More sugar for the soul

Been a supa tough day, been eating avocado etc, you see. You don't? nevermind. It got better, later :)

What do I need just now? Sugar and a long night of good sleep.

Yet it is not as bad as it sounds (or as it looks on the pic); I've started looking for unusual jobs, I feel rage to succeed.

Hungry Candles : )

Lollipop

Painting lollipops, I don't care really (wait.. I mean I kinda love it!). I gotta go straight to the point, you see.

Life's too short to be subtle!
Well in my own way, I am though, trust me : )

Hot season ... for nuclear shrooms !

I'm crazy for mushrooms, really I love them... cooked with almost nothing, some salt and pepper.

Girolles are my fav at the moment.
Whenever I see them, I sigh and smile and  do not resist at all.

they're quite expensive and I can only find the Golden Chanterelle mushrooms (other name for girolles) from Russia...

Martin always shakes his head telling me i'm going to eat again nuclear mushrooms ;-)
So be it, I'll get nuclear, but I'll have them!

Now on the much more erotic touch, you just can't "not love" mushrooms! can you? :P

Red temptation

Today, I (truly) found an apple lost in a bush of Ivy...//oO\\... full, round, so red. I couldn't resist it. I'll keep it for a while, I think it is a magical one. You take it, caress it, and something good should happen... but shhhhh...! : )

Mojitos and sexy Blonds

Who wouldn't fall for a ....sexy blond mojito?

No one drinks Manhattans nowadays! ** shrugging **
We're all into Mojitos since about a year or two! (but psssshit... whatever the fashion is, god, Mojitos are simply exquisite!)

No Mojito will taste the way you do it. And suddenly I am quite sure you'll remember the recipe! :P

Vintage tats 'n girls

Aren't these photos super cute and sexy!

I really love these photos. I have books and books about tats from early last century I've been instantly fascinated by the people then getting tattooed. The contrast between the time (that I imagine kinda old, formal, dusty, in black and white really) and the wilderness of the tats!

I love the eroticism of these photos too.

Probably due to the contrast again of the time and the act of tattooing. Also because I imagine it was far less accepted for women to be tattooed and it must have been some kind of real freedom act.

Freedom's sexy! lol (et je dis n'importe quoi moi parfois! :P)

a red fairy tale

Just for me : )
Once upon a time (erm, last week)  it was my birthday, but I wasn't into the mood.
I had just lost someone (my mom in law, a couple of days before) who used to make the world look so much better.

I felt like... who will make the world look better now she's gone? I was not very convinced. Down, really.

But then, a friend of mine, an adorable lil woman with freckles and sparkling eyes, knocked at the door. I opened, surprised.

She was standing there, grinning, with 4 kilos of strawberries.

4 kilos!

"happy birthday!"
she said

Suddenly he world looked really pretty.

Spring with whipped cream (sighing with pleasure)

Why do you think I train soooo much, hm?
haha
I just love life (and pushing, and sweating), easy! : ))

Sport... musculation, cardio stuff... yeah, that's hard, demanding (addictive, funny, liberating, delightful)

... but then I get such rewards from it and really do not experience any kind of guilt on lazy Sundays! ;-)

Heaven!

Paris by day

Why do I love Paris? Just * that * is enough to sum it up. Paris by day on a sunny day is truly fantastic! Just stop and sit down on a terrasse, or walk along the Seine, just enjoy the polluted Beaudy and you can reach heaven :)
Paris by night is as much tempting, as much wonderful. More maybe. Secret corners everywhere. Totally magic.

Just before leaving for Hamburg on Sunday, I had lots of sport, enough to break me at least... but with a lunch on a sunny terrasse in between, that felt like heaven!

A bunch of roses for James : )

Because all that matters, because it's bean ages I had not seen James in his tuxedo, and never ever in a weird dress ... :)))

merci, James

What's your favourite sushi ?

Octopus. Oh yummm!
I have just tried octopus sushi and I felt very bad... because I simply LOVED it and at the same time I've always found octopus absolutely adorable.
Ok, I eat lamb and rabbit, so cuteness might be quality criteria, don't know!

But anyway, the octopus I had was nothing like rubber, it was melting, delicious. Just typing about it, I'm drooling again. lol : ))

When the kids make a toast, do you know what they ALWAYS say?

"à la santé des locataires !"

It took me some time to discover where it came from. And it was from tv! From Wallace & Gromit...
In the "Wrong trousers" episode, they welcome a nasty penguin and make a toast (minute 10.05)

Since then (about 2 years now), my devils only my a toast to "the tenant" ! lol :)))

When Caroline Ingalls gets suicidal tendencies

I've cooked all day, or so! yeahhhh (got the proof below! I'm SUCH a Caroline, sometimes!)

I love giving the devils a sense for treats. Ok, I hate cooking, but I hide it very well for my babes. Today, it was pretty fun, Lola was reading the recipes, like holding the magic book with magic spells... and Loup, lil man of action, was making the cooking part.

While cooking, we always discuss a lot. And then, I started to talk about Christmas. Told them Santa Claus has an official toys list called .... "amazon.fr"

God, I am so naive. They left the cooking instantly and spent hours and lots of sheets of papers to take notes. They've made endless lists.
Loup wants everything in the "weapon" category. EVERYTHING!
Lola wants ... as many things from every categories !

Now they wonder if Santa can really cary everything in a single night ...

The little tavern on the prairie (5 crowns!)

I had no idea what would this room become.
Suddenly it looks and feels like an old tavern, no kidding!

The old table (18th century, yeah I'm proud and I bet the table has seen lots of pretty asses! :P), the candles and oil lamps, the "ivrognier" (just the name is inspiring, I can't translate it, just know that "ivrogne"is a drunk man, an "ivrogner is some kind of old furniture in which you can put bottles). I don't have enough bottles yet. lol. Well, we have, but they never last!

There's also a Christ somewhere, I did not want him in my house. Can anyone start a petition for me? :P

Anyway, when you enter this room, you are in a tavern! You only see half of it on the pics, there's also that big fireplace in the middle of it! ... and when you start sipping your Bretonnish (or not) beverage, then you expect thieves and whores and weird creatures (like you!) anytime! I love it!

Besides, I think I beat Caroline Ingalls on her own ground (phewwwwww!): the lil tavern on the prairie sound much more cool!

talking to the Chocoholics, here...

Come on, there must be at least ONE chocoholic around here! I won't ask you to quit, keep getting your chocolate fixes -I do exactly the same - :P

I've wanted to try something unique since the other day.
And the chocoholic in you is going to be jealous, I warn you :)

I saw this guy on tv, Patrick Roger... a chocolate magician. I have no word to express how much his chocolates are a temptation. Because I could follow the process of creation, the passion involved, the talent put in every of them!
Nothing industrial, based on the very best products. This guy creates magic chocolates. You'll bite them, suck them and then you'll *know* Heaven will be close.

I've experienced that today.
I had to.
I was a bit nervous, would I be disappointed?

Some are looking for crazy experiences, I look for my own ones.

Earlier today I've bitten some chocolate from there, made of basil and lemon.

I was to die from pleasure.

I highly recommend you to never resist this kind of temptation... I could feel the difference (on so many levels) between a chocolate and his chocolate.

Le hamburger de Lola

I had promised a really good restaurant to my shrimpette months ago. This week, we were alone for lunch, so I took her out.
I wanted something that will be part of her childhood's souvenirs, something she won't forget. She was very impressed with everything:
"Mom, why do the guys keep coming and peeking at us?"
"Mom can I used the table napkin? It's so white so far"
"Mom can you read the menu again and explain me why they put cabbage in the profiteroles?"
(in French we say "pâte à choux" for "puff pastry",
and we use the word "choux" for "cabbage")

"Mom, can I have a hamburger??"

Of course she got it!
They happily served Lola what she wanted, and at the end of the meal she couldn't stop complimenting the chef, telling it was so much better than when she goes to Mac Do' ! I believed her because usually she never finished anything... but this time there was nothing left in her plate! :)

Lola has also been adventurous, she accepted to try the raw mussels I had ordered.

Osyters too, she IS adventurous!

Her lil bro is much more conservative with food, if he does not recongnize what's in his plate, he'll ask for something else! (*shaking head*)

We had a real good time. It was too short though, we had to get back to school quickly. But sometimes we'll do that again, when I sell a painting or two! lol

oh, and here's a wink for the French gang (nobody from abroad can't possibly know "him") ... Can you see the lil "intruder" on the photo, hm? (lol well, ok, you won't have to look for long it's quite obvious!)
