Paris, Roger, Reds, Ramblings

Well, first day at school and the leaves are just flying all around. That's the paradox: the season is changing, nature losing its colours and lil jewels... but I don't know the melancholy of autumn, to me It smells like new year's starting! .... ** stretching, awakening from summernation **

Everything is speed just now (lol) but in a more organised way.

Multitasking had reached a ridiculous point, I couldn't properly work, I couldn't properly focus on one thing at a time in the past weeks.

 Ooops !
Did I say I was more organised?
Because I've just realized that on next Sunday, I have my self-defence course in the afternoon, and ohhhh merde! ...gotta do my Parisian race in the morning! lol

6km only! phewwww... After such a day, I bet I'll sleep like a baby! Anybody will still be welcome to sing a lullaby.

Support
I need some.... Martin wants Loup to learn violin, and I don't think I can stand that at home!!! You know what it sounds, a kid learning violin for years? ... I'm a good mama yet... I know my limits!

Finally
My devils are back to school. Loup has just started a big year, about to learn to read and count and everything that will give him more freedom! Yayyy, I'm so happy!

At the same time my babe is so small in this big school, with big boys all around! Boooo
Hard to be a relaxed mama.
But hey, he's got a great teacher, and same for my Lola. They both got the very best, I'm so relieved... and well, ermm...  happy! (sorry I'm repeating myself ;-)

Familly thingie?
Tonight, they're back to ballet and Judo, while their papa will be training at krav-maga and just before I go for musculation . I guess we're into sport! lol

Is there anybody out there?
Before I forget, happy birthday Roger! ... Roger Waters, I do admire his talent so deeply... yet just like John Lennon, I've never got good vibes for the guy. I need to meet you Roger and check by myself! So.... come back to Paris with cheaper tickets next time, pleaaaase : )

Conan the hunter (a totally disgusting story)

My posh kitten, my pride, is a tiger inside! haha! I was actually so proud when I followed him the other day (see guys, always keep your camera in your pocket! that's the only way to get crispy scoops!).
Conan had found a hole, and just kept trying to put his paws inside.

I thought he was playing with stones.

But my boy looked excited, jumping around, coming back. He was really trying to pull something out of the hole.
I bent down and was to check inside when a super nasty pair of eyes looked at me from the darkness (I screamed, ran to the house, really jumped on the wood table and called for heeEEEEeeelp!!!).

A big, enormous and very ugly toad (he looked so mean, thank god I was much bigger) was there.
I'll never dream of fairy tales anymore (it was about time, I knowwww)

Kissing frogs and toads, no thanks. Give me a real prince!

Anyway, we gave a chance to the toad to escape Conan. Just one chance. Then, I would have let mother nature do its job and Conan get his first prey.

The ugly toad escaped.
He will probably meet a girlie toad, live happily ever after. And get..... lots of ugly baby toads!

(told you it was a disgusting story ;-)

Such a courageaous shrimpette : ))

Lola and I finally spent our day at Necker hospital on Friday.
I expected a short appointment, but they decided to make the necessary tests in the same day to confirm what they instantly said, from the symptoms and the videos of Lola's crisis.

We came back in the afternoon so that she could get another electroencephalogram. She had to fall asleep so that it could work properly.

It was very hot in the hospital, she was comfortably installed in a room with soft music, etc. After 15 minutes she was sleeping. The lil electrical connections in the brain started to talk a language I don't know.

The professor, the head of the neurologist department, was a tall man, taller than Martin I think. About 70 years-old, with a white beard and a mixture of super clever and sweet touch in the eyes and expression.

Lola was very impressed, in a good way.

He talked to Lola all the time, told her to come and watch the videos of her own crisis (I had never shown them to her, it's way too scary, already for me)... and was truly scared of her own image... but then he told her it was normal, because she suffered from a (small) form of epilepsy, and that is exactly what happens to people suffering from it.

She has started a treatment.

She was very happy to get a treatment. To get words. To have an adult talking to her about what she had.

I was sad and happy. Exhausted from the day, the stress.
We left hospital, I took Loup from a friend and one hour later, we were on the road to Brittany, to breathe for two days.

Lola slept wonderfully on that Friday night : )

Faster pussycat!

if you knew how many things I gotta (want to) blog about!
My life's speed, I live with a chronometer in mind. Every minute counts. I need to walk a bit and stop running.

But anyway, I'll have a full week (next week) to blog more peacefully than usual.
In 18 minutes (lol) I gotta make a special session of body combat at my sport club, then I jump in the car for 10 hours of driving to reach Hamburg (for a week).
We'll pack the kittens too, it's gonna be fun fun fun ;-)

Really I don't know who reads my blog but be sure I have much inspiration for it, boiling mind for it. Just give me another day and I'll be back at ewws my Beaudies

(taking a minute to purr now)

When Caroline Ingalls gets suicidal tendencies

I've cooked all day, or so! yeahhhh (got the proof below! I'm SUCH a Caroline, sometimes!)

I love giving the devils a sense for treats. Ok, I hate cooking, but I hide it very well for my babes. Today, it was pretty fun, Lola was reading the recipes, like holding the magic book with magic spells... and Loup, lil man of action, was making the cooking part.

While cooking, we always discuss a lot. And then, I started to talk about Christmas. Told them Santa Claus has an official toys list called .... "amazon.fr"

God, I am so naive. They left the cooking instantly and spent hours and lots of sheets of papers to take notes. They've made endless lists.
Loup wants everything in the "weapon" category. EVERYTHING!
Lola wants ... as many things from every categories !

Now they wonder if Santa can really cary everything in a single night ...

Challenge

ok, Loup hasn't broken his lil leg this time. Should be more kewl.
But hey, 8 weeks of holidays for kids... isn't that a kind of punishment for parents?

I will survive.

But it's LONG!
(does that make of me a bad mama???)

ya can't fool a mom!

Well actually you can.
How many lies did I tell to my mom when I was a kid (and ok, I still lie to her sometimes! Sounds like normal! Hey, she's my mom, not my BFF!)

I think she did not notice all these lil lies I used to say to have the time of my life on weekends... and I hope I won't noticed my devils' lil lies, otherwise.... I'll reach a super high level of stress!
I know what teenager are made of, I've been one of them!

Anyway my devils are still babes, but they can't fool me yet! Mwahaha !

Tonight I was to read them a lil bedtime story.
Loup said he was too tired for that (I instantly got suspicious)
Then I saw Lola hiding a big book under their blanket (they sleep together at the moment).
I had heard them whispering 5 minutes earlier (they're never really discreet!).. Loup had asked Lola to read this book once I'd be gone.

So, well, I started reading their bedtime story for 2 minutes.
Loup was strangely smiling all the time at me (I was laughing inside!)
Then they kicked me out of the bedroom. I knew they had a plan, I knew they had a lil torch lamp under their cushion.

I loved it :)))

Remember your dreams?

sometimes? yes, same for me.
Unfortunately I don't remember dreams where I'm flying above prairies full of flowers, I mainly remember those who provoke a disturbed sleep. Usually the erotic stuff or the scary stuff.

hm, well I've remembered pretty well my nightmare last night.

It's so real in my mind, that's what scares me. As if it really happened.

I was in a metro station, waiting on the quay for the metro. Just near where the metro arrives first (where the tunnel stops).

And there was this old lovely couple talking near me. Laughing, arguing. Very alive couple.
Suddenly the woman steps back and falls on the rail.

She's not hurt, or does not seem to be. She adjusts, sits straight, with her legs stretched a bit spread. She tries to understand what happened. Recovering.
Everything is slow to me.

Before her husband or I could react, the eyes of the metro appear in the dark tunnel. The lil lady does not hear it coming.
We hear the breaks, too late of course. Too fast.

I instantly hold the hand of the old man.

The metro can't stop and runs over the lil lady, and will finally stop one meter after.

I hold the old man's hand more tightly, he's crying, unable to talk, move or anything.
Tears runs down my cheeks.

We're under the shock. The world has stopped.

I remember the firemen coming on the other side of the rails. The old man and I looking down for endless minutes to avoid "seeing" anything. I remember the "bag" in which they carry the broken dead body.

More tears.

I won't sleep much tonight, 4 hours (after will be on the road). I guess I won't get any dream. I'm too tired for them. Phewwww!
