I guess these 2 new lil treasures below, that I have bought a few days ago, are quite revealing (yeah I know, I take any opportunity to show my legs, huh! hehe true, true).
We are all made of specific tastes, desires. Sometimes there's a beautiful unity in what we are. Sometimes happy chaos.
What are you made of ??

I think I'm between unity and chaos. Lots of duality in me, like... yeah I bought these lovely sandals (desperate for not finding summer boots) and these free fighter shorts. Men's shorts in the smallest size possible. lol.

They're perfect for the kind of sports I do, jumping a lot, kicking ghost baddies, etc. And they simply rock (no? tss you've no taste :P)

I think part of that duality is simply the expression of the female and male sides in me. I chose these shoes and shorts as almost a caricature of that feature. Might be a caricature, a bit extreme, but so true.




In some other life I dream of being a talented tattooist  and an expert at some martial art. lol. Yeah that would fit.
It's a bit too late for all that (I knowwww some will say the contrary), and that sucks.

Yet...  that's a pretty good dream, one that always brings a smile.

So, are you a happy chaos? Or more coherent with a harmonious personality, hm?

Jane Campion was so far the only woman winning the top prize at Cannes Festival a few years ago with the Piano. I found that quite surprising. Not chocking, just surprising.

When I think of that (powerful) movie... I believe it had to be made by a woman. There was a particular approach. Feminine I think.

I love her sensitivity.

And I like when she talks of the "romantic impulse", that I would translate as "passion"..

I talk making lots of gestures...
I easily make faces, I sigh, I (discretely) yawn, I jump from happiness, I kick ghosts from anger.
My body talks a lot!

Then, my red hair, my boots, the muscles I try to get, probably the way I walk. Fast and determined. Yeah of course my body talks a looooot.

And now I understand there are kind of subtitles on my body... my tattoos!

If it was aesthetically ok... 50% of my body would be covered with snakes. yeah I know... scary! Good I am very coquette. lol
Snakes are clever, they represent knowledge, freedom, selfishness, it's very masculine, complementary to the woman, to me.

ha well, that would be too many snakes and that would scare (not!) the devils.

Anyway, I have discovered that I had an arm made for love and one for freedom! Yeah that rocks! And well, that sounds a bit 1970-ish but I'm proud I naturally get both concepts in the flesh. I did not wanted these lovely concepts particularly, it's my body that revealed them.

On my "love" arm, I want to get an anchor, meaning how much love matters to me, no matter the storms, the deadly waves, Love is here (chabadabada).
Then roses around because it's cute it could symbolize different forms of love. Love flourishing in different ways. Like one rose for Lola, one rose for Loup, I don't know. But love grows, love expanded. That's the idea maybe. Love is not static.

Anyway, that will be one of the ideas for my next tats. Sunny will soon come back to me with her talent (I want her own style for them).

huho! I can hardly believe this is happening..

From a super hero, one of the most boring one, this one is turning into some super-super hero, and (but that is not guaranteed yet) he's turning into an interesting one!

.. Not because he renounces his U.S. citizenship (but I suspect this is a trick, belated April's fools day), but because for a very first time he's talking so freely, getting rid of his chains.

And a couple of days ago, I dreamt of a tat', a butterfly with skulls in the wings. Oh I was talking happily with Sunny my tattooist in that dream. I hardly felt the needles, just the excitement of these new marks printed on my skin.

So I take it as an excuse a sign from the gods. :P

Gotta have new ones! And I know which ones. This butterfly will be part of them!

News from the demons :)
Satan the brown and Conan the grey are now travellers and adventurers :) They've visited Germany and seemed they enjoyed it a lot: new leather sofa to scratch, a balcony with lots of birds around, many lil stuff on the shelves to play with : )

They're still practising to have babies, but I think (hey I HOPE!) they're not matured enough. And I stop them whenever they start again (well really it's Conan's initiative!)
But I think next month they'll both have to be operated :(

Both start to have their lil habits.. like Conan being crazy for MY breakfast! pfff.. he actually always finishes it (just what's left of milk and cereals), because I get bored of his attacks!
I'm so easy, like with Loup... if he just insists and insists for hours, at one point... I give up the fights. lol (btw: that has never worked with men! only with my devils and demons! :P)
Satan, she loves water and gets very good at spreading any full glass or open bottle. Soon one of them will voluntary take a bath, I bet ten bucks on that!

Conan is getting much bigger than his lil sister. They're so typically male and female, I really love that!
Conan is a crazy teen, just rushing in a closed door if he's playing without paying attention!
Satan is more reserved, but sharp when it comes to catch flies!

They cuddle a lot when they clean each other; Conan is being very dominating, and Satan... well Satan totally enjoys that it seems! hehe * happy sigh *

Smoking a cigarette can be SO sexy ! I do remember that sensation, the smoke between the lips, the cigarette negligently held between fingers.



But with a pipe... God, you gotta be very imaginative to find it sexy ! (okok I took extremes as examples!).. :P
 I really like smoking the pipe, specially that German tobacco that gets a mirabelle taste.
Mmmm... incredible!

But then it's a selfish pleasure, I like smoking my pipe in a very quiet moment. Alone.

I prefer holding a cig than a pipe though (I should stop talking of that, my hands are trembling from excitement, or so! :P)

I know, (just can't remember them right now), a few remakes that are better than the original ones... Yet I can't understand the process, specially when the movie was a success.

The best remakes are often said to be the Fly or the Thing, which are both excellent, but I have no idea what the originals are. lol

** From Hamburg with Love!

In two days I'm back to Paris. We've come here for a week, to stick with the family because of hard times (i won't talk of that on here, my blog is focused on the light stuff)

Enjoying Hamburg without sharp temperatures and biting snow feels like paradise. Again, I'm under the charm of the city, its rocking places, its harbour, everything's perfect (but the temperatures on wintertime!). Give me a few millions and I buy a house there, I'll watch cargos passing everyday, that really takes me high! lol : ))

It actually reminds me of Miami ... LOL  the real city, so alive, and the harbour, the wilderness so close! (Well my hearts beats for tropical Miami though! the temperatures there are simply perfect! : ))

Paris by day

Why do I love Paris? Just * that * is enough to sum it up. Paris by day on a sunny day is truly fantastic! Just stop and sit down on a terrasse, or walk along the Seine, just enjoy the polluted Beaudy and you can reach heaven :)
Paris by night is as much tempting, as much wonderful. More maybe. Secret corners everywhere. Totally magic.

Just before leaving for Hamburg on Sunday, I had lots of sport, enough to break me at least... but with a lunch on a sunny terrasse in between, that felt like heaven!

Faster pussycat!

My life's speed, I live with a chronometer in mind. Every minute counts. I need to walk a bit and stop running.

But anyway, I'll have a full week (next week) to blog more peacefully than usual.
In 18 minutes (lol) I gotta make a special session of body combat at my sport club, then I jump in the car for 10 hours of driving to reach Hamburg (for a week).
We'll pack the kittens too, it's gonna be fun fun fun ;-)

Really I don't know who reads my blog but be sure I have much inspiration for it, boiling mind for it. Just give me another day and I'll be back at ewws my Beaudies

Spring in Paris

The devils and I got lunch on a sunny terrasse then popcorn in a sunny green place. I did not work much on that day but I haven't wasted my time, I tell you.

Quart d'heure américain

Just the name of that lil game (lady's choice at a dancing party) sounds soooo dusty! We still played it when I was a teen. For 15 minutes (a couple of slow songs), you were invited to chose your partner for a dance and he could not really refuse. lol So practical!

I actually wonder about the origin  of the French name "quart d'heure Américain", my only guess would be something linked to WWII, linked to American soldiers, end of the war parties stuff?
Any idea?

Slows. There are of course hundreds of wonderful slower songs. But I refer to the ones that would push you in the arms of your man / girl.

Dancing on slow romantic songs.. That's pretty intimate, which is good when you want to get intimate!

The thing is that most of the time I did not dance with the guy I wanted! lol ... minutes then were long, endless!
Then, the songs themselves... I've never fell for "Still loving you", "say you, say me" kind of stuff! lol

And then, there are those that have all the spices in them, the exact recipe to make you react. For me it's always been the Animals House of the rising sun or (yeah, appreciate my originality here, thank you!) the Eagles's Hotel California. lol

because... even if not truly exciting, it's quite entertaining to learn about the fucking gifted and clever bastards  that created Facebook or Napster. And being the users of all their inventions, we feel part of the machine, funny. Scary.

Well I'm not sure it sums up the movie really. It was my favourite among this list. Why, I think Colin Firth's acting made everything, and all the supporting actors. I truly loved it.

Black Swan

Because you get caught by the atmosphere, the sharp stress. I wasn't attracted at all by the movie. I knew I'd see a wonderful actress acting, but then... The ballet background... of course you expect competition to get really bad... but I must say it was quite surprised and pretty good.

127 Hours

Because of one scene, crazy wonderful, where the main character films himself as in a talk show. It was waw WAW so good! Just for that fantastic scene, I'd watch it again!
I thought the whole movie was predictable. I wasn't wrong. But the acting, the filming + this special scene makes it good enough.

True Grit

For that scene where the young girl crosses the river on her big horse to finally get spanked on the other side for being a disobeying girl! Haha yeah, what a scene! : )))
But the 45 first minutes of the movie were way too long, the ending really bad.

Collages. A passion. I really love the other freedom collages can give, the kitsch side of it makes anything possible. Things that wouldn't work in a painting. That is very exciting.
 

I'm really happy, might be the first that will hang on my walls (I usually don't put my own work on my walls, there's so much of myself in my work, that it would be like facing mirrors everywhere. Eeeeck. Does that make sense? lol I wonder)

Again, the photo quality betrays the quality of the collage. It's quite splendid (laughing! no false modesty allowed it seems) when I see it here next to me.
On the photo, it's not sharp enough and it's hard to avoid any reflection because of the varnish on it, which acts like a lil light sucker!

 I'm looking for a plain frame for it, black. I'll sell it framed, with no glass, no need for one :)

 It took me days and days to make it... Collages look simple to do, but it's SO much work. There's always a lot I want to express on my paintings, even more on my collages. I create my realities, my world. Ok, there's always a "front page" story, here a kitty feeding her kittens... and behind a lot more. That's what I like, apparent simplicity hiding a lot more, if you want more. But you can take it for what it is too. Just a fantasy collage, with a mermaid playing the sardine : )

Do you wear any make-up? I wear hardly any, just on the eyes and the lips. And the nails, yes my nails are always done. I don't mind when the polish starts to get off, I find that even kinda cute when I wear "fading away" red. lol. I am not a maniac of the perfect nail! :P

See how I am serious about the topic. I can talk about it for hours minutes and minutes! And for nail polish, I have found the prefect brand to me : Hello kitty. Perfect quality for 7.50€ (still way too expensive!).
I'm starting a collection ;)
I'll avoid some colours though... green, orange, yellow, violet, blue ... I'm classic: into reds mainly, from dark reds to flashy reds... or very pale pink. Those are the best to me.

The first one I tried, white, I gave it to Lola. Too white. Eeeeck!
Then found my colours, and they were perfect:

Yet... the guy was drunk. Does that make what he says true? I wonder. He was drunk.

The girls were quite aggressive too -and not drunk! - asking if he was blond, etc. I'd take it pretty badly if I were drunk. BLOND !!! grmmphhh

Anyway, all that is not so important, lol. I just see a bunch of hypocrites spitting on the drunk guy. Of course his words are just terrible, but he was badly drunk, that does not help to be clever.
And I don't want to imagine what Karl Lagerfeld does or says when drunk! :P

All that anyway is a good lesson of life, if you get drunk, don't do it in public places! Do it at home, in safe quarters .... aka Don't make your John Galliano!

During the winter sales, I bought actually nothing, till the very last day... Spring boots! Just a 8 cm heel, supa comfortable. I just need Spring to start very quickly.

Octopus. Oh yummm!
I have just tried octopus sushi and I felt very bad... because I simply LOVED it and at the same time I've always found octopus absolutely adorable.
Ok, I eat lamb and rabbit, so cuteness might be quality criteria, don't know!

But anyway, the octopus I had was nothing like rubber, it was melting, delicious. Just typing about it, I'm drooling again. lol : ))

 When the kids make a toast, do you know what they ALWAYS say?

Talking of rugger... a miracle happened. A friend (she and I used to share passion for rugby and a hundred other things), a very good close friend, a sista really, that I thought lost ad vitam eternam reappeared in my life.
That makes me so deeply happy!

Another friend of mine (that some of you know) a Canadian pirate, a sista too has gone through very tough times. Still in the middle of it, but recovering. That broke my heart. Why life can be such a bitch with angels?!!!

Martin has created a blog for the kittens :P When they were born, there were 4 kittens. The plan is to make a blog with the whole gang, our 2 demons and their 2 other brothers who live in different families :)

I almost never talk of negative or tough stuff in here. It does not help me to share, usually. Strange huh? But I'm most concerned with Lola at the moment. She's having crisis close to epilepsy, always during the night, an hour before waking up. It happens on some irregular basis since December. 4 times in February. Thankfully, not so often, huh. But you'd see that happening, it's scary and heart breaking. I have spent 3 days alone in Paris during the kids'holidays. That was like a dream, you know... just time without worrying, just time for myself. But got sick during the three days lol. That sucked!

I have almost made an overdose with sport last week. Just too much, my body was really begging for me to stop I think. I have stopped for 2 days, now I'm back to it. Phewwww ;-)

Voilà, these were all the news aside, the news I wasn't to talk about in here. But there you go.

V like Very bad pets!

I've watched already some weeks ago V season 1 and just started watching season 2 ... well, just entertaining to me, perfect when multitasking! ... ok with less charm and of course originality than the ermm... original ;-) but some good points in the new one too.

There's a spoiler in the season 2 trailer, but my sister's such a fan of "her" that I had to share it :P

Life is so busy, so so busy that despite a hundred of different topics I've in mind, I just can't sit down for my bloggie whenever I'd like.

I've been working on candle holders orders lately, had to finish them quickly. I've several projects in mind to come, paintings and collage... here are 3 project among the dozen that is on papers. Sorry for the bad quality sketches, it's just to share bits of my secret garden with you : )

Of course when there's a barbarian that tries to sabotage everything I start, it's just less easy ;)

Conan's a real boy, adventurous, he tries the craziest actions, often fails, crashes in some awkward way on the floor... but never surrenders. Obstinate he'll try again and again.

He's also very LAZY and affectionate, he spends hours stuck to me, which makes me the happiest (despite the lil fleas he's carrying! pfffff)

I should have guessed though, she's so delicate, she has a tiny adorable face, she's fast, a bit shy but already a promising hunter!

and she's clever, oh yeah! She already reads subtitles, see! :P

Because well, System of a Down... their separation years ago, etc. There was no hope to enjoy another of their concerts. It was totally hopeless!


8 years ago, I had a round belly, with a lil Lola inside, and SOAD's concert was one of the best concerts I had seen.

Besides Metallica and Pink Floyd, maybe Rammstein too, SOAD's concerts are on my top list. And this concert was SO unexpected. They only have 11 dates I think in Europe. With 2 in Paris. The first date was sold out before I could shoot! Thank god they added another date. The 8th of June. Just can't wait!
