, something I do not regret at all (so far :P)... is having 2 cats! They play together all the time!!! they attack each other, clean each other, play, cuddle and sleep. Oh I would recommend that to anyone.

Their mom is a tabby cat (chat de gouttière), their dad... we're not sure, 3 possibilities. But the ex owner told us that among the three there was the most beautiful cat she had ever seen. A big angora one. And well, they both have really long hairs! I don't care about who's the papa of course... but honestly they are the most adorable kittens you can imagine!

Yayyy!!! I'm going to be a mom again!

The other day my gyno told me I was in perfect conditions to have a third baby...
huh???
A third baby??? haha!!!


Yet, I thought about it. Gave it some serious consideration.
Finally, I took some decision........ and * things * happened!

... but I just don't know who the father is!
* shrugging *
I'm a modern woman anyway! :P

And, well, it's a boy! He already gets my eyes with such a clever sparkle in them!!!

And then... big boy has a lil sister... I wanted a girl since Joe's death. And they're always stuck together. My flat's tiny but they'd be happy together no? Is it too much work, too many HAIRS?

Dunno. I must take a decision before Monday... I really do need your advice...
She's so cute, and shy and I want to  protect this lil creature (who seems to have the sensitivity of her mama - ME - !)
